Pls let me correct this impression , the Model number of generator is not base of the capacity, like for example sumec firman has SPG 1800, SPG1900, SGP2200, pls be aware all are with same KVA, but they will tag SPG2200 as 1.8 KVA to 2kva which is not true, and tag SPG1900 and SPG 1800 as 1.5kva which is still not true, like I said we all think the higher the number in model number the higher the kva is no no no. U found out the SPG 1800 SPG 1900 and SPG 2200 or ECO1990 are all the same KVA and, but that of 1800 is kind of small a bit which u will not notice in their working or in terms of load to power,cos 1800it uses a piston cup size of (154) which the hp supposed to be 2.0 to 2.5hp but the coil (alternator will be 1kv to 1.2kva), while the 1900 and the 2200 has same size of piston cup, the size is 156 which supposed to be 2.5-3hp with same KVA alternator with 1800, now they sell 1800 and 1900 same price but 2200 is been sold higher because they increase the kva and Hp in writing. But 1900 and 2200 are with same engine components and coil size but they will tag 1900 1.5k but tag 2200 1.8kva - 2kva.
