Pls there should be complete ban of open grazing..

Nonsense ideas.. The political elites know that a weakened central govt and more powers to regional govt or practical true federalism will give more powers to the masses, and help push the masses to begin to hold their various political leaders accountable, so they are running away from this idea.

They will do everything possible to avoid this idea..

I now subscribe to the theory that atiku knows he has lost the election and eventual court ruling but only trying to remain relevant in the news for 2023 when he clocks 80.

Only a serial political prostitute with no ideologies would do what he just did because he knows he can't even predict where desperation would take him next

If he can't even air his personal position how then would he ever muscle the balls to effect the impossible restructuring the south east worshipped him for
My brother, restructuring is for the best interest of all Nigerians.. Don't allow ethnic sentiment blind u. Even the north will benefit from restructuring..

Atiku is no saint but he is far better than Buhari. Atiku has an open mind and will hire more creative minds to work with him that Buhari who is stone aged.

Mind u, there is still endless looting under Buhari. Na still the same thing. In fact, most presidents dont need to loot, their family members and relatives do the looting..

Please I'm I the only that holds the opinion that the Women's world cup is much more matured than AFCON?
Well, it is normal. The women world cup is organized by FIFA. Fifa is richer than caf countless times..

Secondly, there is no way u can compare a competition organized by FIFA with caf.

Finally, caf is a product failed countries.. As citizens of Africa have refused to hold their leaders accountable, we shouldn't expect a world class sport contest. Why? Africans are poor. A-side north Africans, the other countries are playing nonsense, countries can't afford to travel becus more than half population of citizens in African countries can't afford traveling expenses. Each match cost from 10k naira, how many Nigerians who watch football can afford 10k per month, plus flight fee, visa fee, hotel fee, feeding etc in Egypt. The same story with the rest of African countries.

What the competition lacks is fans attendance. It is like that due to hunger. Not fixing our countries in Africa means we will keep seeing this type of shit..

It is well..
Celebrities › Re: Rapper Olamide And Wife, Bukunmi Aisha Suleiman Welcome Their 2nd Child by Princedapace(m): 12:57pm On Jul 02, 2019
rentAcock:
Nobody welcomes their child into the world via a Nigerian hospital anymore. Trump should close this loophole, if you give birth in the U.S, that's great but no automatic citizenship. Your child must wait until the age of 21 to apply for citizenship and only if he or she has lived and schooled in the U.S for a combination of 18yrs without any criminal infractions. Our politicians, celebrities and regular Nigerians have exploited this loophole for far too long yet they are first to criticize America and support Russia. I refuse to join the band wagon, I had the and opportunity to give birth to my kids in the U.S but gladly refused; they are Nigerians by birth and they will make this country great.
U are right, it is a typical Nigerian thing, we love to enjoy those who worked hard to fix their countries but we dont have the zeal to fix ours. I love what Trump is doing, I wish he can do more. he should make moving to usa more difficult. Nigerians must come and fix the country.

Funny enough how we run to their countries and still insult whites.. grin

see yeye us wey no fit fix country. There is nothing we can build from scratch. Seems God did not give us brain to fix anything from scratch. All we know how to do is enjoy already fixed issues. Lol

[quote author=UncleJudax post=79850084]You get sense jare. Politicians are humans and without being challenged will always do what please them. Democrats need immigrants votes (identity politics) hence their stance against Trump.

Meanwhile Africans would rather die at a Rape-Protest stampede than at a demonstration for good governance.

No strong institutions to hold people (including rapists) accountable

See how FG is using monies that belong to all Nigerians to establish RUGA for Fulanis and not one protest has been organised against it.

[/qu

Wow, smart person u are. I have always said it that politicians are humans and if we don't challenge them, they will always make laws that favour them selves alone. It is like that all over.

A lot of people dont like his rigid immigration polices but heck! He's the president, his country his rules. He has already made his stance on immigration especially from third world countries pretty clear. People need to respect that and stay in their countries or migrate legally to countries with less strict rules.
lol, dont mind those against him.. People in this country will vote for someone like Buhari and find a way run away to countries where dey dont vote for people like Buhari..

people will see issues to protest about, they will not stage any protest but will be protesting for stupid things.. but they want to migrate to countries where their citizens hold govt accountable at all cost. I can remember the French citizens and how they protested and many lost their lives too recently!

E no make sense na. Africans and under developed countries should learn to do like developed citizens did before they got developed. I like Trump. He is doing a good job.

This can't tackle it o. It can't. Those guys are something else. The best is they go to anyone, buy a land, and establish ranch. Simple. So many people are doing it like this and it has worked. If the FG ban open grazing with full force, it will work.

Please and please stop this what is the RUGA settlement made for? Is to see if it could counter the dispute between farmers and Herdsmen. If the killing continues you'll blame the presidency if he tries to solve it you still blame him. Haba! I'm happy no Southern Region was chosen at least we'll have some little peace. Una wahala too much, I smell hate.
Are u for real? Are u joking or simply serious? All FG needed to do was to ban open grazing with full force. The business is a private business and shouldn't be funded with tax payers money. It is so wrong.. Also, history has shown how these fulani herdsmen occupy a territory after some time. This will cause more problems.

Any fulani business man who wants to rear animal should do like others by buying lands and establishing the business.. Simple. How can I be paying for another man's private business?

Yea, have ever seen the description made by Lugard about Nigerians and black race generally? If u read that description he made decades ago, u would understand why the race is extremely under developed.

I will say this, forget sentiments, forget yeye patriotism, blacks are not fit to manage their own countries. Averagely, blacks, Nigerians in particular, cant differentiate between good and bad.

Wish i could lay my hands on Lugard's description of Nigerians, u maybe amazed if u are yet to read it. He gave a perfect description of the black race and Nigerians in particular. He pointed out that a typical Nigerian only cares about the moment, he does not care about tomorrow, he lacks capacity to be organized without strictness, etc. I was shocked becus he was 9%% accurate. Then another white south african said give blacks guns, they will begin to kill them selves, they love sex and alcohol and are unfit to rule them selves. grin

It's actually crazy on the part of FG to cater for cow grazing because it's a private business and herdsmen don't generate revenue nor pay tax to Federation account, on what ground are they being pampered for ? Just tell them to acquire land for grazing from their host communities and get the hell out if the host communities say no, that they don't have lands for you . Majority of them will behave normal if there's no Federal backing for them. Is FG paying shop rents for an Ibo man in Lagos , a Yoruba man in Onitcha or an Hausa man in PH ?
This is why u need a strong national assembly but Tinubu and oshomole have given us ass licking national assembly. As it stands, the FG has set aside fund for this venture. It is crazy. I dont understand. They dont pay revenue to the federation acct, it is so crazy. I have never seen this type of project in my life.

This country is upside down.

Lol, that is how they do. They use this tactics to intimidate opponents, suppress the opponent and most times, the opponent join the party or compromise. It was used during the last election. grin

Any Fulani who defends the murder of the woman, and any Edo guy that defends the murder of this fulani guy....you are all the same .

Barbarians.

This is what happens when people refuse to trust the Police. Yes, the police is not perfect...but they are there for a reason.

Let's not take the laws into our hands...before it spirals out of control...and more innocent people die.

Modified...

I am not defending Fulanis at all....I am just saying that there are better ways to handle crime. Taking the law into one's hands would only make things worse.
Even though i hate what the youths did... I can tell u that people are really tired. The govt is not doing anything meaningful. The FG should completely ban open grazing and anyone who is interested in rearing cows should approach land owners, buy and setup ranch. That is what is done in the world. if the FG or state govt also wants to do cow rearing, they can as well setup ranches. This nonsense is too much. If u live in the villages, u will understand why these guys did this.

The fulani herdsmen are moving with guts. They destroy farm lands which in most cases, are the only source of income to families in those villages. They rape women at will. That is the one that pains me most. Those guys are dangerious and bloody. Nigerians must rise against these guys. They rape women with ease and if u complain, they slaughter u.

The govt has not shown enough will power to tackle this thing becus they are scared of affecting top fulani men in govt. It is all due to tribe sentiment. I know how the govt handled IPOB. The fulani herdsmen crises will scatter Nigeria faster than IPOB would av done.

I am a bit happy becus I sincerely wish Nigeria to be dissolved into stronger regions and weaker central govt, maybe this how God wants to help us do it. If the crises continues, as powerful kings are speak out now, this will surely push the country into existence renegotiation.
