Oma307:thanks bro and also where we are today in the telecom industry is as a result of MTN |
Dear Nigerians, each time I read comments regarding this MTN penalty madness by NCC, I end up wondering if most of the comments were just for fun or realistic opinion of the commentators both on Nairaland and other top social sites. The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC slammed a N1.4 trillion penalty on MTN Nigeria for failure to disconnect customers with unregistered SIM cards. That fine is outrageous please! We have to stop the sentiments. I don't see MTN paying that huge amount of money. They have given reasons why they were reluctant with the SIM card deactivation thing which I believe is credible and reasonable enough. We should not forget that MTN has the largest data base of users in Nigeria and they care so much about their customers more than the unfriendly policy. They wanted a gradual process to the issue which favoured their customers more. Trust most Nigerians, registration of our SIM has always been an issue because of our 'attitudes'. MTN even called some customers, pleaded on many of them and even used free bonuses to encourage subscribers to register and update their SIM but many still refused. That's how we roll in Nigeria Now, deactivating those SIMs would have resulted to severe difficulties for users who had genuine reasons for their inability to update their account. Yes, MTN violated the law but justice can be tampered with mercy. MTN has done so much for this country: from infrastructural development to massive man power empowerment and development. From educational development to massive entertainment industry boost, in summary, MTN corporate social responsibility programmes are highly commendable and among the best in this country. MTN has changed lives in this country: many people can pay their bills because of this same company. MTN has done so much for us and should be respected please.Their (MTN) investments in the telecom sector have affected other telecom giants positively. This embarrassment against MTN should stop please. MTN is not like all these Indian and Lebanese companies that reserve most juicy management positions for their own citizens only, MTN pays their direct workers (Nigerians) very well unlike most of these foreign companies operating in Nigeria i.e ISON BPO. Top management players in MTN Nigeria are Nigerians. I strongly believe they should be respected and the large data base and services the company operates here in Nigeria should be considered too. It's not easy to adhere to such rule while having such data base like that of MTN. For those calling for MTN to leave I laugh in Chinese and Zulu Yes, if MTN leaves Nigeria, it will surely affect the company heavily but we will suffer it more. Our economy will suffer and unemployment will rise. You are calling on Nigerians to port to Glo and others: wait until any of these telecom companies handle the number of subscribers MTN is currently handling, then you will appreciate MTN better...I can bet you, many of them will collapse! They will not be able to handle such huge traffic. Those of you calling MTN names Can you count how many times you have cheated MTN to browse for free? Do you think the infrastructures used for internet services are bought for free? Do you think it is easy to maintain a business in the Nigerian environment with poor power and transportation sectors? Think again please! Don't ever forget that you benefit from MTN directly or indirectly. For those of you crying about MTN promo, did MTN force you into any promo? And most of us don't read terms and conditions of these services and promo from MTN and others. MTN does not force you to subscribe to any of her services. Yeah, some marketing strategies are deployed to lure customers into certain services but it's still left for you to opt-in and opt-out. I can beat my chest to say that since 2009 I started using MTN line, I have never experienced any reason to accuse them of stealing. I rather say thank you to MTN than accuse MTN of stealing from me. Subscribers make the mistake of subscribing for one service or the other and finally accuse MTN of stealing from them. Some subscribers leave their app running on the background while their airtime gets deducted and they blame it on MTN. You're asking DSTV to leave as if it is DSTV that's working against an indigenous company from doing well in the same market. We complain about MTN and we still don't want to leave them, why? Other telecom companies should compete well with MTN or is it MTN that prevented Glo from taking over other African countries? MTN remains the best network in Nigeria and Africa, take it or leave it. The company should be respected and appreciated too. At least, they accepted to invest in the Nigerian telecom industry back then when other companies where shying away from Nigeria. They made the sector attractive. They made the industry lucrative, they believed in Nigeria when others didn't. I love MTN with my whole heart. Please, we should empathize with them instead of slamming them. http://iamkingsleyokoro..com.ng/2015/10/ncc-fines-mtn-nigeria.html |
KaBabs1:lolzz yeah...i thought as much back then I really followed her up....she is still my friend.. got to see her drugs, medical reports and i encouraged her some times...she was not lying at all...remember, i stayed more than 8 months in that place. |
dmola:You are right bro...i really thank God. My day is going on well. Thanks and hope u are doing great too. |
dmola:My brother, u are right o...I swear. It was a narrow escape for real. |
Some guys finished me when I claimed to be handsome in the part 1 of this story. Chai! Nigerians can insult person eh...As ugly as I am, I have my picture on nairaland while some who insulted me can't even upload their pics. Part 2 here we go: When we got to my place, she sat on my bed, I told her to feel relaxed and comfortable. We got there around 3 pm. I powered the generator and asked her to choose her choice movie to watch. All these na to impress her o When I felt she was okay, I left to buy stew stuff. I returned after some minutes. I gave them to her and asked her to go into the kitchen and prepare the stew and rice. Gradually she started feeling relaxed. We watched movies together while she also cooked. The next day, she came around 6pm, she did small clean up and we relaxed to watch movies together. We laughed, joked and she was so relaxed and happy. Around 10 pm, I started wondering if she was going to pass the night: Mehn, how come, I was just thinking but was still comfortable. Around 11 pm, she never made any move to leave. I just told her to freely make use of my bath room any time. She thanked me and went into the bath room. When she came out, I told her to feel free to pass the night if she wanted to. She said no, I repeated 'you're free to stay my dear, we are no longer strangers...' she then said 'thank you' and hugged me. For my mind, I was feeling like a boss who just won big stuff. We continued watching movie. My generator went off around 12:30 in the night. I had my bath, she did same and met me on the bed. It was around 1 am now! We were both silent for a while and I started making the move to make love to her! She was not responding!!! Ahhhhhhh...I screamed within me! I tried everything but she pushed me away! I tried kissing, she didn't even allow my mouth to come close. I was now wondering why she came to pass the night if she didn't want me to touch her sef not to talk of sex with her. I was confused. I asked her why she was not even allowing me to touch her. She then asked me if I had a girl friend and I said yes! I told her I was having a girl friend but our relationship was shaking after 2 years of my faithfulness. I told her everything. She then asked me if I liked her and I said yeah! She apologized for not allowing me to come close to her and that she would tell me everything and why she is running away from me while we were on the same bed, that I should simply listen. She then said my safety was more important to her and I became scared! She then started crying. It was already around 2 am and I was getting worried. She started talking o: She told me she was having so many issues. That she tested HIV positive: my brothers, immediately I heard that part, I shifted completely from her o. She said, she didn't know how it happed. That she was also having spiritual issues, that she do fly in her dream. That she just didn't know why her life turned out that way! Oh my God! I screamed inside. She said she vowed to always make unprotected love to any man who found her attractive: me I was like WTF!!! I was just relaxed and was thanking God within me o, though I was shaking inside. She said, when she saw me, she liked me instantly. That she battled within her self whether to tell me or not. That I looked innocent and kind. That her spirit battled with her: that if she open up to me, I would run away from her and again, she wondered why she would destroy an innocent young man with her disease. She was already crying like she lost her father o. That she just had to tell me so that I will not make the same mistake she made. My people, as at that night, I was only having one condom with me. Why I was so scared was that I was just imagining what could have happened if that babe had allowed me to make love to her: I might lose control and make unprotected love with her, I might use the first condom and later make unprotected love with her, if she had allowed me to even kiss her, we could get deep and I heard one could contract too through deep kissing. God saved me for real. She started begging me not to run away from her that she was on drugs. She started begging me that since she was on drugs, that we could still make love. I said no no oooooo, it's not possible my dear, 'I really thank you for your sincerity'. That I will not run away from her but we can't and can never make love. She wept and wept the more. I was worried with the fact that she cooked for me, that I hugged her, that we laid on the same bed, that we used the sam bathroom. I was scared that I might have contracted it from all these even though I read severally that such can't pass HIV to another party. I was still worried. I was scared. She said she used to fly in her dream!! My people, I ran out of my room that night o. I left her inside. I went to my guy's place. I begged him to allow me sleep in his room, he was wondering what could be chasing me. My friend refused but later agreed to follow me to my place since I couldn't tell him the full gist. We went back to my place and we slept in my room along side with the girl. I even slept on the floor. The girl couldn't believe her eyes. She cried bitterly. I was so scared. The thought that I almost made love with this HIV girl made my heart to scream. As early as 5 am, I started seeing the other side of her kind attitude towards me. If she never liked me, she could have made love to me or even kiss me and you never can tell, we could do this without protection. I wept within me. I began to appreciate her, I thanked her over and over again as I saw her off. She asked me if I could help her out, that she really needed prayers. I told her to visit Enugu for Father Mbaka's Adoration programme. She left that very day to Enugu even though she never visited the place before. We kept communicating, she returned after 4 days. I refused her paying me any visit. I only gave her money before she left and we talked via mobile phone. Fear no allow me rest o after all, I hugged her, she cooked for me, I used the same bed with her: I was still scared, I had to go for test after two weeks or so...hahahahahahahahaha. I narrated my experience with a doctor after the result came out negative: The doctor smiled and told me to be very careful. That I may not be this lucky next time. That I should always be grateful to the lady. My people We just have to be careful. We just have to run away from this issue. Picking up a girl you don't even know anything about is not right. A mentor once told me that cheap girls come with expensive diseases. Since then, I ran away from ladies. If you must do, please, stay with a partner and be faithful. Some guys died after passing night with a strange lady. We have to be careful. I still call the girl once in a while to encourage her. I was really lucky. I'm sorry for the long story. source: http://iamkingsleyokoro..com.ng/2015/10/how-karishika-girl-changed-my-life.html |
udyheart01:thanks bro....i sincerely appreciate eh |
It all happened last year, 2014! I was to serve in Jos but I relocated to Delta state. When I got to Delta state, I chose to serve in Agbor because I heard life there was cheaper and students are always there to make corpers happy ![]() I am handsome, yes, I have heard that a million times. For real, it gets to my head sometimes too. I rented a very beautiful apartment: one of the most beautiful apartments in that area and I moved in immediately. I furnished my apartment to look good and attractive to ladies. My Encounter With a Karishika Then came that very day I met Karishika babe!! Remember, Karishikas are here to kill, steal and destroy you!! It was on a Sunday morning, my very first Sunday in Agbor. I dressed for church service. I was on a suit and I was looking really cute. You might think I was working with a multinational company. After seeing my self in the mirror, I couldn't but thank baba God for my cute look! I left for service without any church in mind since my family church wasn't in Delta state. I agreed with my spirit to enter any church I saw on my way and comfortable with. On my way going, I met a pretty damsel walking to church obviously. I stopped her and told her that I was looking for a church since I just came into the community. She smiled and asked me to follow her to her church. I looked at her again, she looked really beautiful. Sincerely speaking, I had nothing in mind. I went with her to her church which was not far from my place as she described for me. When we got into the church, I sat on a different role while she sat on another role. After few minutes, I realized that she was looking at me. She kept giving me signal to move over to her line, signaling that she got a seat for me. After the embarrassment of her constant signals, I decided to go sit on the seat she got for me. My brothers and sisters, this babe did not allow me to rest in church o, she kept asking me if I was flowing with the message and if I was understanding the message, if I was fine blah blah blah blah! Hmmmm, after service which ended around 11:30 am, she pleaded I wait for her for a while, that she wanted to greet one of the pastors. Meanwhile, there was a brother in the church who kept seeking for her attention but she kept snubbing the young man. I felt for the young man. When the lady finished with the pastor, she came over to my seat where I was sitting like a boss, she apologized for time wasting and said we can start going home. She left the other brother who was waiting for her. Hmmm, women o!! Just because she met one fine guy, she forgot her old male admirer! We started walking home, I introduced my self to her and she introduced her self too. At a point, she pleaded me to follow her to her place to get to know more about the new community I found my self. I was glad! I was still having innocent mind o! When we got to her place, her room was looking neat, it was a single room. The environment was neat. She offered me seat. I sat and we were talking about so many things. I then asked her if she could come over to my place to prepare Sunday rice and stew for me, she agreed immediately and I was shocked. She said she must have her bath first before leaving and I said no wahala! The first bell rang my people: this babe undressed in my front though with her undies on but they were too tiny. I had to move my face away and started operating my phone. She asked me why I was becoming uncomfortable and I smiled and said, I was alright! She then left with her towel to have her bath. When she returned, she creamed her body and I was watching, she was half naked while she did this, I almost crabbed her on the bed but I controlled my urge and respected my bible and within me, I said 'haba, we just left service na'. I couldn't believe a girl I met this morning could be acting like this and she knew she was turning me on. She dressed up in my front too and I saw her body edges and curves. We left for my place! Get ready for the second phase of this life changing story. Each time I remember my experience with this babe, my heart jumps to visit my throat, seeking permission to come out of my mouth. source: http://iamkingsleyokoro..com.ng/2015/10/how-one-karishika-changed-my-life.html |
SirJeffry:Ask me o...the same thing I asked o....some politicians have said worst things and no one arrested them.... |
Dear men/women Please, read this piece! When you live among black people, it does not mean everything is bad but I must confess, there are people with black souls! We all can remember the story of Adam and Eve right? Any ways, God said both of them were at fault!! So, we should forget about that but if I'm to judge here, look, I will free the man and punish the lady! My brothers and sisters, there are still Eves around us o, especially in Nigeria! Sometimes I begin to wonder if the type of ladies sent to Nigeria are of different species! Like seriously, don't try Nigerian ladies! That was how my home boy Phyno (Phyno and I used to gossip about our street girls back then in Enugu before fame and money came and stole Phyno away without doing same to me ), sang one hot song like that with Falz. The two guys were singing from experience. Well, here is the chorus for that song: Karishika "Killer with the flow and nobody sicker The money and the fame now coming quicker Queen of the coast don dey find the nigga Lord save me from Karishika " Dear men, that last line of the Chorus should be your daily prayer o Now, who are Karishika type of girls? Karishikas are ladies who are there to frustrate you, make your life stupid, waste your time, energy and money. Their mission is to sink you just like Eve sank her hubby! These girls are destiny killers! They are here to steal, kill and destroy. Funny enough, they are recording massive success. They are regularly updating their database with names of men who became their victims. I escaped one recently and I will share the experience soonest! No wonder there are so many guys out there who don't even know where they are coming from not to talk of knowing where they are going! No wonder the greatest achievement of many guys remains the countless number of girls they slept with under 10 years! My brother, by the time you will realize where you are, you will need GM of RCCG to fast for you for 40 days. Is your bae a Karishika? Okay, here are characteristics of Karishikas, I'm not saying your bae is a Karishika o! She is madly in love with your money, nothing else matters to her except your money To her, only se..x, se..x, se..x, se..x, se..x, se..x, no plans, no future, nothing nothing and my guy will be forming boss, bro, you're flexing with Karishika o. Her pot is wide, so wide that you are now considering penis enlargement! That babe must have spirit of different babas inside of her. She does not encourage you to invest, further your career, education etc. You're married but she is still 'bedding' you...oga, she is a Karishika o. Today she is beautiful, tomorrow she is ugly, just like that...like she is a spirit... Your heart keeps disturbing you about her Karishika nature...don't argue with your heart, just run. Her dressing usually reminds you of queen Jezebel in the bible. How to deal with a Karishika Once you have noticed she is a Karishika, just run for your life! Best of all, go for those ladies that will surely make you sweat! Those girls that will surely say NO to many things. Fear cheap girls, they sell expensive spirits and diseases! It is not everything skirt that you must spread wide! It's not food. Remember, there are so many Karishikas in Nigeria. Take Note: there are some Karishikas you create for your self, for instance, you woo an innocent girl and she falls for you, you impregnate her and abandon her, you have created a Karishika for your self and it will surely hunt you for life. Kama is real my brothers. We have to be careful of what we do in our youth days. Lord save us from Karishika. - source: http://iamkingsleyokoro..com.ng/2015/10/dealing-with-karishika-type-of-ladies.html#sthash.jjIudEWq.dpuf |
They can only do this to mere stupid lazy black policemen they can't try it with Mopol! Never! blood go flow tire...blood go flow well... Mopol men will just mobolize and teach those soldiers lesson Police get level abeg All these lazy black policemen that don't even know how to carry gun |
oluwaSmith1:Guy, im sure u lack proper education... Nigeria should just grant them their request and they will never ask for any position from Nigeria...so, becus a region chose to vote for another candidate, that is why they shouldnt be given position in the so called democratic society? I strongly believe you dont understand the meaning of democracy. |
djdoxxx:thanks bro, kind words. as for the form, nothing clear for now...when it is ready, it will be made known... |
WETINUSABI:some people just dey give statistics without fact... nairaland shaaa free market place for many jobless people to comment from thier nose instead of brain |
Republlican:smh when will most nigerian girls grow? poverty has really done too much in this country.... i have said it before, it's only in nigeria that women dey form Don Jazzy....no where else.. |
funmijoyb:i cant imagine a lady saying this so your region is london na? lolzzz my dear, forget, nigeria is a mess...it is not about eastern region...it is about nigeria. west is not left out...abi na lagos or ibadan? where u won use brag? nothing for nigeria abeg. |
PentiumPro:That was what they asked for but our Nigeria refused granting them that? They would have stayed on their own na... They are living with us all in the name of unity, the same unity our Nigeria preached and fought for and we are still attacking them for living with us? Why not allow them go? Why not support their quest to secede? Since we don't want them in this 'unity' This is pure irony! |
I don't see Nigeria going any where...A region wanted to secede but the federal govt prevented them and there was a war...I begin to wonder when request to secede became a crime. Now, they posted something for their own memory and some people are here fighting them and I am sure those fighting them are from south too. This is why North we always rule this country. What I don't understand is why Yoruba and Igbo people hate one another so much. You guys don't like easterners and you still don't want them to secede and you laugh over their move to secede. I cry for this country. Why are we like this? You hate something and you don't want it to leave you. What wrong did Igbo people do ? That they wanted to secede from a marriage they think wouldn't favour them? Are they the only region to have done that in this world? And to hold a federal government sponsored troop for 3 years is not a small achievement. Hunger policy was initiated to make the war difficult for them. Now, we are united right? But what have we achieved so far? After many years of unity, we still import paper! Can't we just think or we just want to exhibit hatred? What have we gained fighting one another all in the name of tribalism? If we cant work, we separate, it's that simple. I can assure you guys that the people benefiting from this unity are our politicians. This country is backward because we agreed to live in fake unity. I love a united country but it should be based on mutual agreement and true love. I just don't understand all these. We hate one another and yet we laugh at those who wanted to secede, is that not an irony? If other regions had this zeal exhibited by easterners back then, I think this country would have gone far in terms of development. A region can be technically better than other regions, it's not a crime. If those guys could manufacture some things to help fight the war for more than 2 years, no matter how useless you think the equipment were, we should appreciate their efforts. This means that if they good environment and nurtured that same creativity, by now, they would have been manufacturing more sophisticated equipments. You laugh at Aba made products, it's simply because you wear the uniform of tribalism, because I don't see any reason for that. Aba guys make things out of nothing, they create things outside government supports. Think about it what they could have achieved if they had enabling environment. If we want to live together, we should truly love one another, we hate ourselves, South Africans hate us, white people hate us, Indians hate us, Arabs hate us, Asians hate us, even our brothers in African hate us not to talk of North Africans...this is why we are still like this! We hate one another and others hate us. We have so much but we lack almost everything. Our politicians continue to take advantage of this fault...this fake unity! I am not agitating for break up but we shouldn't condemn those who had the courage to make the first move. A lot would have been corrected back in 1960s, no wonder an Idian man told his friend that nothing can be brought from Nigeria to India and that we import everything. We know all these yet, we attack our selves, abusing people who saw that this marriage won't work far back in 1960. WTF!!... Well, this post will still not make sense to a lot of us because we hide in the uniform of tribalism. We are here fighting one another, while politicians and their children are busy living large. I don't see anything wrong with Igbo people celebrating their forefathers...If this unity had produced development and success, then, we can all laugh at them but the unity didn't produce any development, it's not a success. NYSC was even initiated to enhance unity, now, how many youths want to serve in other regions especially in the north? Can't we think? Cant we think? This country can not make any reasonable development because of tribalism, NEVER! Recently, UK govt carried out a true referendum to know if Scottish citizens wanted to secede from UK govt and it was done mutually and no condemnation. Why is Nigeria's own by fire by force? How many years of marriage with nothing to show for it? Logically, the people that are meant to be laughing are easterners. Do you know why? It's because the so called unity has not achieved anything for this country after decades of forced marriage. Before you start attacking me, ask your self if what I am lying! Your conscience will surely tell you the truth but you will still attack me because you hate truth. Since the marriage must hold, we should try and show love to one another, southerners should stop envying one another...there is no gain in hatred. If we should hate one another so much, we should break up then. |
buygala:hmmm bro...and if any of your politicians die, u will give a dam about it especially those you support? there is something wrong with this country....when people who have failed to make tthings better for us, those who have failed to upgrade the standard of our force men, we still celebrate them and curse the product (forcemen) they manufactured |
guccidriver93k:see bae just dump your boy friend and date me..i will not ask for such for fashion...i will only ask us to invest it and make money for our future..your boy friend no love o..im here for you. |
refreshrate: You're making me laugh each moment I read your follow up comment. Well, you started this nonsense talk and I think you are the very empty one. My brother, I repeat, I don't have any issue with you; it's simple, policemen are bad but not all of them. I can repeat this any where. The links you provided: could that be the 150 million nigerians commenting on that story? One policeman did this or that: have you met all the policemen? I really dont know what your problem is bro: There are many lecturers frustrating female students and misbehaving but does that mean all of them are bad? Does it mean if someone wants to become a lecturer, I will now start descouraging the person because I think lecturing is this or that? Do you know how many ladies who have placed curses on lecturers as a result of their acts? Do you know how many guys had terrible experience in uni all because of one lecturer or the other? My brother, I dont know why you are angry! Policemen are bad but not all of them. There are many of them going about their duties professionally. Well, I wish I can see you in person: writing, writing, writing..hmmmmm, i don't have much to say about that. Just know one thing, you can't match me in my field bro and I have many standard works to reference to. When you compared me to a secondary school student was when you lost my sincere respect. Im not perturbed at all bro. You asked a very important question bro in the concluding part of your comment: you asked if policemen are the only security agency in Nigeria? I will answer you bro: Now, the reason their actions are obvious enough to everyone is because they have the primary assignment of securing lives and properties within Nigeria. Other forces don't really have such functions. I doubt if you can understand this because sentiment has taking over you bro, but try to eh. Many years back, the soldiers were not out of the base the way they are now simply because we didnt have reasons to bring them out except in situations they came out to assist the police force. Now they are out, now that they have taken over some areas as a result of our security problems in the north, there have been many posts here on Nairaland portraying soldiers in dark light. And many people started having problems with them. Many people have condemned soldiers like never before lately. Wait until you give the kind of constitutional powers granted to police to OPC or any other and you will see their true colour bro. Their activities affect Nigerians the more compare to other forces in Nigeria. People are always having issues with policemen...just google 'police brutality in America' and read amazing ugly stories coming out from that part of the world. I did a research on that for a client recently. Funny enough, I never knew until I started the research. My South African friends are complaining too...or do you want to try the Chinese policemen? Bro, their duties make them easily offend citizens. This does not imply that other forces are better bro. If the military takes over the soceity today, I give you one month, you will complain even more. We are not meant to be arguing bro, it's a simple fact, some are bad and some are very kind and professional. Also, Nigerians are very stubborn bro. Your politicians who are killing many Nigerians with their corrupt acts, are they not loved more than policemen? Do you know why? Think about it judging from the reasons I just gave to you. You're my friend bro...no hard feeling. |
refreshrate:Please, you can win the best Nairaland award of the year....lolzzz... you think people that have things to do come to Nairaland like you do and claim experts? Academically, I doubt you can stand my progress (don't even go there)...online writing is not formal my brother...except it's stated. You're too backward bro and if you're educated then, you're a disgrace to standard education. If you can drop that kind of comment and attributes it to all policemen then, you should not count your self educated. You think all policemen are chasing drivers and collecting 100 naira? You think they are all corrupt? You're not logical at all...too sentimental! And you can never learn because you're myopic. Yes, policemen are bad and not all of them are bad bro...there are those who are still serving with their hearts. There are many of them who are professionally doing their job and to think they are not needed in this country only shows that you are covered by sentiments! And to advise someone not join the force because you think everyone curses them only confirms that you are a disgrace to standard education. Bro, I have no case with you, all I'm saying is simple: if someone wants to join any force in Nigeria, don't go about discouraging the person. Don't sit in one corner of your life to claim everyone places curse on them. Don't sit in one area of your life to claim they all chase drivers for 100 naira...that is falacy because there are many of them who don't have time for all these. What you have done is called falacy of generalization. Your type will never see their own error but to complain and complain. The kind of policemen you see only paints a vivid picture of your standard bro. |

niceguy7:so you dont know that they spent money producing phones? |
refreshrate:dont tell anyone not to join any force in nigeria...if you think they are cursed, fine...but dont make another person feel stupid becus they want to join police. |
Ilekeh:you must be a complete street idiot to ever say this aabout a particular region in nigeria. i hate people who speak of a tribe like this. you have to stop this. this is complete stupidity and people even liked it. smh for this country. |

Seriously, people should understand Techno as a brand and what it stands for: Techno has tried for real! Techno forced many brands to consider producing phones for low and mid class earners. Techno gave me my first feel of a tablet device and I enjoyed it for years with good performce. Again, these phones are cheap, you cant buy a phone for 16K and expects it to work like 50K phone. We should be fair to Techno while judging them. Samsung has produced phones that many people called trash in other countries and even in Nigeria. No company is perfect. I have always appreciated Techno for always trying to produce quite a good phone at a good price. These phones can do most of the things you need to do with your smartphone. As for this new phone, hmmm it's really a good device. I know many people who glamoured for a 4G phone by Techno and now they have done that, why not appreciate it for that? Don't always look for something negative about something, you can always combine both and appreciate efforts. The device tried and the price will surely not be like the others. N69, 900, it is on the high side. The truth of the matter is that some people who started with Techo, some people who were down there and didnt know how to buy a smart phone becasue of money but were allowed to feel such smart devices by Techno, most of them have developed personal love for the brand even after their earnings have changed and gone up and are always ready to purchase their premium products. As for me, I use mid end tab but will always love Techno. I have special spot for it. I will be buying one of their top devices soon. It is brand that has done well for her maarket and company. Once again, I say; bravo to Techno for growing from mere chinese brand to quite a popular brand among her lovers. |

. So you're now here in guise of a "Nairalander" to seek for sympathy from Nigerians. Anyways, it's payback time
Now, deactivating those SIMs would have resulted to severe difficulties for users who had genuine reasons for their inability to update their account.

Just thinking aloud!
