FourElements: I knew it's going to be messy when Kanu created ESN equipped with assault rifles without diplomatically and patiently getting the backing of the political rulers, elders and leading business men in the East. This dis-united front exhibited by Eastern stakeholders, created the vacuum that allowed the fulani-controlled FG security agents to confidently move against IPOB/ESN. True, I share same view. It was just annoying. The political leaders in the east are too much of cowards. |

The ESN was interested only on herdsmen ba*tards. They were going to forests to shoot them.. But Nigeria sent security forces againt ESN. The Nigeria's security which is controlled by fulanis and u know, they hated the fact that ESN could have the boldness to challenge the fulani herdsmen, the security forces went after the ESN and killed them in numbers. That injustice angered ESN to fight back.. It is like protesting peacefully and security officials are killing u. U will get tired one day and fight back. It is normal for humans to fight back. 27Pushing30: Centralization means peace... You obviously do not even understand Ethiopian crisis that you are even commenting on which i find funny.
For your information, Ethiopia is decentralized. It is a decentralized Nigeria that led to civil war
Also there is no such thing as "small countries" many small countries will be like going back to the stone age and BC era's where peace was seen as a mirage due to numerous wars and invsaions. Ethiopia was decentralized until the prime Minister started making appointments of his tribe into key central structure alone. Centralization doesnt mean peace. It gives one ethnic group power to lord over other ethnic groups, especially the major ethnic groups. They will revort, period. USA model is best for nation states like Nigeria, Ethiopia. The only thing that may bind them more together is military defense of external forces. |

olaBanks: Good submission.
But does one cut off his own head because he is down with headache?
These pockets of violence is putting Africa into greater mess. After destroying all they can, then the rebels and the state goes into negotiation.
Why not negotiate in the first instance?
Why resort to 'Jumping the Gun approach'! And who need to hear this: War is not lucrative again. We should be much more sensible now. Ask Somali, Eritrea, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan and others how far
If we had an arrangement like 'EU' and Nigeria wants to pull out for instance, just like Britain did, I can comfortably say it for free that it may not be violence free as the case of Britain. Must we fight all the time. Who do us sef
Let's say this again and again, it is better to 'Jaw Jaw than to War War'. The person who refused to negotiate was the Ethiopian prime minister. Most times, those who rebel tried everything possible to negotiate but usually, the African leader controling the armed forces will refuse. That was same issue during the Biafran war. The prime minister started imposing his tribe into key FG units ignoring other major tribes. The major tribe complained and demanded that this should be reverted, he refused. Every effort to get the prime minister into accepting to revert this new development, he refused. The major tribe pulled out of the union. African leaders must learn. Like I always say, over centralization is the major problem facing many african countries with multi ethnic existence. We dont want to accept this. Lol, Africa will keep fighting. Euope fought wars too na. British, France, all of them fought them selves very well in the past until Europe had sense and designed their continent to identify key tribes and grant them soverignty and also ensure that no tribe has monopoly of the country via centralization. Whites always have sense. Immediately u design a system that can allow one ethnic group to lord over other ethnic groups, the minority will likely accept but u see major ethnic groups, they will revort. The same issue why Nigeria has remained unstable. People are calling for dialogue now, people are calling for change of constitution and give room for decentralization now, Nigerian politicians are refusing. One day na day, e go cast patapata. Black man no dey hear word. |

27Pushing30: You cannot pull out of a union just because you lost an election... even within Tigray are you saying a "clan" can also pull out and establish their own country if they wish? yes.. Humans should stop forcing people into all these creations. It should be simply done by willful choice. Africa is a clan based society and the earlier we accept this reality, the better. To avoid all these, build a society that is not centralized What started all these problems was when Ethiopian prime minister started centralizing the country and appointing his tribe into key federal positions. Lol, that can cause war. What Buhari did with nepotism could have caused war anywhere. That is why USA today is not centralized, that is why UK is not centralized. That is why u could see small countries in Europe based on their tribe and language. Centralizing any country in a multi ethinic society is dangerious. No ethnic group would love to be dominated. Nigeria also has to be sincere and stop all these ethnic domination shit else it will surely explode. |

Will they create Jobs with empty hands? Will they create job that in this kind of a toxic and unbalanced economy where foreign exchange alone can eat up all their naira?
Oga think before you spill trash Oga, then don't criticize those who create. That is my point. All most Nigerians see is seek, seek and not create.. That is why they don't see reason when someone don't want to go to Europe or America. I made a thread and said I need an African capital to move to and my priority is peace, stability, electricity. I don't want America or Europe and people talked down at me. Talked down at the choice, why? Because they only see looking for jobs. I created a job for my self. So, for calling me an id*ot. U can see that I'm not. If we have more Nigerians creating sustainable offers for them selves, we will have more jobs. I'm not against anyone seeking for jobs but pls don't talk down at those who are seeking to move to stable countries in Africa. Some of us know how to create. Have a nice day. |
Travel › Re: Which Country Can One Relocate To With ₦3 Million? by Princedapace(m): 1:20pm On Nov 08, 2021 |
Gerrard59: I saw your thread and my best response will be Botswana and Namibia depending on which Internet speed is faster. However, the reality is that most people will always seek jobs and there's nothing wrong with that. Even highly skilled Hong Kongers who accepted the UK's offer of citizenship and are currently in Britain are seeking jobs. Everyone cannot be an entrepreneur. Now, those stable African countries have ridiculously high unemployment rates. After Namibia is Nigeria on the unemployment ranking globally. Same for Botswana and even Ghana. There's a serious unemployment issue across Sub-Saharan and tech isn't the only solution. So when folks are interested in those countries but ask for employment opportunities, they are right in doing so. When compared to Poland where jobs are readily available, it's not surprising why they omit African countries. Also, your aspect of entrepreneurship can be suited in those stable African countries not others who might require high end machinery, huge land for cultivation or sophisticated.
Regarding Ghana, I would rather recommend countries in Southern Africa because they are farther away from Nigeria. I say so because the day Nigeria will implode, which will happen very soon, the aftermath will be felt across West Africa. What happened in Afghanistan and Syria will child's play to what will occur in West Africa's budding Afghanistan. I don't have problem with anyone seeking jobs bro. I only have problem when people talk down at those who are interested in migrating to a stable african country. It makes no sense. I made it clear that I wasn't looking for job. I just want peace, electricity, stability, that is all. And that I just want Africa. Then u have people who will look at u like are u okay? The truth of the matter is Africans must learn to create. That is the only way they can create more jobs. Govt don't create much jobs. They only create the environment for citizens to create jobs. The more jobs citizens create, the more employment they offer. It hurts me seeing people talk down at u because u chose to create. And like i said, many of these Nigerians don't even have competent skills or profession to offer. That is why they end up becoming a problem to many of these societies they migrate to. We need to encourage our seleves to create. |
Travel › Re: Which Country Can One Relocate To With ₦3 Million? by Princedapace(m): 12:45pm On Nov 08, 2021 |
Gerrard59: The problem with most of you Nigerians is that u just want jobs. Guy, if u live in a stable country with electricity, good roads, security, go and create a job. All you Nigerians are looking for where to pick a job. Go and create a job pls and stop stressing any country.. This is why I will always prefer a stable african economy to any developed worlds. I create jobs and not seek for job. Seeking for jobs mounts pressure on any country.. Creating jobs help. The only reason I don't like Nigeria is her instability. Aside that, there are stuff to create and move. The black man is kinda struggling because he can't create. Every time na jobs una dey look for. And worse part is that majority of these people always disturbing us with "is there job there?" don't even have any competent skill or profession. They are people with almost zero value to add to any society. That is why Chinese go to where u guys can't go. Because the Chinese aren't always looking for jobs. They are looking for where to invest. The average black person is mentally weak that is why he can't create. Always looking for who Wil give him something.
Reality is that there's no country globally where there are more employers than employees. People would seek for jobs. The onus is creating an enabling environment. The reason you're successful is because you're in the digital space not someone who decides to go into manufacturing or agribusiness as that will entail serving a populace that's effortlessly poor.
Nigerians must be taught how to create and solve problems. I'm a Nigerian and I have decided to create and solve problems.. And I'm considering leaving Nigeria because of the security tension here. I'm only considering stable african cities..
All I need is stable electricity, water, good roads, security, I'm okay.
Trust me, if Nigeria had those features, most of us wouldn't leave or desire to leave the country. You left because of insecurity, what if I told you that I declined investing into the agricultural sector because of marauding Fulani herdsmen? I rather work for Biogen than invest money into a venture where Fulani islamists will destroy my investments.
Allow those who want to flee Africa to do so. Mind you, most of these seemingly stable African countries have ridiculously high unemployment rates - Botswana, Ghana, Namibia etc. I admire them but the vast majority of their citizens are unemployed and please don't come with the "create jobs mantra". Everyone cannot be an entrepreneur! My point is this.. People talk down on African countries without knowing that these stable african countries are goldmines now. Because the average Nigerian doesn't have much value to give, he only sees looking for jobs. Traditionally, I read mass communication. Today, I operate in the tech world. My head is full of ideas and I'm lunching my first application next year. U can be in a stable country and mill people in developed worlds. I don't have problem with anyone seeking for employment. My problem is how majority of Nigerians see those who seek to be in a stable developing African country as f*ols. Like once it is not America or Europe, u are seen as f*ol because the average Nigerian thinks of looking for jobs..not too many thinks of creating jobs. That made me write this comment. I made a thread asking which African capital that I can migrate to. I stated that I wasn't looking for jobs. I just want security, stability and peace of mind with basic things like electricity, water, road, and sanity. People bounced on me on why I didn't choose America or Europe and talked down at my choice. Made no sense at all. Some of us aren't looking for jobs we just want where we won't get kidnapped |
