Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has approved the reappointment of Mr Abba Anwar as his Chief Press secretary.


The Public Relations Officer, Office of Secretary to the State Government, Malam Uba Abdullahi, made this known in a statement on Wednesday in Kano.

He quoted the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman as saying that the appointment took effect from May 29.

According to him, the governor commended Anwar for the effective and efficient handling of his responsibilities in his first tenure of the administration.

He said that the governor, however, urged him to continue with the good work for the success of the new administration.

The Federal Government said on Tuesday that it had begun to establish “Ruga Settlements” for herdsmen in 12 pilot states nationwide, Igbere TV reports.


Alh. Mohammadu Umar, the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, made this known in an interview in Abuja on Tuesday on the sidelines of a workshop on Regional Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and associated legislation in West Africa.


He said that the farm settlements when fully established would address the incessant clashes between Fulani cattle rearers and farmers.


Umar explained that the pilot programme had already commenced on a 31,000-hectare in Kotongora, Niger state.


According to him, the required facilities for a basic life and treatment of cattle are being provided to enhance productivity.


He said that the government would replicate the programme in selected states as work “is ongoing in the 12 pilot states”.


According to him, six settlements will be established in each of the pilot states.


Umar, who added that the centres would be expanded and adequately equipped, and assured the beneficiaries that government would do all that was necessary to enlighten the herdsmen on how the use of ranches could make make cattle rearing more profitable.


He said that the government would sensitise the herdsmen to the social and political benefits derivable from such settlements.


The permanent secretary explained that various spots would be established for the pastoralists to be able to milk their cows.


He also said that dispensaries would be established to prevent the misuse of antibiotics.

The Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye has expressed optimism of becoming governor of the state by November, Igbere TV reports.


Igbere TV reports that Melaye declared that he would be the governor of Kogi State in November when the gubernatorial election will hold.


In a post on his Instagram page, Melaye wrote: “I will be Governor of Kogi State by the special Grace of God.


“knowing yourself is the very foundation of all wisdom.”


Melaye had recently declared his intention to run for the highest office in the state.


The lawmaker had made the declaration during a meeting of Kogi West PDP executives held at his country home in Aiyetoro Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area of the state.


His media aide, Gideon Ayodele, while making the disclosure, said his boss spoke during the meeting, which was held at the residence of Gen. David Jemibewon (rtd), an ex-Service Chief.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has approved the appointment of eight Special Advisers, Igbere TV reports.

Chief Judge of the Federal High Court has transferred the trial of former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, charged with alleged N6.9 billion fraud, to a new judge, Igbere TV reports.


Igbere TV understands that the case will now be heard by Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke.


The transfer of the case from Justice Mojisola Olatoregun followed a petition by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), seeking its transfer.


EFCC on October 22, 2018 arraigned Fayose, alongside a company, Spotless Investment Ltd, on 11 counts bordering on fraud and money laundering offence.


Fayose pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail on October 24, 2018, in the sum of N50 million with sureties in like sum.


The prosecution opened trial on November 19, and had so far called 13 witnesses out of 15 listed.


A former minister of state for defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, was one of the witnesses called to testify against Fayose.

Some natives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have condemned a statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari describing them as ‘necessary evil', Igbere TV reports.


The natives, under the auspices of Abuja Original Inhabitants Youth Empowerment Organisation (AOIYEO), in a statement to the president obtained by Igbere TV, Commandant Isaac David, described the statement as hate speech.


Media reports had quoted the president as telling Senator Philip Aduda, who was part of an FCT delegation who paid him Sallah homage at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday, that, “I have all the results of all constituencies. I am not threatening FCT because to make FCT secure is to make myself secure and the vice-president. I think they know that they are necessary evil that was why they decided to vote for PDP.”


David said the people took exception to the statement, adding that though the president said he was for nobody, “we believe he is for us as our governor and should direct our affairs with that unbiased mindset.”


He said the president lost the election in FCT due to several factors including complacency by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the territory.


He recalled that the natives also queried the fact that in 2015, President Buhari promised to the indigenes at the Palace of the Ona of Abaji to appoint one of their own as minister of the FCT, but did not, adding that left no one to monitor the elections on his behalf.


“The president travelled to Katsina State to vote, the Vice President travelled to Lagos State to vote and the FCT Minister travelled to Adamawa State to vote leaving the indigenes who constitutionally they represent as governor, deputy governor and acting governor in limbo and therefore amenable to influence by extraneous forces beyond their control.


“This is the more reason why the president should appoint the Minister of the FCT from the indigenes, somebody who speaks their language and knows them as is the case with the executive governors in the 36 states,” he said.

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has issued a query to Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II over alleged financial misappropriation, Igbere TV reports.


Igbere TV learnt that the query was issued on Wednesday by the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) on behalf of Mr Ganduje.


The query comes days after Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission recommended Sanusi’s suspension.


The commission alleged that over N3.4 billion was misappropriated under Kano Emirate which is overseen by Sanusi.


It also alleged that the said amount was misappropriated between 2014 and 2017.


Ganduje and Sanusi had on Tuesday shook hands and shared laughs at the Eid praying ground to mark Eid-el-Fitr.

Senator-elect of Abia North, Orji Kalu, has insisted on contesting the seat of deputy senate president regardless of his party’s decision, Igbere TV reports.


In an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily today,monitored by Igbere TV, Kalu said that his move was to ensure that southeast region gets full representation.


“Let me be honest with you even if the party asks me not to run, I will run on the floor of the House, this is one position I have to run for because you cannot leave the southeast alone, you can’t leave them behind,” Kalu said.


The former Abia State governor, elected as a senator in February on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), said the ninth assembly would stand out and do what is right for the Nigerian people.


“We are in the process of doing the right thing and the East will be given a place in the scheme of things. I am asking that the east should be given the Deputy Senate President.


“There is a high level of discussions about that and I’m sure that by partisan it would be a law in the House,” he said.

A traditional medicine practitioner in Anambra State known locally as a ‘native doctor’, Igwe Ofomba, has revealed that the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, would unseat President Muhammadu Buhari, Igbere TV reports.


Ofomba, at this year’s Onwa Nge festival in Nando community, Anambra East Local Government Area, said Atiku had been destined to become Nigeria’s President this year.


Igbere TV further reports that he said Atiku would be declared president after defeating Buhari at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja.


The ‘native doctor’ said he would resign his practice of traditional medicine if his prediction fails.


“I am new servant of the new covenant, I deal with 1,777 spirits. Atiku Abubakar will be president of Nigeria this year through the tribunal and to assure you that he will emerge victorious and be declared winner.


“If what I am saying fails, I will resign my traditional medicine practice. I will make it known to the world through the electronic and print media that I have resigned if this prophecy fails,” he told the crowd.


“I said it before the elections that Atiku will and must be president of Nigeria. The 2019 presidential election was marred by electoral illegalities, which prevented Atiku from having outright victory and so the court will do the needful by giving him his stolen mandate as God has destined.”

Atiku Bagudu, governor of Kebbi state, has been elected chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors’ Forum


He was elected at a meeting the APC governors held at Imo governor’s lodge in Abuja on Thursday night. Bagudu, whose election was unanimous, replaced Rochas Okorocha, governor of Imo state. Okorocha’s tenure will expire on May 29.


The government of Kebbi expressed delight over the development in a tweet on Thursday.


“We are very glad to announce that Governor Atiku Bagudu of @KBStGovt is now our Chairman. Ensuing press releases and briefings will be made to this effect,” the tweet read.


Speaking on his appointment, the Kebbi governor promised to provide leadership to the forum to realise the group’s “collective vision to build a strong, democratic and inclusive APC”. He promised to focus on driving inclusive governance structures that would ensure transparent and credible decision making processes within the APC.


On Thursday, Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti state governor, was named chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), while Seriake Dickson, Bayelsa state governor, was elected chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, the same day, Punch reports.

Senator Ademola Adeleke has sued the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, for his detention by the police in Abuja on May 6, Igbere Tv reports.


Igbere Tv gathers that candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the September 2018 Osun State governorship election through his lawyer, Kanmi Ajibola, is seeking the enforcement of his fundamental rights to personal liberty and right to freedom of movement at the Osun State High Court.


Joined in the suit are the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 11, Leye Oyebade; an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Simon Lough; and an Assistant Superintendent of Police, John Faluyi.


In his ruling, Justice S.O. Falola ordered the police not to arrest or detain the senator pending the determination of the substantive case before him. He made reference to the ruling of Justice I.E. Ekwor of the Federal High Court, Abuja, who granted Adeleke permission to travel to the United States on May 7th for medical attention.


Justice Falola observed that the ruling of the Federal High Court had prevented the respondents from arresting or detaining the applicant. The judge said he had to allow the order made by Ekwor J. of the Federal High Court, Abuja, in charge No, FHC/ABJ/CR/156/2018 on May 3, 2019 to continue to operate.


Justice Falola subsequently issued Form 48 against the police, asking them to take notice of consequence of disobedience of court order. He then adjourned the case to June 17, 2019.

The Nigerian Army has reacted to claims by the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, that the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division and Land Component Commander Operation DELTA SAFE, Major General Jamil Sarham, was involved in oil bunkering in the state, Igbere Tv reports.


Wike, who is at loggerheads with the Army chief, made the allegations against Sarham when he hosted a team of military personnel in his office last week. He alleged that Sarham was promoting illegal buckering in the Niger Delta region to enable him finance his ambition to be appointed the Chief of Army Staff.


Reacting to the governor's allegation, Colonel Aminu Iliyasu, Deputy Director Army Public Relations, in a statement released, said the claims were false and a deliberate effort to tarnish the towering image of the Chief of Army Staff and the GOC 6 Division.


“Recall that on 22nd February 2019, Governor Wike brazenly alleged that there was an attempt to exterminate his life by assassins organised by the GOC 6 Division. As weighty as the allegation was, we are yet to know any action taken by Mr Wike that guarantees his safety. Mr Wike has since failed to use civilised legitimate options to prove his allegations against Maj Gen Sarham.


“On the mischievous accusation against General Sarham leaking proceeds of State Security Council Meetings to criminals in Rivers State, Mr Wike knows well that Maj Gen Sarham is not a member of the Rivers State Security Council, neither has he ever approached the gates of Rivers State Government House since his assumption of office as the GOC 6 Division.


“Mr Wike only came face to face with General Sarham on the 15th of January 2019 during the 2019 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Parade at Isaac Boro Park. However, the Nigerian Army challenge Wike to provide the public with any evidence of such meetings with Maj Gen Sarham in attendance.


“Accordingly, Wike’s allegation against Major General Sarham’s selfish involvement in illegal oil bunkering is another reckless, spurious and mischievous accusation. Hence, Headquarters 6 Division wish to request the Governor to take the most civilised way of putting up a petition to the relevant authorities to make a point''.


“Mr Wike’s resentment against the GOC is based on the latter’s choice of professionalism and integrity over the billions of naira offered to him by the Governor to compromise the 2019 General Elections. His refusal to be bought over and the rejection of such hefty offer is the genesis of Wike’s hatred and vociferous criticisms against Maj Gen Sarham.


“Consequently, 6 Division Nigerian Army wish to reiterate its commitment to the protection of lives and properties as well as the protection of critical national infrastructure in its Area of Responsibility for the benefit of the nation. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office has commenced investigations into the alleged illegal payment of about N400 million to some members of the Kwara State House of Assembly and the State Executive Council members before the expiration of their tenures,Igbere Tv reports.


Igbere Tv also learnt that the anti-graft agency is currently interrogating the Secretary to the State Government, Sola Isiaka Gold and the Clerk of the State House of Assembly, Kperogi Halimat Jummai over the alleged payment which did not follow due process.


Igbere Tv gathered that all the 25 Lawmakers and some members of the State Executive Council two weeks ago received about N400 million severance gratuity before the expiration of their tenure despite the fact that the State is owing workers about three months salaries.


The petitioner said even though the Lawmakers and members of the State Executive Council are entitled to severance payment, it was the next administration that was supposed to pay the money.


It was further alleged that the State Government with selfish intent, swiftly paid the money before the expiration of their terms.


More worrisome was the issue of furniture allowance running to hundreds of millions of naira according to the petitioner, which they wanted paid along with severance gratuity.


In a letter written by the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr. Ali Ahmed to the State Governor, it was confirmed that the Lawmakers were entitled to severance gratuity at the end of their tenure due to terminate on June 7, 2019.


The letter further stated that: “In accordance with the provisions of the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMA & FC) Honourable Members are entitled to 200 percent of their annual basic salaries as their severance gratuity allowance at the end of their tenure of Office.”


Kperogi who confirmed that the Lawmakers have received their severance gratuity told EFCC operatives that the payment was approved by the State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed.


Kperogi said: “In a meeting of the Principal Officers of the Kwara House of Assembly wherein I am scheduled to be the Secretary, held on 8th of May 2019, Issue of Severance Gratuity to the Honourable Members was raised, the principal officers were informed that the State Governor has approved the payment of the Severance Gratuity.


“At the meeting, I informed the House that his Excellency had approved the payment, adding that members were expected to be paid after the expiration of their tenure of Office. The House debated it and they overruled me.”


On the other hand, Gold wrote and sought for the approval of the severance gratuity and furniture allowances amounting to about N300 million of some members of the State Executive Council, Igbere Tv reports.


In a letter to the State Governor, dated May 8, 2019 Gold said: “Your Excellency, by virtue of the provisions of Kwara State remuneration of political and Public Office holders law, certain category of political and public office holders are entitled to severance and furniture allowances of their basic salaries respectively upon successful completion of tenure.”


According to the SSG, while the Lawmakers have received their monies, members of the State Executive Council are yet to receive their gratuity.


Meanwhile, the Commission is also investigating the pictures circulating in the social media which claimed that the government officials are packing four trucks full of loads to an unknown destination.

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the report alleging that a young Nigerian man identified as Daniel Utomette's appointment was terminated by the management of the Ibom Air Services for being a member of the ruling APC, Igbere Tv reports.

According to the statement signed by the party’s chairman in the state, Obong Iniobong John, the APC questioned the Akwa Ibom state governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel and the management of the Ibom Air if being a member of the party has become a crime against the state.

Mr. Obong while condemning the act in his statement, further said that "government offices and establishments are opened for everybody and not members of a certain political party."

"We used to think and believe that one can seek and get an employment opportunity in the state without necessarily belonging to the party in power in the state," the statement reads.

In the present arrangement in Akwa Ibom state, everything is politicised.

Membership of the APC in the state is now a crime against the state.

As an APC member or sympathizer, for you to be attended to in any government office or establishment, you must hide your political affiliation very well. What that means is that government offices and establishments are opened are opened for only PDP members.

Job opportunities in any government organisation or agency are opened for only PDP members.

We are aware that a task force has been set up by the state government to identify every APC member or sympathizer in the state civil service for political victimization.

All these are calculated to intimidate APC members and sympathizers in the state.

But PDP members are not discriminated against in any of the programmes and schemes of the APC-led federal government.

We know many PDP members who are beneficiaries of the N-power and other social schemes of the APC federal government.

Maybe Mr. President should also direct that no PDP member anywhere in the country should be allowed to take part, benefit or be employed in any of the programmes and schemes of the federal government.

What the PDP government in the state has done to the young man is partisan politics taken too far, the height of pettiness and political intolerance.

You don't employ and fire someone without the opportunity of taking his first salary simply because he doesn't belong to your political party.

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has offered automatic employment to all PhD holders of the state origin, as well as those from other Ijaw-speaking states in the country, Igbere Tv reports.


The governor said beneficiaries of the offer included Ijaw from Ondo, Edo, Delta, Rivers and Akwa Ibom states.


The state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said in a statement on Friday that Dickson made the announcement while inaugurating the Committee for the Employment of PhD holders across Ijaw land.


The move comes a few weeks after the governor made a similar gesture for all first-class graduates of the state origin. He said the PhD holders to be employed would be deployed in the various state-owned tertiary institutions, including the Niger Delta University, the University of Africa, the Bayelsa Medical University, the College of Education and the Bayelsa State Polytechnic.


According to Dickson, the PhD holders’ employment, including those in the Diaspora, is part of the ongoing efforts of the government to reposition the state’s education sector and make it more viable.


The statement said the committee was headed by the Secretary to the State Government, Kemela Okara, and that those interested could apply through the committee for immediate employment.

Reports reaching Igbere Tv says two women identified as Mrs Kate Ugwu and Ekwutosi Onodu were arrested yesterday morning by the members of the igbo-eze south central neighborhood watch after they were caught for selling a 2 days old baby.


The fair woman Mrs Kate Ugwu who is from Umugbabe village of ovoko in igbo-eze south LGA of Enugu state confessed that she was contacted by Madam Ekwutosi Onodu to help her sale her sisters child as they do not need the baby in their family, Igbere Tv reports.


"I only help a friend, because the mother of the child is too young to be a mother as she is just 13years old. So i contacted a friend of mine in Rivers State who promised to pay the sum of 300k and I delivered the package to him already so we are now waiting to get paid so we can take care of the little girl," Mrs Kate said.


Mrs Kate, when asked how long she have been in the 'business' disclosed it was her first time but her partner, Ekwutosi debunked her claims as she said Kate was telling lies.


Ekwutosi also disclosed that Kate was known for the business and that was why she had to contact her for this one.


Igbere Tv gathered that the mother of the little child has been rushed to the hospital for treatment after she was found inside Ekwutosi's room bleeding.

A tanker loaded with fuel collided with a bus carrying passengers along the Amansea Agu-Awka road, Awka.


Igbere Tv learnt that the accident happened early this morning at about 2am.


An eyewitnesses disclosed to Igbere Tv correspondent that several people were injured and some also feared dead as a result of the accident.


Men of the Anambra State Fire Service, security agencies, road traffic officials were seen at the scene trying to manage the situation.

According to the phone owner, the operatives apprehend the suspect, Hearther, on Tuesday evening.

A Nigerian man identified as Adebayo Alonge has just won the 2019 BNP Paribas Group Deep Tech Prize for inventing handheld nanoscanners that can detect fake drugs, Igbere Tv reports.


The award, under the umbrella of Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge, is a renowned global startup competition designed specifically to address the needs of deeptech entrepreneurs across several different industries and technologies.


The Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge gives scientists and deeptech entrepreneurs from across the world a platform for their research and projects, providing equity-free prize money as well as other funding opportunities, global visibility and connections with key players in the deeptech innovation network.


Alonge who was emotional while receiving the award, said: "thank you so much. It's been a long journey personally for me, from the 15 years when I was surviving from a fake drug to standing today in front of you here and letting you to be in my dream and the dream of my co-founders to make sure that most of people are safe from fake medicines."

A Lebanese engineer known as Sagir Ahmed, who was kidnapped in Kano State, was found dead after some days, Igbere Tv reports.


According to reports, the expatriate was abducted by masked gunmen while inspecting an underpass bridge at Dangi roundabout, Zoo Road, in Kano state.


It was also learnt that his driver was killed, while he was taken away. The Police in Kano State, later confirmed his death.


Igbere Tv gathered that the late engineer was an official of Triacta Construction Company.


Abdullahi Haruna, spokesman of the Kano State Police Command, said he was found dead along Maiduguri road on Thursday evening. He said that Ahmed's body was discovered at a bush in Yansango Village in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano state.


Ahmed was then confirmed dead at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital after discovery by villagers who contacted the Police. An autopsy will be conducted to determine how he died.


The Lebanese expatriate and two other persons, one of whom was the driver, were attacked on Tuesday morning around 7:00am as they were resuming work at Kano Zoo Road Underpass when they were attacked by unknown gunmen. The Police say investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Former Governor of Abia and Senator-elect (Abia North), Chief Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu was spotted with Senators T. A. Orji and Abaribe at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Abuja, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV correspondent covering the event live reports that the Abia State Senators exchanged pleasantries and shook hands at the ICC before taking their respective seats.

They were also seen in warm embrace.

Investigation by Igbere TV revealed that the sitting arrangement comes alphabetically (states A-Z), thereby placing the trio at the front row ahead of other states.

Of the three Senators from Abia, only Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), while Senators T. A. Orji and Abaribe are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The 16-year-old son of a Bishop has wedded his 15-year-old girlfriend traditionally and they are set to have a church wedding next month.

The teenage couple held their traditional ceremony on Saturday, March 9, 2019, in Nkandla, KZN, South Africa. The church wedding comes up on April 13.

The boy, identified as Siyacela Dlamuka, said he was looking forward to making Thando Mathebula his wife officially.

He said, "She’s different and special.
I can’t wait to officially call her my wife.
On the issue of kids, he said they aren't planning on having kids just yet. He added that they want to complete the necessary stages of their formal education before they expand their family."

His father, Mthandeni Dlamika, 59, a bishop of the Corinthians Apostolic Church in Zion, said he fully supports the underage marriage.

Bishop Mthandeni Dlamika said of his son's early marriage, "These days, you find teenagers engaging in sexual activities secretly and most of the time, they end up falling pregnant out of wedlock."

When his son told him he had fallen in love, Siyacela’s father took it upon himself to pay for dowry and other expenses so Siyacela could focus on school.

He added; "The only rule I made is that they wait until they’re officially married before engaging in sexual activities."

That was the rule I made for my daughters, who are all married now.

Fela Kuti was not only very popular as a Nigerian musician, he was also very controversial and often found himself in trouble with the government.

APC’s planned militarization of the state through the importation of thugs suffered a divine setback on Tuesday as security forces in Akwa Ibom intercepted and arrested 15 buses loaded with thugs from Benin.

Reports gathered by IGBERE TV say the thugs were contracted by APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole on behalf of the Akwa Ibom State chapter of the APC as part of the strategy adopted by the APC after Monday’s Town hall meeting in Uyo and a close door meeting held at Akpabio’s country home on Monday night which was attended by the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbanjo.

The thugs who departed Benin in the early hours of Tuesday enroute the Nsima Ekere Campaign Office in Uyo were intercepted at the Obot Akara boundary axis of the Ikot Ekpene/Umuahia expressway. The suspects were taken from Obot Akara to Uyo by security forces where they are currently being detained.

Some of the suspects upon interrogation said they came to Uyo from Benin for a burial ceremony on the invitation of the APC but were unable to mention the name of the person who died or where the burial was expected to take place.

In a related development, Senator Akpabio has been accused of vote buying in Ukana his hometown. Videos posted on social media on Tuesday shows women queuing up at Semek Water factory, owned by Nsentip Akpabio, younger brother of the former governor and were given #2000 each upon presentation of their PVC’s.

Many indigenes of the state have lambasted the former governor for plotting to set the state he once ruled for 8 years on fire and inciting violence that has threatened the peace the peace, stability and unity of Nigeria’s most peaceful state.

In a statement on Tuesday in Uyo, religious leaders in the state, under the aiges of “Fathers of Faith”, condemned Akpabio for his role in what they called the “militarization” of Akwa Ibom ahead of the March 9, 2019 elections.

The former governor of Abia State, and Abia North Senator-elect, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu few minutes ago arrived the Akanu Ibiam Airport enrout Abia state ahead of the March 9, governorship election.

Kalu told Igbere TV that the time is up for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as Asians are ready to send him back to his hometown on Saturday.
