PoliticsImam Who Saved 300 Christians During Plateau Killings, Arrives Govt House. Photo by PrettyCrystal(op): 4:31pm On Jul 31, 2018
The governor of Plateau state, Mr. Simon Lalong, has met with the 83-year-old Islamic cleric, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, who saved the lives of about 300 people that ran to his home when killer herdsmen invaded about 15 communities in the Barkin Ladi local government area of the state, killing over 200 persons.

He hid them in the mosque and stood by the door to wade off the attackers at great risk to his life at Nghar Yelwa village (Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State),  during the tragic Plateau attack of June 23 and 24, 2018.

The people, mainly Christians, were said to be fleeing from a neighbouring village in the Barkin Ladi LGA when the Imam hid them in his house and mosque.

“I hid the women in my personal house and after that, I took the men into the mosque and hid them there,” Imam Abubakar had stated.

Gov Lalong is taking him for a Presidential handshake with President Muhammadu Buhari with recommendation for National honours.

CrimeArisekola Ademeso Owoseni Arrested After Months Absconding. Photos by PrettyCrystal(op): 4:00pm On Jul 31, 2018
It was earlier reported that a manhunt was launched for an alleged ringleader of a fraudsters syndicate involved in a N4 million HIV scam, Arisekola Ademeso Owoseni (Dr. Quash)... Adekola, said to be the CEO of MCD Filmz and Record Store in Ondo, confessed to the crime in a conversation before he absconded.

The suspect has been arrested and is currently at the office of the NSCDC Ondo State Command.

‘You f*cked up’, Arisekola (Dr. Quash) told a radio presenter after his arrest.

Arisekola Owoseni Ademeso (Dr. Quash) who reportedly defrauded a victim living with AIDS in Ondo, has faulted, Omo Edema, the presenter of Gongo Nso radio programme for reporting his fraudulent exploits to the public on air.

Recall the CEO of MCD Filmz and Records Store at Surulere Ondo, who had been on the run for the past few months over the matter, was later arrested late hours of last Sunday.

Court had ordered two members of the gang earlier arrested to be reminded at Olokuta prison, Akure.

Arisekola, who had earlier confessed to have collected ₦350,000 from his victim in a conversation, was now denying of collecting money from him before. Other victims also gave painful accounts of their huge financial loss on their encounter with the alleged arrowhead and his boys at their shrine at Ayeyemi in Ondo.

He, (Arisekola) later promised to refund the AIDS victim with ₦500,000 and one among other victims with ₦400,000.

He was quoted as saying “I will give the Hiv/aids man ₦500,000 and ₦400,000 to the other woman otherwise let us all meet in the court.”

“Omo Edema you f*cked up Olorun! The confessional statement made to you by (Baba Asala) Dayo Akinjisola was enough for you to have access to me and never remain the same again. I am a popular Jingle in Ondo and everybody knows me. You would have sent the statement to me and asked me to meet with you within three days. By now I would have been announcing that you are a good man. In fact by now I would have been supporting your radio programmes financially.”

Earlier, two among the gang members were arrested in which one of them, Dayo Akinjisola, a 69-year-old man, confessed that he joined the group two years ago. That ₦50,000 was his own share from the total amount defrauded of the victim. And that Arisekola was their leader and owner of their shrine at Ayeyemi in Ondo. He later lamented that he would have disengaged from the group but for the fear of hunger.

PoliticsMan Who Bought Stolen SUV Arrested While Flexing Friends In Abuja. Photos by PrettyCrystal(op): 10:02am On Jul 30, 2018
A man was arrested after purchasing a stolen Lexus SUV for N500,000 in Abuja. It was gathered that the man after repainting the vehicle and changing the registration, had taken his friends out to flex to celebrate his "new vehicle" not knowing the car had been tracked to their drinking spot.

The suspect was arrested after he came out of the bar to enter the vehicle. He made confessional statements which led to the arrest of others involved.

Below is what John Oloche Matthew shared on Facebook;

Last night ended very well with a successful recovery of this stolen vehicle. In brief, the suspects in the pictures moved the vehicle on the 16th of this month somewhere around Garki area 3 Abuja from a parked location. The client instructed his driver to park the vehicle at a hotel in Abuja after dropping him at the airport on his way out of the Country.

The driver claimed the key was missing from his pocket and the car was stolen. Last night we tracked the vehicle to Gudu garden where the suspect was having the fun of his life declaring drinks for a purchase of a new vehicle. He had repainted the car from black to white and also changed registration.

We waited for about 3hrs until he finally came out to pick his new vehicle then he was arrested. Now his confession: He bought the said vehicle for N500,000 only.

This is lovely. The first female pilot in Akwa Ibom, Captain Violet Aniema Medekong Enahoro, yesterday celebrated 10 years wedding anniversary with her husband 1st Captain Mario Enahoro, a Co-pilot with AirPeace. The pretty pilot is from Oron in Akwa Ibom state and married to a pilot from Edo state.

In an interview conducted some years back, Violet Enahoro revealed how she enjoys being married to a pilot and how they share stories about their work. In her words;

I’m married to a pilot and this works perfectly for me. They say pilots talk about flying a lot. It’s true, it never gets boring, no two days are really the same and usually I can’t wait to get home and tell him about some weird escapade and vice versa ( be at peace, pilots don’t take passengers up and hunt escapades). I also have a 3 year old and another on the way, which means I’ll have to stop flying soon.

CrimeNotorious Kidnappers Neutralized After Gun Battle In Ogun. Graphic Photos by PrettyCrystal(op): 7:38am On Jul 25, 2018
A notorious kidnap syndicate has been neutralized after heavy shootout with the police. A member of the syndicate was laid lifeless while another one was said to be on danger list in an undisclosed hospital he was taken to by the police, following exchange of fire power with men of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Two other members of the gang were arrested with severe injuries sustained during the encounter, of which, according to the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyas, two policemen also sustained minor injuries and were back on their feet after treatment.

Parading the suspects yesterday, Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the state police headquarters, Eleweran in Abeokuta, the state capital, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu said: "On July 12, 2018, intelligence revealed that some armed bandits, who are specialists in kidnapping and armed robbery and whose operations cut across the northern and southern parts of the country, had arrived the state. Their target in Ogun State were two businessmen, namely Alhaji Shehu and Alhaji Kabiyesi. They planned to either rob them or kidnap them for ransom".

Crimepuzzle learnt that, on getting the intelligence, CP Iliyasu wasted no time in mandating the Officer-In-Charge of FSARS, SP Uba Adams, to ensure he tracked, trailed and rounded up the hoodlums, a directive we further learnt, the FSARS operatives technically trailed the bandits and accosted them in Abeokuta, even before getting to their targeted victims.

According to CP Iliyasu, "On sighting the policemen, they engaged them in a gun battle, but were subdued by the superior fire power of the police. At the end of the gun battle, one of the suspects was shot dead, while three namely Yussuf Abdullahi, Ali Mohammed Audu Isa were arrested".

The police boss stated that varying arms and ammunition were recovered at the "battle ground", which comprised seven AK47 rifles with breach numbers NK-343861 and 5625013477; two Pump Action guns; seven magazines; 110 rounds of live 7.62mm ammunition and 30 rounds of live cartridges.

The CP said that the arrested suspects had given very useful information to the police on their various intents, escapades and planned operations, even as they confessed, during interrogation, to have involved in series of robberies and kidnapping operations in several states in the northern and southern parts of the country, "leaving behind tales of fury, sorrow and death in the places they operated".

The police chief added that, "This is a signal to others in their shoes that Ogun State is not and will never be a place where they can fester or hibernate, as our operatives are working round the clock to ward off such criminal elements", adding that his command was resolute and determined to flush out any unscrupulous element out of the state, in order to ensure that the good people of the state slept with their two eyes closed.

The outgoing Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration as a ‘government of beasts’. Mr Fayose said this while visiting the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, on Tuesday.

The visit, Mr Fayose said, is to solidarise with the duo on their recent travails with security agencies.

Mr Fayose condemned the siege on the residences of the Senate leaders on Tuesday.

Mr Fayose commended the 15 senators who defected from the APC.

On Ekiti elections, Mr Fayose accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of holding on to election documents despite several requests to access it by the PDP.

Mr Fayose’s deputy, Olusola Eleka, lost the Ekiti governorship election to Kayode Fayemi of the APC.

Mr Fayose described people who said he would run away after his party lost the election as ‘idiots’.

A Nigerian motivational speaker, Christopher Gabriel, did the unusual after apprehending a thief who came to rob at the garden of his house in Abuja last month. According to reports, the suspect identified as Timothy was said to have been stealing in the area unhindered before his capture.

Rather than allow the suspect to be beaten or lynched, Christopher took his time to counsel him and even went to the extent of offering him a job.

It was gathered that after the incident, the man who became remorseful for his actions - brought other items he has stolen from the garden.

Read what Christopher shared on Facebook;

A MOST WATCH MIRACLE OF THE DAY. AFTER YOU READ PLS WATCH........Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.

Today we apprehended a thief 30 minutes ago, at the Garden of my house, and after everything, i dint allow the people of the street to lynch and kill the young man by name TIMOTHY who's just 28 years old.

Obviously the outer unit of some AIR-CONDITION OF THE COOLER USE TO CHILL PURE WATER HAS BEEN TAKEN INCLUDING SOME OTHER VALUABLES.

Rather than beaten and allowing boys to bounce on him, i chose to speak to him advice and counsel him, then FINALLY I OFFERED HIM A JOB TO WORK FOR ME.

IN PURSUANT TO THE VISION I HAVE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, I CHOSE NOT TO CONDEMN A MAM THAT CAN ACTUALLY BECOME GREAT TOMORROW AND HELP CHANGE HE'S WORLD.

THE BEST PART OF TODAY'S INCIDENT, AFTER I LEAD HIM TO CHRIST, HE WENT BACK TO BRING OTHER THINGS HE TOOK FROM THE GARDEN...... GOD BE PRAISE FOREVER MORE..

WAS I SACRED OF MY ACTIONS A VERY BIG YES, BUT IN IT, I TRUSTED MY FAITH MORE THAN MY VERY OWN ACTION.
