Calling APC a failure is an understatement. Especially on the federal capacity. |
The transport system provides means of living to more than half of the "illiterate" men in Lagos. I hope he considers this while providing this alternative more befitting transport system, Disengaging these men without other means to make ends meet is itself a security risk, lest the become armed robbers. A more urgent solution is needed for the problem called "Agbero." They are the more defacing and menacing factor in the transformation of Lagos to a Megacity. |
Even Tiwa agrees that reply was Savage. ![]() |
This one has scammer written allover him. They couldn't prophesy the present but can see the future. Interesting. |
tydi:Do you know mustard seeds business is fast growing now thanks to Xtians? Jesus used mustard seed figuratively and bingo some pastors are capitalizing on it. It supposedly helps build the faith of their ever gullible victims I mean members. |
AdemolaA2:I quite agree. But it all depends on the intention behind learning it. If you learn these "soft skills" simply for professional purpose, it'll never be effortless. But if learnt to improve yourself and become a better evolved person, and inculcate it in your daily interactions beyond work, it becomes effortless. |
The Presidency should make an official statement to address the health condition of Mr President. I sensed trouble after Zahra posted and celebrated his "Successful treatment" while our dear Femi Adesina (Spokesman Generale) kept insisting he was just on leave and medical check up. Kontinu, |
AdemolaA2:They can be learned too. To some it just comes naturally and effortlessly. |

The venue of the protest just presented itself. |
When Xtians quote the bible, I just gotta ask, who was writing these things down? Were the disciples following Jesus around with a recorder or ink & papyrus? How come God spoke all these things through clouds and thunders in the good ol'days, but now giving us the "Silent treatment" Oh I forgot, he whispers through the "holy spirit" nowadays. The bible is a very good story book. A guide to living a "controlled" life. Nothing more. Other religions have their own story books too. Shall we then call other religious books holy and bible holiest? Or only the bible is Holy? The only reason we're even practising these religions (Christianity and Islam) is cos of our colonial masters. Had China or India colonised us I bet we'll be more Hindus and Buddhists. Your religion is hence dependent on your colonial masters who sought to impose their beliefs and control their slaves while preaching salvation and robbing you blind. However "I do not mean to disturb and damage the life and hopes of some fellow human being or damage the faith of another." but even the bible says only the truth can set you free. |
Well said. Now that we have their attention (Presidency). We should not just complain and protest alone, to what effect? Now We need Professionals in Economics, Commerce, Counter Intelligence, Science, etc who have practical solutions to the problem called Nigeria. Yes, we need to enumerate the list of things the Presidency is doing wrong and proffer realistic solutions that are achievable and controllable if projected results are not materializing. We need to make our audible voices heard not noise. |
snowden9:lol in Steve erkel's voice "Did I doo that?" |
Gwan2:Your opinion, not fact. If it's that deep and diabolical another politician should die every other day. 2baba made a wise choice realising things could go south and he'd become the scape coat and lose it all in a blink of an eye. All the past martyrs who remembers them? When was the last time any one remembered Gani Fawehinmi? Or Abiola or Saro Wiwa, etc. Nigerians are not worth dying for. If it was another country, he probably would still champion the cause. I still maintain that a body like NLC is better posited for the protest if there's to be any. |
gwan2 Fear of the politicians isn't the issue. The concern is the loss of lives when different protesters clash cos the protest was already getting politicized. Eventually it would all be on whose head? NLC is better posited for this protest. |
Usually my "spider sense" goes haywire in situations like this but I don't believe 2baba had ulterior motive behind the protest. He instigated it with the genuine intention of letting the govt know that the nation is groaning and collectively we're all fed up with the state of the economy. The message has been passed. The momentum and support amassed by the purported protest alone has left the presidency quivering. The VP has addressed the press on the issue, albeit to establish the our individual right to protest as opposed to the police intimidation. Yes, a lot might have happened behind the scene; consultation is a loose word. It could be threats, advice, etc. But the fact remains that 2Baba is one man, even though he championed the protest, him pulling out doesn't necessarily mean Nigerians shouldn't protest. He did claim the protest wasn't his movement to begin with, he's just a supporter just like every one else. But the question remains, can the protest be peaceful, organised and coordinated? We hear of counter protests, political hijackers (Fayose precisely), police intimidation, and of course the opportunist miscreants- "area boys" I really wish the protest could be successful but I believe the message has been passed across. The most successful Protest that never held. |
jimohibrahim:Computer village is to Lagos as ________ is to Abuja/Suleja. Fill in the gap. That's your promised land. |
Nightshift:Trump is fighting the system. It is imperative for the system to fight back. There's a paradigm shift in power in the US. You have no idea how much opposition Trump is contending with. His principles transcend partisan ideologies, which was why both Democrats and Republicans tried everything in the means and power to stop him but he was prepared. I respect that man. Any US politician, past or present can not be expected to have anything good to say about Trump, cos he is not one of them. He does not support their lies and propaganda over the years. He is a political anomaly to them. I believe Trump is a good leader, not a perfect one but possibly the best choice for US presently. I know his bluntness got him elected but now as the POTUS, he needs to learn to be more politically correct to the media lest his bluntness might become his undoing. Imagine a world where all presidents and prime ministers were as blunt as Trump. |
stefanbanach:You harsh o. ![]() Calling off the protest is the height of hand falling on the part of 2Baba. He'll never have that power and influence again cos trust Nigerians, we never forget. Though I believe eventually in hind sight we'll come to understand his conviction that countless lives would be lost due to political hijackers. I became skeptical the moment that clown Fayose voiced his support of the protest cos nothing peaceful comes out of that unstable thug. That said, the Message has indeed been passed. The people are lamenting and angry. The voice of the people, they say is the voice of God. The presidency must have felt the cold chill in their spines as the protest gathered unprecedented Momentum. I suggest NLC is in a better position to conduct the protest. A one-day strike should be declared to this effect. Whatever happened to NLC? Money na bastardo, all our activists have been choked with bribes they no get voice again. First they cut off the head (Oshiomole) then dropped the proverbial apple of discord in their midst. (Divide and Rule) |
Very informative. That condom bit though... For storing water? Who go drink condom water na? ![]() |
ReneeNuttall:True but is it not better to face your demons now and overcome them than fail to acknowledge them and end up only postponing dooms day. Cos eventually, the inevitable will happen. Although marriage is complicated, I can only stress the importance of honesty to address the issue of barrenness. It all depends on proper presentation.lol |
ReneeNuttall:Thanks. But it amazes me when both parties are in denial. Some couples have not been honest about their barrenness and instead spend productive hours in various churches when a proper marriage counselling and hospital test would prove more effective. |
abdulkabirO:The concept of Trinity is only in Christianity. Besides not all all Christians approve of its indoctrination. Cos how can one buy the idea of an all sovereign God, condescending so low to the status of the imperfect Man he created, all in the effort to be molested, abused and killed by mere mortals, so that he can save them. I believe an All Sovereign God can do better than that and find better ways of salvation for his Creation, without stooping so darn low. |
yomi007k:True. I'm only stating the most prominent cases. Those are rare cases. |
newyorks:True. But apparently I'm only stating the most prominent cases. Those other factors are rare cases. |
yomi007k:Sorry o. My bad if I have projected that but that's no fault if mine. I only aim to address the issue of barrenness. What a man and his wife agree as to their family population is completely up to them, if it's their choice. |
newyorks:kindly elaborate pls. |
Once his immunity expires, I wonder where Professor Fayose will exile himself. Fighter for his people according to a highly influential and political pastor. Time is patient, so is Justice. |
Any one who knows me knows I'm a blunt person when it comes to speaking the truth, even some times to my own detriment, regardless of whose ox is gored. There are certain laws by which Nature operates. One of which is; The Law of Karma Or Law of Cause and Effect Also known as The Newton's 3rd Law of Motion; To every Action, there's an Equal and Opposite Reaction. Every Situation in life whether good or bad, has a cause and it's corresponding effect. I will relate this to the predicament of Barrenness. I'm from a home of four. Two parents and Two sons. When I tell people this, they often quiz me asking why only two? I used to find that funny and irrelevant retorting it was the choice of my parents and why should they contribute to over populating the earth. (Don't blame me, I was naive.) As I grew older I became more inquisitive, why only two of us, when some of my friends' parents were practically trying to start a football team. I remember my parents tried at some point but suffered the pain and disappointment of a miscarriage. I remember "peeping" as my dear brave mom was wreathing in pain in the veranda before she was rushed to the hospital where her wombs having been damaged by the miscarriage had to be closed for her safety. I made nothing of the episode until years later, I just thought she had a really bad stomach ache. Over the years as I became more "experienced" with women, I started to see things differently. I quizzed my mom (don't ask how, sons usually have a way with their mothers just as daughters their fathers). I asked her details I really can't divulge but bottom line there was a cause and she suffered the effect. I consider her lucky as some women don't even get second chance to motherhood. I have a barren aunt, I eventually after much probing got to the root of her predicament. No woman was created Barren. Neither was any man created Impotent. What I aim to achieve at the end of this missive is solution and productive confrontation. If you and your spouse find yourselves in the position of barrenness or incessant miscarriages I implore you to seat each other down. First and most obvious fallacy that has to be addressed is that Barrenness contrary to stereotype is not always a fault of the woman. Although in most cases, it is. That being said both the man and the woman can be the cause of the effect which in this case is barrenness. The hard truth is there are 3 major reasons for Barrenness, viz; -Unprofessional abortion on the part of the woman -Low motility of sperm on the part of the man, mostly due to over indulgence in sex, masturbation, drinks and drugs. -STI's on both sides. Both parties hence need to address this squarely and honestly, if there's to be a chance for breaking the yoke of barrenness. There's a great joy in creating and bringing life into this world. But there's a greater joy in being a successful parent. Being barren is not necessarily the end of the world. Adoption, artificial insemination among others are alternative ways to parenthood. God bless our Parents and God Bless us as well as we also become Parents.
