Big Brother Naija housemate, Dee-One rejects fellow housemate, Ahneeka during pairing.

The female housemates were asked to go choose a guy who they wanted to pair with and they can only become a pair if the male housemate accepts.

Ahneeka was the first female housemate to choose and got rejected by Dee-One. She had to wait until every other housemate had been paired before she chose the remaining housemate, Rico Swavey.

Each housemate's fate in the house is now tied to their partner as they will be rewarded, punished and evicted together.

In one of the photos, the Nigerian couple decided to take the concept of pre-wedding shoots to a new level as they tackled each other in the field.

If I’m to take a guess right now – I’d assume the man to be a Footballer…If not a professional, at least he has shown his love for the sport.

Yesterday, there were reports about a visibly “unhappy” bride who wasn’t smiling on the day of her traditional wedding.

The bride identified as Duchess Alexis, has reacted to the reports , and said whatever went down at her wedding is simply tradition.

She noted that in her tradition, which is “Ijaw”, the bride is meant to “Frown” after been ushered in by her friends and sisters, and then the groom and his friends/family are expected to spray her until she laughs.

After her birthday recently which she celebrated while on the set of a movie , Eniola Ajao never knew she would get another party which would have friends and colleagues in attendance.

But on Sunday, January 29, she got a huge surprise from friends which included, Sotayo, Joke Jigan, Adediwura Adeseigha and many others.

A surprised Eniola Ajao confessed to her friends:

“I never thought anything could happen after my birthday last Sunday but you gave me the shock of my life after been persuaded by my Amazing, smart and intelligent friend @_taiwobankole to go for a party a friend invited her for @oriental hotel not knowing it’s my own surprise birthday get together. …”

To her boss Odunlade Adekola, Eniola said,

“Thank you so very much sir for being a wonderful soul.. you persuaded me to go for the party my friend @_taiwobankole invited me for, not knowing it’s was my own surprise birthday get together.. you guys gave me the shock of my life….”

A Nigerian lady identified as Aaliyah Kennedy who was a student of Gateway Polytechnic, Igbesa, Ogun State, has died over the weekend, while in labour and the baby didn’t survive.

Friends and family members of the pretty lady have since taken to social media to pay their tributes to the lady.

A US-based Liberian entertainer, Miracle Gbayee took to Facebook today to post photos of her young niece who was brutally beaten and left for dead by her boyfriend last night in Monrovia.

Earlier today, the birthday photos of a lady was shared on the social media, but many cannot believe her age, thus it’s become a topic of debate.

The woman was seen in one of the photos carrying number foil balloons indicating she’s 18 years old, but many on social media were not convinced and said she’s definitely more. Like others, she was probably just messing around carrying the 18 balloons.

Daddy Freeze has reacted to a tweet where a man who has been jobless for 4 years, rejected a N500,000 job from the British American Tobacco, because according to him, smoking is a sin.

The tweet reads;

A Malawi Facebook page posted this photo of a Police officer who seems to be forcing a kiss on a young girl at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

While some users called for the dismissal of the officers, others said there was nothing wrong with what he did as the young girl 'looked' willing and is not a minor.

One Emma Onyeaneche Onye, a.k.a Ana Eche na Aguleri, died today, just 22 days after his wedding.

Late Emma, also known as Onyeaneche na Benin Republic, got married on December 29th in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Details surrounding his death is still sketchy but it seems he was killed as most of the tributes by family members and friends are urging him to revenge his death.

Julie S.-Future is a 24-year old burn survivor who suffered a terrible accident in 2016 that left parts of her skin cooked, spent 4 weeks in the hospital and had 4 surgical procedures.

July 21st 2016: I was a server at a (hole-in-the-wall) nightclub. The food was served and prepared under a tent adjacent to the kitchen door of the club. On that particular night there was a crowd of customers around the tent. Two of the customers got into a dispute and one pulled out a firearm and began shooting.

Everyone turned to run and a propane fueled fryer was tripped over and the oil flew everywhere. It clung to the back of my clothes and began to cook my skin. At this point I was now inside the nightclub waiting for the shooting to cease. When I arrived at the hospital thirty minutes later they removed the clothes and said they would not be able to treat me there. I was given several bags of morphine and transferred to a Burn Center. I had suffered 3rd degree burns. I spent 4 weeks in the hospital and undergone 4 surgical procedures.

When I was released I had three months of physical therapy to regain full range of motion. In that time I dealt with depression and insecurities. Getting over the idea that this was my new skin and my new battle was not the easiest pill to swallow. I was 22 conceited and shallow so not having perfect skin seemed like I was paying for my sins. Took a lot of seclusion meditation prayer and self love to get to the woman I am today.

Now that chapter 24 is here I’m ready for the world! Never in a million years did I think this would be my truth and my purpose in life but I’m more than honored to be here inspiring people of all ages and all issues to love themselves and fight to live another day.
