CrimeRe: Female ' One Chance' Thief Arraigned In Lagos by princeonx: 3:16am On Mar 01, 2013
ghostofsparta: The origin of the term One Chance is unknown but I think it was dubbed One Chance because it is another mode of robbery simply define as- The luring of any unsuspecting commuter into a supposedly registered/licensed buses passed off as the usual, normal ones. They are mostly danfos which is why it is difficult for the police to eradicate the criminality. The origin of the term One Chance is unknown but I think it was dubbed One Chance because according to urban legend, it takes a victim one chance to decide entering a bus or having a rethink given the alarming rate of criminality back then in Lagos roads. It's origin can also be rooted in the fact that bus conductors are known to shouts their destination e.g. ”Oshodi one more chance" when marketing the available vacant seat before take off. From my little research regarding the One Chance phenomenon, I realised that it crept into Lagos from Warri and the likes since it was endemic there, speculatively stating.
Research abi experience? Lol

What determines a real MOG is not the church poster but the heart.

afroxyz: It is normal for people to respond the way you guys are doing, but any student of culture would understand the intrcacies in the act. The boy is standing in place for his grandfather who never had a white wedding. As such, the boy is merely a stand-in person for the grandfather to complete the ritual (for whatever purpose not explained). It can be likened for a relative standing in for someone getting married. The boy is not 'married' persay to the woman.

Abrantie: What benefits does she have in third world Nigeria? If anything, she used and dumped him for whatever reason, and he's getting back at her.
Have you ever heard the term life insurance? Most married people even those doing it for runs have life insurance! Some just buy one simply to use the insurance document for immigration and other benefit! Now in this case, do you expect the guy to just forget about the benefit even if the marriage was runs? I don't think so! And marrying the guy also qualifies her to file and be a citizen of his Country too so this is not about naija benefits if any ofcox.

Abrantie: This is what I call 419.

She capitalized on her husband's oyibo name, bleached her skin and the whole of Nigeria fell for her act because y'all just love everything white.

Look, most times, BLACK is damn beautiful you know.
The guy is reciprocating now! Or you think he's posting those wedding pictures online for fun? That man will fight for every single benefits available attached to losing a spouse!

Business must be real bad then! I see the reason behind your frustration! Tell your mom I said hi and that my knots still itch but I'll be fine. Seriously though, she should've swallowed like she did her other clients instead of having you! But all the same, $hit happen.

Godogwu: Please don't bring baseless beliefs based on sentiments into this place. Poverty is increasing while the middle class is growing stronger and larger? GDP is growing a poverty is increasing? ..... I keep saying this; the fact that your life has remained stagnant for 20 years doesn't mean that people aren't moving forward.
Oh now you want to jump into another topic? You still didn't answer or finish the first one or question. Or are you saying Nigerians should be grateful because Somalia is poor? Or because Sudan is underdeveloped? What'a 4ck was your point? Answer the damn question instead of switching to some middle class and GDP that you know nothing about.
A Nigerian is complaining about how bad life and things are in Nigeria and you suggestion was for them to move to Somalia, Chad, Sudan etc.. What was you point?

What time is it in naija? You won't be here if you have a job. And guy its better to be a slave in foreign land than in your own land! It's a cause that both God and satan forbids for a Nigerian to be a slave in Nigeria!
PoliticsRe: A Letter To Nigerians In Diaspora by princeonx: 9:47am On Feb 14, 2013
Godogwu: Nitwit! When comparing try and compare Nigeria with te other third world nations why didn't you move to Somalia, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, India, Venezuela, chad, etc than compare Nigeria to your glorious first world nations. Obviously anyone driving a Bentley would get angry even if he was given a very tricked out Toyota or Honda and the Bentley taken away from him. So why not go these countries i mentioned then tell me how exactly you'll look at Nigeria from there.
Bros, what do these Countries you listed have compare to Nigeria? Is China not a 3rd world country? Only Lagos state is richer than some of them but they have amenities that Nigeria as a whole don't even have. A child from a poor family only ask for Chicken during festival while the rich kids argue about what color of cow to buy. Nigeria is not a poor country and deserves better which was the reason for the Op frustration of those living outside Nigeria. The poverty level is naija is increasing the hatred its people have on fellow Nigerian living outside! And some of you wonder why some NID don't like coming/visiting Nigeria.

jennykadry: All it will take you is a trip to an embassy to get your visa. Don't hate on me darling. grin

No mind them. Nonsense upon ingredients. Anytime I want to visit naija an so I dey fear. I can't even catch a taxi from airport to my house, I not fit even leave airport until I see a family member inside the airport. I don't go out for the first few weeks for fear of being robbed. Yet one eediot will tell me to be proud of my country, which country? Even as a citizen of this country I used to travel with my Nigerian passport, the way customs scrutinize my passport sef, tire me. My husband uses his foreign passport so also my kids, but na me go stress try use my Nigerian passport, get a visa and na me go be last to clear for customs. After the numerous incidents I carry my naija passport go dump inside my box where cobwebs go kill am. Carry my other passport and no problems with customs at all. I am fully covered overseas with that passport, tell me how nigeria protects its citizen?

Nonsense
Suffering and smiling is what they call it!
It baffles me how in today's world with every improvement going on in similar third world countries like Ghana, SA, and adding China will be pushing it and someone will log on here from naija of all places to bash The US of A!
