spyder880: Futhermore, I held some meetings with investors that wants to partner with me on an expanded project of building an estate.

On my own also, I have been exploring possibilities since begining of the week to change the way I operate. My previous plan to start buying lands and building homes for sale is nearing fruition. If I must make much changes in the housing sector in this country, I will need to move to the next level, so help me GOD.cool
Will like to know and hear more about this.

Lakayana: Dude? Hmmm you this chauvinist you assume it's only men we have on Nairaland God help you.
Wait a second, you're running your dirty trap on me because am not jumping and dancing over one 1937 wedding picture that doesn't make a single change in anything not to talk of anyone's life?
Your mom should've swallowed like she did with her other clients instead of wasting 6 months carrying you! You might have turned out better than this if she was able to carry you close to 9 months! Dudeeeee! Satan help you.
CelebritiesRe: Picture Of Chief Obafemi Awolowo On His Wedding Day To HID Awolowo by princeonx: 4:37pm On Feb 02, 2013
dayokanu: So Awolowo had a real wedding unlike ojuku who was molesting underaged girls, having Hausa concubines and living a generally irresponsible life
It's funny and amazing how a lot of people expect something good to come out of Nigeria while the damn country is filled with things/$h!t like you!

maximobis: ...hahahaha..tell me, what year did you dropped out of high school, because, i don't know where to start. so, you fit carry 95 years old live? chei lol!
Ol'boy hope you're not one of those people that claim books spoiled their brain while the writer/authur of the said book is fine, alive, and ok? People get heart transplant and sometimes it can be that of a 60yrs old going into a body of a 10yrs old! You might be right! i havent heard of donors that old (100+). This is not my field so i wont beat back and front with you but if anything in me will kill me and doctors find a better/working one in a 200yrs old person, I will gladly take it!
CelebritiesRe: Picture Of Chief Obafemi Awolowo On His Wedding Day To HID Awolowo by princeonx: 4:08pm On Feb 02, 2013
Lakayana: Have some respect am sure by 1937 your grandparents have not seen wedding attires
And what difference did your father and grandfather that saw and slept in one made in life?
Dude get a brain even if its used or rebuilt! Awo's wedding picture is the least thing anyone want to see! Might make sense to A55h0£€s like you but it has no single impact on anything! Ok?

I don't know how it's done where you are. Here in the US, they ask and if you agree to donate, they simply endorse your I.D or drivers license and if yawa gaz, the Doctor will just remover the damn thing from your body before they hand your remain to your folks!

PoliticsRe: Nigerians In Foreign Jails: Who Is To Blame? by princeonx: 2:38pm On Jan 31, 2013
BayoAA: Today the House of Rep. debated on the issue of Nigerians in foreign jails. With several news lately about this issue and debates here and there, I will like to know who is to be blamed for their misfortune? Victims (if they can be called so), government, parents or society?
Share your view.
I blame the Op for some half baked thread. Is you question referring to those in jail for drug crime, violence, expired visa, theft, domestic violence, or what? There are many reason why a foreigner can be in foreign jail.
To some of you guys post I simply smdh! Can't believe some of you blame all the way to God for someone being in jail. Some blame Nigerian embassy that you the Nigerian didn't register with or made known your presence in the first place, others blame or rather claim most travelers are fools since they can't read and understand simple: Issue date January 01, 2012, Expires March 30, 2012. Every possible excuses just to defend crime! All from a country and people with the most churches and mosques in Africa if not the world. Some of you even claim people are thrown in jail for their skin colour! Why botter giving the visa then in the first place? Or where you white when they issued it! I pity this country Nigeria and the kind of mentality most of us have!

gluv01: Wow...this is wonderful

A series of pencil drawings by a north London artist has been amazing art critics.

Kelvin Okafor, from Tottenham, has scooped a number of national awards and exhibited art galleries across the country.

The 27-year-old Middlesex University Fine Art graduate's drawings are often mistaken for photographs.

Sarah Harris reports.

He is from Nigeria but stays in Tottenham. His art works are usually mistaken for photos. Fantastic art works. One of his art work or any is sold for £10,000 which is approximately #265,000 in Nigerian currency. That is the minimum amount especially depending on who or what he is painting. If he is to paint the queen of England it should be a higher amount. And to the surprise of people, his work sells quickly and to a lot of people. Very profitable I must say. cheesy (hehehehe ...these yankee babes go start wetin them sabi now, he'll look more attractive to them now. Wish he was my bf, just kidding o please.)
Meet Kelvin Okafor, an amazing artist whose drawings most people insist are photographs.

Use it if you like it! Don't worry about people and their follow follow attitude. I hate when i instruct my brother or suppervisor about what i want and they reply "people no dey use am again! or na so everybody dey do am now" am not people or everybody and i do what i like and can afford. Terrazzo is definitely what I will use for my house in the villa.
TravelRe: UK Illegal Immigrants ‘May Get Amnesty To Stay’ – Sky News by princeonx: 3:58pm On Jan 28, 2013
Freiburger: It's like sending a signal saying, come to the UK, try to live there illegally and at a certain time you will be granted amnesty to remain. How rediculous.
People will always migrate legally or otherwise, signal or no signal. Granting all those 300+ thousand people legal stay or denying it will not stop migrants from still going to UK. Life as an illegal immigrant is 110times better for some and their family than even their own country

spyder880: I am also interested in knowing the answer, @ my men Prince_onx, Jussi, you are in the best position to tell us o cheesy
Also @Egin,
Kopell has pretty much answered the question and I would also buy the quality tiles in naija than import from here except if am loading a container and just decided to buy them from here. You have more advantage buying in naija if its the quality tiles because you will have them readily available to install compare to waiting almost 2 months and also risk some being cracked on arrival.

Jussi: My Oga, happy new year o grin I don't need to ask because I know yours has also reached advanced stages?

Big bros, thank you so much ooo for letting us to sit at your table. May God continue to bless and keep you and your family. The dressing has now been completed at my site & electrical work is currently ongoing. Bros, the finishing chops a lot of money. I'm still expecting to find someone who would be loading a container from the US, to help me load up some tiles & grout. I'll show some pictures of our little progress later.
Where in the US do you live? I live in Ohio but Presently in Newark NJ loading one which should be heading to Bayoune NJ port tomorrow. Will be your lucky day if you live in NY/NJ and have your tiles ready to go! If not, contact Impex worldwide shipping co in Sayreville NJ. They do group/shared container. That is if you are in NE. Cheers

jites: moreeee making steady progress and my belle is just sweeting me, the truth is i never ever thought i would one day embark on a building project men of God dedicating the foundation- except the LORD build the house the builder build but in vain. Also, taking a clue from Spyder, i instructed them to dig the suckaway and used the sand for some filling, saving some cost there. Please excuse the bum crack of the guy carrying the block.
@ Prince_onx no vex that i am starting with the BQ i know you said i should just start with the bungalow, but i promise i will complete all of them one by one ans smal small by small small by the grace of GOD. no body dey pursue me and na small small dem they drink hot pepper soup, as long as they dont give me preliminary and sub preliminary cost lol
Vex ke? Noooo! I am very happy you finally took the hardest/toughest step in building especially for first time builders on a budget and that is starting in the first place! I recalled how confused I was when I bought my own land. I wasn't sure if I should start with a BQ first or the main house! I wasn't sure if the main house should be a two flats 3 bedroom bungalow or a story building of 4 flats! And finally I know i can but wasn't sure how long the project will take me to finish cux I don't want to spend 10yrs building one house but today am glad and happy I started in the first place. Thanks to guys like Spyder who made building so simple in the eyes of folks like me/us. Glad to hear and see that you have kicked off and God will see you through and by the time you know it, you're done with this one and planning on your main house! Good job men and welcome aboard!
