PoliticsRe: Presidential Election, 16th April, 2011 by Princek12(m): 3:05pm On Apr 16, 2011
Yea. Since Buhari is self-proclaimed anti-corruption champion, he should go to the EFCC to use his talent. He has no business in the presidency. He is intellectually inept to lead Nigeria to the promised land. This Buhari  says privatization is not the key to PHCN. He wants to keep doing the same thing that has not worked for 50 years.

Buhari is not change. How can an ex-military dictator whose coup subverted a democratically elected Shagari be change? Use your head, people. When I was young I remember Buhari being president. I don't want to hear his name again. I am sick of old names--Buhari, Babangida, Obasanjo, etc. When will we as a country move forward and give FRESH MINDS a chance? Damn!!!!!!

I am tired of Northerners phucking up our country. For 38 years, they have phucked us up with their illiteracy and extremism.

RomanceRe: God is love by Princek12(m): 1:12am On Apr 16, 2011
Run for your life. If you don't, he will eventually kill you. I am blunt and straight forward person. If you think he loves you and you are staying in the relationship despite knowing that he wants to kill you, then maybe you deserve to be killed.

Run for your life. He does not love you. He will not change. He is controlling and possessive and envious of you. You will eventually DIE, as in he will KILL you, if you don't leave now.

Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, there is nothing that will make my day more than to see a youtube clip of these 2 women being hacked to death with matchetes.

I want to see the cutlasses slashing their flab and them wailing in agony before petrol is doused on their remains.
Pls take it easy on the ladies ooo. Maybe she was voting her grandchildren and unborn great grandchildren, and all her descendants. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
But it is phucked up that such rigging is still going on. I am eager to hear what Jega has to say about this video. It is a shame on the entire country.
PoliticsRe: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by Princek12(m): 11:57am On Apr 15, 2011
Unlike how they did in the other thread about the Buhari corruption, the Buhari supporters here are not criticizing Seun for posting this video. But this video is a shame to Nigeria. This is the height of election fraud.

That lady voted for the entire community. But let's give her a break. Maybe she was voting for her children, grandchildren, and unborn great grandchildren.
FamilyRe: Girls Age And Marriageable Age: Is This True Courtship? by Princek12(m): 12:46am On Apr 15, 2011
Why do you want girls to preserve themselves when, everywhere you look, every guy wants to be a kokomaster? To add petrol to the fire, these guys are even buying phones from kokomobile. It is koko something. Only God will help us.

Every girl also want to be a blackberry babe. So when you combine kokomasters plus blackberry babes, all you get is kokoberry couples.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Broke Into Tears by Princek12(m): 2:06pm On Apr 14, 2011
The North has ruled Nigeria for 38 out of 50 years and have nothing to show for it. What I see in this election is that Northerners are displaying a sense of entitlement to Nigeria's presidency and are not going out without a fight. Illiteracy is rampant in the North, as many of them reject education because they claim it is "Western and secular," supposedly in contravention of Sharia.

Others have contended that PDP has also shown nothing for 12 years, but they do not realize that PDP is controlled by the North, and Jonathan was just made a VP to Yaradua so as to create a sign of diversity in government.

My point is that why do we want to return power to the same Northerners, especially a former military general, who have destroyed this country for 38 years. No matter what people say about Jonathan, he is doing a lot to create a sustainable Nigeria, more than Northerners have done in 38 years. Even though some claim that PDP is corrupt, which may be true, but Buhari and the other Northern allies are also corrupt, too. Buhari is a candidate representing the entire North, and he owes allegiance, first, to the North and, second, to Nigerians.

At the end of the day, in my opinion, all the candidates in this election are useless, but I think it is time to err  on the side of at least giving a person from another part of the country power. The North has had it for too long and are now trying to "reclaim" a position they think rightly belongs to them, which is cause for paranoia.

PoliticsRe: Benin Ore Road Has Been Fixed!(Some pictures) by Princek12(m): 12:46pm On Apr 13, 2011
Poster, if you want me to applaud Jonathan for resurfacing a road, then waka. You must be crazy. When Jonathan completely overhauls our nations interstate roads into at the very least four lanes (I would prefer eight lanes) then I may think of applauding him.

Before I applaud him, Jonathan has to put in place a system that furthers a complete overhaul of our nations interstate road system, whereby all the lanes in our expressways are expanded into six to eight lane, world-class expressways, fitted with rest areas and law enforcement outposts.

To expect me to applaud a "patch, patch" work is to expect me to celebrate mediocrity, and, while a give Jonathan partial credit (equivalent to a C or D grade) for his "okrika" work, don't come here asking for us to give him a round of applause. Sege.

I don't see why some people don't get it, as in why they are using the imperialism theory to justify the actions of a brutal dictator who had not only refused to conduct elections since 2005 but had also killed hundreds of Ivoriens who dared to publicly criticize him. Some of these people are even saying that Ouattara's victory will not please the minority that voted for Gbagbo. That argument misses the point. They forget that  essence of any election is to sit the candidate who earns the majority vote. These people have also failed to offer an alternative.

Their argument would be the equivalent of a hypothetical Nigerian election where a candidate, say Buhari, wins a free and fair election with 60% of votes, while Jonathan earns 40% of the votes. Further, that because 40% of the candidates who supported Jonathan in this hypothetical election would be displeased at Buhari's victory, Jonathan as the incumbent should now cancel the entire election, hold the entire country hostage, kill any public supporter of the opposition, and cause a de facto civil war rather than handover peacefully. All Gbagbo had to do was to handover to the winner of a free and fair election.

Even assuming for argument sake that the election was rigged in favor of Ouattara, which we all know not to be the case, the right thing to do was to handover and challenge the results of the election in court. The executive should not unilaterally refuse to cede power to the purported winner of the election. And judging by Gbagbo's track record of failing to hold elections since 2005, it is hard to give any thing this man says any weight, as he has behaved like a Ghadafi-like dictator who wants to cling unto power at all cost.

How were they able to get him out of his bunker?

Can someone tell us?
they probably had informants tell the French special forces the location of the bunker. They probably killed all his guards who did not surrender, restrained the ones who surrendered, put a gun to the back of their skull, and told them to open the bunker. This is typical special forces mission. As you can see, all his guards, including Gbagbo, are meek and weak fools who did not fight till the death. All they can do is intimidate defenseless civilians; but when confronted with a well-trained army, they give up like sisis.

Reading some of the reponses to this invasion led by Sarkozy and supported by the so-called black American president, I am stunned. We are doomed as a people if we will always be applauding imperilasits in this manner. . Very frightening. If we cant see the fact that the french are in this for the newly discovered Ivorian oil and the cocoa, then we are finished. The french are now fighting for democracy? The same way they are doing so in Burkina faso with Compaore who has been in power since 2007? And Eyadema and Bongo, two french supported leaders who succeeded their fathers after they died in power? Do you guys remember that Bokassa was imposed by the same french? How about Biya?  This was the same thing the french did in Rwanda; arm the Interahamwe, support them to kill the Tutsis. Immediately the killings began, the french went in and took all westerners away, leaving the Africans to fight to finish. Yet it was the french that trained the Hutu soldiers. I am lost of words. CNN and BBC have killed my people.

The best resolution for this conflict should have been a government of national unity. It was a very devided election and the results were rigged in the north.  Hate him as much as you can, but the fact is that Gbagbo had legitmate reasons to claim his post. He had issues with the elections and followed that up constitutionally. To save African lives, since ethnicity was the main factor behind the squabbles,  a government of national unity would have been a good option. That would have helped save many lives that have been lost recently not to talk of the lives that will be lost as this crises starts to get worse. I am not worried that the french always like to invade countries. Afterall they tried that in Vietnam and were pounded roundly. Since then , they left Asia alone. I am rather so disappointed that Africans follow the western press to lynch their own. The Asians and South Americans have broken away from western imperialism because their people have started pushing back. But my people will always tell you; CNN said this, Aljazeerah said that, I heard it from the BBC so , that means it is right. It is now a cultural fad to depend on western propaganda machines for information! sigh. Looks like our independence is still far away. SMH
What alternatives do you suggest, then, had the French not removed Gbagbo? Please be logical and reasonable and succinctly state what should have been done.

Sweet T:
I don't like how they are showing Gbagbo On the TV. West has an habit of embarrassing African leaders at the slightest Opportunity they get. I don't like this at all.
That fool embarrassed himself; the West did not embarrass him. And even if he were embarrassed by the West, that serves him right. That should hopefully send a message to would be dictators or other incumbent politicians who may be thinking of hanging unto power despite losing an election. This cancer of dictatorship needs to be eliminated from Africa.

He lost the election; he should get his mudafroggin behind out of office and let peace reign. Phock all his militia. I hope Gbagbo is tried in a court and convicted of all the atrocities he committed.

That bhasthard called Gbagbo has hung on to power since 2005, refusing to hold elections. When he finally lost he refused to leave, which is all too typical of African leaders. Haba, why is it always Africa. Hopefully this will send a message that Africans themselves are tired of dictators. And that some fool will not intimidate his citizens with some stupid militia just to hang on to power. And when a well-trained military storms his compound, he is too scared to fight to the death, signaling how weak and meek he is.

, what all pro GEJ agents forget is that the results of the elections were already in the public domain before the final declearation by the returning officers. There was absolutely nothing the agents of darkness could do about it. There was a guy who wanted to cause trouble in my polling unit, he was scared to his pants when he saw people bringing out their cameras to take his picture, I didn't see his face till the end of the election. The was even a state wide brodcast in Oyo state were the pdp asked all their supporters not to wear any party branded items because they knew the people were prepared to record and take pictures of any incident. I give the outcome to the election to the doggedness of the Nigerian spirit that couldn't be intimidated or taken for a ride!
One problem many Nigerians have, as shown from the comments on this thread, is giving credit to whom it is due. So the results of the June 12 were not in the light when IBB annulled it? When OBJ rigged Yaradua into power, what did Nigerians do? Nothing. Give credit to whom credit is due, and stop feigning ignorance to the fact that GEJ has given us a free and fair elections. You are acting as if Nigerians would have taken to the streets had GEJ rigged the elections. As usual, Nigerians would have cried foul, complained, and gone about their business thereafter. But the status quo--crying foul without taking any concrete steps such as rioting to remove the source of the corruption--would have remained unchanged. This "doggedness of the Nigerian spirit" you claim would have done nothing to subvert GEJ's PDP regime had he rigged the elections in his party's favor.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Has Shown He Can Be Trusted! So He Still Gets My Vote by Princek12(m): 8:18pm On Apr 10, 2011
It is funny that I was thinking about the same thing when I saw this thread. If Buhari were president, I am sure his win at all cost mentality will motivate him to rig elections in his favor.

GEJ needs to be applauded. This is unprecedented in Nigeria's history, where Nigerians are clamoring to news outlets to watch the results of a free and fair election and shouting that they are making change through the ballot.

If you vote for Alhahi Buhari, he will revert Nigeria back to dictatorial, old-school, military-regime politics. Our voting should be guided by the maxim, "forward ever, backward never."

ROFLMAO!!!

Open your eyes . . . Much of the Islamic world is already Sharia-ized! I don't need to speak for them . . . . they have been doing that boldly, and loudly too!!! That you are centuries late in discovering this is not about me. Even those in the UK already got the UK governnent to give them Sharia. I hope at some point, you will stop dancing around and accept your fault here. . . lol

Sure you have . . . and rather than attack them, condemning a man who himself has only proclaimed the belief that most all others who are of his religion, also believe is the one you choose to attack why?

Again . . , Preach to yourself on this one and stop fishing for silly excuses for the statements you have made so far on this.
point out the specific provision in the U.K. Constitution, or any statute, that allows for the creation of Sharia courts in both criminal and civil cases. You don't know what you are talking about.

And so your point is that they are trying to make Nigeria like the Islamic world. And the countries that practice Sharia courts do so wholeheartedly and do not have a Constitution that guarantees the freedoms that are inimical to the principles of Sharia. On the other hand, in Nigeria, our Constitution espouses certain fundamental rights guaranteed to, for example, criminal defendants, while, in the same document, allows for the provision of Sharia law whose principles contradict the very same fundamental right it purports to guarantee.
Now tell me if that is not foolish.
Just like Buhari and all those illiterates we have in power, you are probably not going to understand the implications of what I just said, which is why we need not vote illiterates and religious extremists to power.
