Yesterday, there was a report about a Nigerian guy who reportedly proposed to his girlfriend with a Diamond Ring, and a 2 million naira cheque.

They identified as Salt Nate on Facebook has taken to the platform to explain why he did it, and to of course clear the air, saying that no “2 million cheque” was presented during the proposal.

He wrote on his Facebook timeline;

I was wowed when I saw our faces all over the internet to be sincere I have been longing to cement my relationship with my girlfriend but I don’t know how to express the love I have for her so I organised with few friends who know our story and our journey I was able to get a ring worth N50,000 and the cheque was just a dummy stuff to express she’s worth millions of naira.

A Nigerian lady has cried out after a man who promised her marriage if she allowed him to have sex with her has suddenly stopped mentioning about the marriage he promised her earlier after having sex with her.

A Nigerian woman has cried out after her husband dislike having sex with her through "the opening God made for it". Rather, he preferred having sex with her through her anus.

A Nigerian mother identified as Olori Formular1 on Instagram (pictured above) was shocked to find her body on Facebook with someone else's face photoshopped to it, and she exposed the woman.

Olivet Timipere took a photo which Olori uploads in celebration of her forthcoming birthday to pass off as her own. She then replaced Olori's face with hers so it looks legit.

But Olori Formular1, came across the photo on Facebook. She shared the edited photos which Olivet posted both on Facebook and Instagram and called her out for it.

One of Olori's posts reads;
"Somebody please tell me, what kind of desperation is this? Why will somebody Photoshop my picture like this? My Body, someone’s face. Biko what do I do please, I’m confused."

In another, she wrote;
"@olivsparks kindly take down my picture on both your FB & Instagram pages within the next 24 hours please. Meanwhile, reflect on your write up and live it. Send me a dm, I’m sending you this dress #olorif1."

Following the callout, Olivet has changed her Facebook profile name and has deleted all her photos. She has also made her Instagram account private.

A Nigerian burn survivor identified as Magdalene Edet Ekanem has made a bold move by showing off her burn scars.

The scars are mostly situated around her tummy region, and Ekanem rocked crop tops to show them off. She said she isn't ashamed of her scars because they are the reminder that she's alive.

A Nigerian woman on Instagram took to the social media platform to recount how she almost lost her two kids due to the negligence of a Lagos school (Crane Schools).

According to her, they kids went on a school excursion to Omu Resort, but were left in the school bus by the nanny meant to watch them.

"In February, my son (3 yrs) and daughter (2 yrs), joined the rest of their schoolmates (CRANE SCHOOL, Ajah) for an excursion to OMU Resort, Bogije.

Upon getting there, both my children were left behind in the parked vehicle on a hot day with the doors locked.
The nanny took down the rest of the kids, leaving just mine. The driver closed the doors and everything, everyone went in.

Sometime later, a staff of the resort was just passing by the parking lot when he saw my son call out weakly through the window. By some divine miracle, my boy was able to open to open it slightly enough and by some luck, someone just happened to pass by.

He called out, “uncle” and the shocked man looked inside the vehicle to see my daughter passed out in the chair and my son barely conscious.Both kids were covered in sweat. My son’s eyes were terrifyingly swollen and red.
The man raised an alarm and they were able to get the bus open on time.

My daughter, at the time, was already gasping for air. They had to UnCloth them both because their bodies were burning hot. They each finished a large bottle of water as they were very dehydrated.

The resort staff asked the school for our numbers. They were determined to report their deadly negligence. For hours, Crane School refused to give it. It was not until they threatened to post pictures of my kids and the buses on social media that they finally gave in.

My husband and I rushed to the resort after the call. He insisted on seeing the driver and childminder who left the kids in the car. The school refused to tell us who they were. We wanted to know why it was just our own kids that were left in the bus. We were very suspicious that it was not an accident. The school had no answer for us.
We are now suing the school for negligence and attempted murder. Their lawyer’s response was basically for us to do our worst.

Why am I writing this? I am appealing to all parents to keep an eye on their children. If they are always afraid to go to school, do some investigation. If they get bruises often, don’t let it go. Pop in on the school unannounced from time to time to see what goes on when you’re not there."

A teenage Ghanaian girl identified as Nicole Wesoamo Pwamangwho was also a philanthropist has died after battling with cancer for about 3 years.

Wesoamo, who was diagnosed with cancer in her thigh in 2015 and had been in and out of hospitals since but eventually succumbed to the disease.

She founded the Wesoamo Child Cancer Foundation to bring much attention and help to children suffering cancer and was a graduate of the Fountinhead Christian School at Sakumono.

She also got admitted at the Akosombo International School, all within the time she was suffering from disease.

Wesoamo Child Cancer Foundation had announced the tragic news on Facebook on March 20, 2018. It was also announced that the family and friends on the deceased would make sure her legacy lives on. They vow to continue from where the brave girl stopped and make sure that a lot of people are enlightened about the ravaging disease.

A photographer captured the heartwarming moment a 6-year-old boy burst into tears as he watched his mother walk down the aisle to meet his father.

Bryson Suber, from Columbus, Ohio, could not control his emotion at his parents' wedding and onlookers thought it was really cute.

Dressed in a bright red suit as he stood at the top of the aisle in front of the groomsmen, he began bawling when he saw his mother, Tearra, walk down the aisle toward her soon-to-be husband, his dad. He is seen leaning forward to get a really good look at his mother as she walked to meet his father.

Photographer Paul Woo, who captured the heartwarming moment, said: "As everyone stood up and waited for the bride to come down the aisle, he started expressing so much emotion.

"I was solo shooting this wedding, and this moment was difficult because I was secretly bawling behind the camera and had to prioritize this moment over the bride coming down the aisle."

Woo said he was able to get photos of Bryson and the bride.

"I got both photos," he said, "but I knew this moment was THE moment."
