The Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC) arrested some set of cult members while having their meeting around 2:00am today at Eputu Axis, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government in Lagos.

According to the Corps boss, Mr Lateef S. O. , he said they have been a threat to the lives of the people in the Community of Ibeju-Lekki at large. “Their colleagues in this act will also be apprehended at their due time".

The Executive Chairman Ibeju-Lekki, Hon. Dr. Kemi Surakat, who is the Chief Security Personnel of the Local Government, was invited to see before taking them to the LNSC Headquarter at Lagos. He said "This administration is for zero tolerance to insecurity and therefore all hands must be on desk to ensure security of lives, properties and total peace in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government".

A pregnant woman was on Thursday killed in Orin Ekiti, in Ido-Osi local government area of Ekiti State by yet to be identified armed persons. The woman, who was said to be of Tiv ethnicity, was reportedly shot before she was hacked.

Eyewitnesses said the woman, whose name was not given, was shot in the head, and her eyes were plucked out as a result of the attack.

It was learnt that the assailants also injured one other person who is receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.

The death of the Tiv woman came four days after a Fulani herdsman was killed in a similar situation by persons said to be from the Tiv community in Ekiti State.

This attack is happening barely 24 hours after Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State summoned a peace meeting between the Fulani and Benue people in Ekiti State, where he warned against retaliatory attacks which may result in deaths in Ekiti.

A Nigerian soldier simply identified as Daniel is set to give out N100,000 to anybody who could find his secondary schoolmate and best friend, Anthony Nwadike a.k.a Shemie. The handsome soldier also revealed the condition for collecting the N100K as he said that the person who finds his friend will have to come along with him to his current base which will later be revealed.

A thief named Abdulkadir was arrested while trying to steal at the palace of the late Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Baba Manu in Gombe state. The thief disguised as a lady in order to gain access to carry out his operation smoothly but was nabbed in the process.

I thank God for my life so far and a wonderful Federal job he gave to me last year December as a Christmas gift.. I could vividly remember when i was planning to come to Abuja last year February 2017 to chase for my dreams, everybody were telling me that Abuja is a place where all the single ladies turnout to become Runs babes and it's always difficult for them to marry there in Abuja but to all said and done i didn't give up because my spirit was pushing me to go there that i must make it..

As i came to Abuja February 12 2017 i couldn't stay at home for just 2weeks i started looking for a job immediately going to different offices to submit my CV but any office that i entered they i will ask me if am a computer literate once i said No, they will tell me that they need a computer literate not until one M.D advice me to go and register for computer school instead of me to be looking for a job without the knowledge of computer, I should use that means and time to do so and i gladly did... On my first day of going for my computer school, i saw a sign post (workers urgently needed) i decided to go there hoping that i have gotten a job immediately not knowing it's all this job applicants Agents but that day i didn't have any option than for me to register with them...

That same day they gave me a form to fill as a security Lady..At first i rejected it but they begged me to grab the opportunity that it's hardly for people to get a job in Abuja but later i did it with faith (As a graduate oo) I said God you brought me here and i don't want to sell my body all in the name of job may you manifest and show yourself upon my life...

The next day i went for their interview and passed it that was how i started my security job at Nigerian postal service corporate headquarters Abuja in not less than one month i came to Abuja...Some people were laughing at me saying that they can't do a security job as a Graduate..I told them abeg who graduate EPP since 2013 i finished school no job and you want me to be sitting at home..(Godforbid)..

I started doing the job with happiness, smile, Neatness, jovial and making some staffs my friends immediately without dulling myself oo.. As a sharp Anambra babe i started distributing my CV's immediately in their offices both all the Oga's and junior staffs because i didn't neglect anyone at all..*Note* DON'T NEGLECT ANYONE BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHO MIGHT BE YOUR DESTINY HELPER ... I was so bold enough to talk with the highly respected Oga's in their offices because my God was with me i didn't shiver nor became afraid..I see myself talking with them as if they are just like every other person..Lol..GOD IS TOO MUCH..

The last Oga that i went to his office ( He is a muslim) asked me what gave me the courage and boldness that am a New security lady and what gave me the audacity to come to his office.. I told him that God sent me to him that i heard his in charge of Employment that's why i came, Immediately he started laughing interviewing me and after everything he collected my CV and that was how he became my friend because of my Boldness...

LO AND BEHOLD...They started employment last year October and i was the second person that was offered appointment letter among we security ladies...Even the people that was there before me are still waiting for theirs because God of CHIOMA JESUS was with me and that was how i got my federal government job in Nigerian postal service from SECURITY LADY TO CIVIL SERVANT LADY as a POSTAL CONTROLLER 2 LEVEL 8 STEP 2///....

The Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson and his wife Dr (Mrs) Rachel welcomed a set of quadruplets in 2016. The cute babies, a boy and three girls were delivered at a hospital in America. The babies came after many years of childlessness for the governor’s wife.

On Sunday (yesterday), the governor and his wife organized a party to celebrate the babies' first birthday in Yenagoa, the state capital. The beautiful quadruplets named Alexander, Alaere, Ebierewarisuode and Edimere - were a year and three months old on Sunday.

A woman identified as Rosalyn from Benue state has narrated her ordeal at the hands of her husband whom she claims abuses her both physically and emotionally. The unhappy wife also revealed how she found out that her husband had been sleeping with her sister for 2 years to the extent of getting her pregnant and aborting it.

Good day, my name is Rosalyn.from Benue state I need help so I don't take my life. Because that seem to be the only option now. I got married in court at the age of 19 because I was pregnant and because I didn't want to bring shame to my parents, I got married and it has been the worst decision I ever made..I have never had peace.i have been abused emotional, physically and psychologically..I have no say,at that time I couldn't visit my parents, even when I was pregnant for my two kids, he treated me like I was nothing..

I did Cs and he threatened me to tell the doctor to discharge me because he didn't want to waste money,I ended up having infection on my incision area( a flesh eating disease) it nearly killed me.He refused to put me in school as promised nor pay for me to learn a skill..

I was being punished for everything, it was like I was walking in eggshells. he locked me outside till 3am with my newborn baby inside the room crying for hours because I asked him why he came home by 12am. He goes out to drink, club,cheats with many women.

One day, I asked him a question and he beat me up in front of his mother,then it happened again and again .I ran to my parents house but I was told to go back because divorce is not good and that he'll change..But he never changed, at times he won't talk to me for weeks nor buy food or eat the food I cook, he'll insult me and call me and my family names.

I keep baring everything until last year august when I found out he was sleeping with my kid sis who's 16. She told me that they've been having sex three times a week for 2 years,she got pregnant and they aborted it..I was devastated..I was shocked ,I was in pain..I wanted to run away with my kids but I had nowhere to go to,I had no money, no skill, no degree..

So i stayed bearing it all..He still hasn't changed.he use it to rub on my face instead..I have developed a terrible high blood pressure at the age of 26. He keeps tormenting me and beating me up.. Threatening me with a knife, I ran away to Lagos for some weeks.. Came back and this morning, he starts beating me for no reason... I need to leave this marriage.. I need to get my life back. I need help.

A young man simply identified as Justice was shot dead yesterday (Friday) at about 5.05PM by suspected cult members in Imo state. A serving Corps Member in Cross River State and graduate of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State (2016), Justice who hailed from Abia State was shot in the head while drinking a bottle of Life at a popular spot around the Polytechnic junction. His body was said to have been deposited at Agbala morgue.

According to Okehie Stanley, a source said two out of the six cultists that carried out the operation were caught by local vigilante of a nearby village - Umuokomoche .

According to the source, a local vigilante damned all consequences and grabbed one of the cultists while they were fleeing through the village. “Another was caught near Big Tree of South Africa road following a tip”, the source informed.

Both cultists were said to have since been handed over to the Police at Ihiagwa Divisional Police Station.

Three policemen attached to Amukoko Division by names and service numbers: 25759 Sgt. Osaseri Saturday, 35 9075 Sgt. Segun Okun, 496833 Cpl. Adekunle Oluwarotimi have been tried and dismissed from the Nigeria Police for breeching the rules of engagement to wit reckless application of firearms.

The aforementioned Non Commissioned Officers(NCOs), committed the offence on the 11/01/2018, at about 2130 hours, at Ifelodun street, Amukoko, Lagos state when they disproportionately responded with bullets fired from their weapons at some youths alleged to have hurled some non ballistic missiles at them such as stones, sticks and bottles leading to the death of one of the youths and injury on another.

They were arrested, detained and tried immediately on the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos state, CP Edgal Imohimi. The guilty verdict was passed on them by the Adjudicating officer who considered that the officers did not appreciate the situation critically and ought not to have applied the maximum force on the unruly youths.

Meanwhile the officers will be charged to court next week, while a duplicate copy of the Casefile would be sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecution( DPP) for legal advice.

Sequel to the above occurrence, the Commissioner of Police has directed all the Area Commanders and DPOs in Lagos state to warn their men against misapplication of force. He further warned that officers must abide by the Rules of Engagement ( ROE) as stipulated in Force Order 237.
