RomanceProstitut And Girlfriends: No Difference by prodam(op):
Fellow Nairalanders, have you thought of this before. If a girl of today can date 4 guys at a time and date another different set of guys within a short interval of time.and of course, she will play justice to them all, by making them happy on bed,
isn't there a close relationship with a Prostitut that makes love with at least 2 men per day for the same aim of making fast money,

a good example is daniel(a ghanian friend) daniel's girlfriend was never a virgin and confessed that she has dated 4 guys in the past since her secondary school days, 3 out of the 4 made love with her, Daniel will be the 4th to make love with her and I am very sure, Daniel won't marry her, before she get married, there is high probability of sleeping with 4 more guys cos she is just 20, so her husband would now be refered to as "lucky man".lucky my foot.

this issue can only be well treated by being open-minded...

briefly, the state of the country is devastating and more unfortunate, is that it is also deteriorating,
we should disagree to agree, but in Nigeria, we are disagreeing to disagree more,
the cause of this problem is not far-fetched at all, the affairs of this nation lie in the hands of a set of people who willingly request to lead us and made promises
they did swear to an oath, they read the Pledge, they told us they are ready to engineer the affairs of the nation for 4 years, they are our LEADERS right from the stewpid President down to the "illiterate" Councillors,

PoliticsRe: How To Pay Off Nigeria's External And Internal Debt Within One Month. by prodam(m): 9:52am On Jan 22, 2012
the only feasible way is dedicating a large amount of our generated revenue to clearing of debt,
this in turn mean the fedearal government capital projects would definitely be reduced
Now tell me how many Nigerians would be prepared to live with little or no federal govt capital budget for the next decade for the debt to be cleared?

As I have always said, the masses can not in anyway pay for goods we never bought, we can never suffer for mistakes caused by the ineptitude of our leaders, we have economists, i mean renowned economists amongst them, let them chart the way forward,

To those condemning splitting, I know it should be the last line of action but the current situation of the country has made it a good option to consider

Now take a look at what is really happening in the nation, I can remember vividly that when the rivers state government announced that #4naira would be deducted from the price of petrol in Rivers state only during the protest, some south-easterners were already agitating for a regional government. some posters here on Nairaland were already condemning federalism, are these people true Nigerians?, do these set of people truely want Nigeria to be one? with their myopic view and shallow thinking

I feel sorry for the igbos because your effort of trying to associate yourselves with the south-south will be abortive, How many benefits or favors have you derived from this FG, the earlier you realise that you can't do things alone, the better it is.

Furthermore, to buttress my advocacy of splitting as a solution in this devastating period of the Nation
As a person from the west I can never fight for Abuja(where bombs are being tested). It is not my business.
But if these bombs start to blow up in Western Nigeria, it is very possible that I will be joining the Oduduwa warriors(arising from the  Oduduwa Republic). We will congregate from all over the world. We will take up the war from where our ancestors left them. We will defend Yorubaland with the last drop of our blood.
Western Nigeria-The Yoruba Nations- will not fall again

nchara: you are a loyal and patriotic biafran, take it easy now, your keyboard is precious to me
you and every other person saying igbo have resources, simple, why still wanting to associate yourselves with delta and edo
have you guys forgotten the history of edo, it has a yoruba fundamentals, i will give a lecture on that later.

Mr. Nchara and other defendants wink, for simplicity, my stand reads: we've got 6 geo-political zones, let the 6 go separate ways, the culture is so diverse and  has nothing in common. No love, cheating, killings, on the same issue of ethnicity and religion,

It is here on Nairaland that I heard muslim north and christian south, what a demoralizing statement, it is arrogant, thoughtless and insensitive for anybody to describe Nigeria like that, such statement can never strengthen national unity

Finally, if the Biafra hurdle be started again today, then the population of the republic would be less compared to then, the SS has realized many things and are not ready to loose their precious resources to the hands of the corrupted.

I gave you enough time to do some googling (at least) by continuously asking you the same question so you can redeem yourself, but you continued to wallow in ignorance.

With the probable exception of two (Bitumen and Gold) resources there is no major resources you will find in any zone in Nigeria that is not in commercial quantity in the East (Imo/Abia/Anambra/Ebonyi/Abia). I dare you to prove me wrong. There are so many ignoramuses strutting the cyber space and your are certainly one of them.
google or no google? am everly a "student" of History, I have books (ancient), witnesses and pictures regarding Nigeria-Biafra events.i have got no time to do a comprehensive research about that cos i know the internet might not be unbiased as regard the actual resources in the igboland,

Thanks Nchara for your points but u guys should be ashamed of yourselves that your lands are left unused (undeveloped) despite the huge amount of money you realized from all the natural resources, i went to ebonyi for a film shot and I made some relevant observations, thanks once again, I have really learnt alot from the argument, infact, one article written by an ibo phd holder made me to understand that:
Southeast is only about 3/5th of Igboland. Igboland covers the whole of Southeast, parts of Rivers, Delta, Benue, and Akwa Ibom states.
this contradicts what my igbo history student wrote in his project ooo.why now,
PoliticsRe: Splitting In Nigeria: Who's Gonna Loose by prodam(op): 11:51pm On Jan 21, 2012
Bros, I initially wrote you were wrongly schooled on the facts. Hunger does not cause people to lose a war. Rather I would say lack of ammunition and moral support do. Even the numerical advantage Nigeria enjoyed over Biafra did not faze the later a bit. I guess you did not see pictures coming out of Ethiopia and Eritrea during the civil war.

I still do not understand the plank of your argument because you seem to hedge your facts on innuendos and fabricated fallacies. Since after the civil war, states with Igbo connection seem to occupy the high echelon of JAMB statistics.

There were two industries/mills responsible for production of steel and aluminum in Nigeria before the war started. Each was located in the north and east respectivel
bashr8:
I think this prodam is st,upid I dont understand why non igbos become expert in igbos affairs, why would the igbos in rivers and delta not join their igbos country if I may ask you? Are people still this stu.pid in todays Nigeria.we have asked what minerals others have that we don't have? Is it oil we have in abundance in both imo, and abia or natural gas ? Or are u talking about fanta, coke and sprite. Secondly why are you getting headache over what will happen to igbos and how they should divide themselves? Why not put all that energy on what will happen to your people.
Mr 1965, then, Prior to the discovery of oil, Nigeria's wealth derived from agricultural products from the south, and minerals from the north.

unfortunately, the oil would dry up in the next 43 years (which i am not happy about), why not come together and join the rich people

pls forget the biafra movements and move on to form a better NIgeria.
you have seen pictures from the civil war where biafrans are being put under "high-tensioned" sufferness arising from greed and satisfaction of selfish interest of a minority, I guess that same blood of greed run in you.

Bashr8, I am not stewpid, nor you are but i did not find a word that best describe you cos you are a combination of characters, why wont i talk about the igbos, they are my brothers, we live together in the same nation, we eat and dine together but we are scared of them,
each time we look back at the history of this dear nation, we become scared of the people of the okadigbos, and kaduna nzegwus,
I love Nigeria, I love the Ibos
ProgrammingProgramming And Politics: Existing Relationship by prodam(op): 11:13pm On Jan 21, 2012
Hi, av jst thought of determining relationship that exist between programming and politics, what actually triggered this is the way we programmers solve problems using a step-by-step procedure(algorithm) and some terminologies that can be associated with or use to describe some real-life events. some terminologies like deadlock(operating system) can be associated with what is happening in Nigeria presently where people struggle for power and this lead to a state of chaos and static position( the country would not move forward),
In addition, the algorithmic way our brain is designed has really increased our thinking ability and ability to solve problem by being problem-oriented and approaching problem in a formal way,

Also, any programmer would agree with me that his approach to everyday's problem seem to have been influenced by Programming

In addition, some programmers here on Nairaland including me have posted relevant opinions in the political section of Nairaland, which means there are not opposite but there exist a meaningful relationship,

An article from the Internet reads:

Programming and Politics

If you’re a developer, you’ll probably be able to relate to this analogy.  Once upon a time there was a software project that you were involved that you loved and those that used it loved because it did it’s job well.  Then over time new features got added to it to expand it’s capabilities.  It was modified in different ways to fit different needs.  As new technologies emerged, some where incorporated, but others could not be because the system was already established.  As time went on, the project became outdated, slow, and inefficient.  The code was difficult to maintain and either one of two things happened  Either the project was abandoned in favor of something newer and better or there was a complete rewrite which made the software relavent again.

This is where I feel we are with our current government.  It has become slow and inefficient.  It is difficult to manage and does not meet the needs of the people.  Most everyone agrees that our government is broken regardless of their political opinions.  I hear often that the solution is to vote the current people out of office.  But I don’t believe this solves anything because the problem is with the system as a whole.  It doesn’t matter how good willed and motivated of a person we put in office, they aren’t going to be able to make a difference.

Take President Obama for example.  Whether you agree with him politically or not, you pretty much have to agree that he was highly motivated in 2008 to make a difference.  Did he make a difference?  Not much.  However, I don’t believe it was for a lack of trying.  It’s just not possible with the current system of government that we have in this country.

We vote the republicans into office, nothing happens, so we get angry and vote the democrats in, nothing happens.  We get angry again and vote the republicans in and we just keep continuing the cycle.

I think it is time for a rewrite.  We have learned a lot from our current government, and from other governments.  We have seen what is successful and what is not.  The economics and philosophies have change a lot over the course of our countries history and we need a government designed for it.  I believe that with a proper democratic process, we could write a new system of government that would be much more effective and relevant.

Let’s rewrite our government

To you dede1, all what you have been saying i dont understand cos your posts lack harmony of words and sentences, and i guess that was why i have not replied to your earlier post,
u wrote about a record in 1965, 47 years ago, how many more states have been created over those years? what effect did the civil war had on the people of the east?

Get my stand clear, If the regions were to stand alone, the Igbos would be most affected,
how did Nigeria win Biafra, i heard it was "because there was shortage of food in the east", am i right?

the igbo land consists of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and parts of Delta and Rivers State. Small parts of Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Benue and Bayelsa State,
as I said, only Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, would be forced to join the biafra nation and what do they have to offer, for your info, what these states have in common is lead/zinc,, i still repeat they can always count on their land,

What mineral resources don't they have in the core east that others have. Can you mention them? Thank you.
Bros, u and I know that it is natural to have a little of many resources in a region, so the fact that borno has oil and gas does not mean they are oil-producing, Majorly, the eastern part of Nigeria do not have exceptional resources like oyo, kaduna and rivers,
okay, igbos have the land and manpower, okay?
PoliticsRe: Splitting In Nigeria: Who's Gonna Loose by prodam(op): 9:15pm On Jan 21, 2012
What mineral resources do you mean Igbos do not have?
i mean the core east, facts and figure could easily be checked, history has said it all,
the south-south has been the region covering up for the east due to the short distance between them,
after splitting, everyone goes his own way and i doubt if the south-south would be ready to go with the east after the lesson learnt in the early post-independence day

it is obvious the igbo will loose in the short run because of their investment spread all over the country but in the long run like in 20 yrs time they will come back to be one of the most economically, technologically powerful country in Africa, give it to them

the yorubas will also loose cos most of their businesses in lagos are run by the igbo and they don't have the business expertise of the igbo,so they will loose alot in revenue and also their investment in the north will also be at risk

we dont need to talk about the core north, they dont exist.their only help will be aid from UN

the south south is not united, they have oil, fine but at the same time they are lazy except those of benin and maybe abit of calabar and awka ibom people.the ijaws, uroboho, itsekiris, ogoni and the rest are not ready to work, and they so believe in militancy and oil commission from oil companies with they will use to drink ogogoro ,like as if without oil there is not life.they will also be faced with environmental problem both air, land and sea and could also be a potential somalia figthing for land and expansion because of it multi-ethnic nature and also i see it as the most volatile region in Nigeria right now waiting to blow.

the middle belt will be confronted with their northern neighbors that will be fighting them for land and religious dominance which is also a problem

i think all in all.the igbos and the yorubas will most likely be the most beneficiary just that i don't see how the yorubas can do without the igbos and how the igbo will want to leave there investment in the south west especially Lagos,

i see a more of a southern Nigeria but if we happen to go along our tribal line then it will only be political not economical because we all still need each other,

the igbos after sometime will obviously go back to lagos and south west and other old Nigerian regions to colonize them economically, like they have being colonizing west Africa(they run most of the trade in west Africa and Africa beyond)that is their gift from God you cant take it away, i see them like the Germans of Africa.despite the lost they suffered during the civil war and starting life with just 20pounds and the oppressive Nigerian policy toward the igbos, they have still manage to distinguish themselves and tell the world you cannot bend them, i give it to them.
You made a point,
talking about investment and industry-based activities, the igbos and yoruba are keeping it cool
I hope this will not be alleviated by religious differences
PoliticsSplitting In Nigeria: Who's Gonna Loose by prodam(op): 7:11pm On Jan 21, 2012
Have you ever thought of the intricacies involved in splitting in a nation.
the last protest over subsidy removal has really attracted various comment from Nigerians all over the world most of which suggested a permanent solution of the recurrent problems in our dear Nation.
furthermore, the recent attacks being stimulated by ethnicity and religion is an indications of poor cultural integration and lack of religious harmony, suggest that splitting might be the best option

However, before a decision is taken, it is proper to make some predictions and economic indications especially in a sensitive and volatile economy of ours.
if splitting should come, which region/part of Nigeria would suffer
which region/part would find it as a blessing
the North or the South,
your responses should not be based on sentiments but bringing reasons that takes into consideration the history of Nigeria, the geo-political situation, the political saga, the available resources and other indicators,

On my own part, this is hard to predict because from my own perspective I believe the north with their rich agricultural produce are united and can move forward with that, the south(especially we the Yoruba) lacks love and unity but have got rich resources(human and mineral), the east has nothing tangible in terms of mineral resources but their initiative and creativity coupled with their fearlessness can get them developed like U.S.A

@poster
source,

NO BOKO-HARAM, No Islamic Terrorist group in Nigeria, No killing of Christians by Muslims, some people want to make the country inhabitable for us due to their defeat and satisfaction of their personal interest
everyday for the thief, one day for the owner
the true teachings of Islam does not encourage all this,
simply and briefly, before a jihad (attacks) could be staged there must have been some pre-events, the conditions are so numerous that at most times, muslims have to resolve to dialogue,
majorly, what Muslims are directed to do can be said to be a "defensive attack" at a point where it is the last option, jut like every other person, u defend urself if you are being attacked,
Muslims don't initiate violence against any body, Muslims will never kill a soul because he refuses to take his religion.
but still on still, bad eggs(people who understand little about the religion they are practising) are every where even in other religions,
all over the world, including Nigeria Muslims have had disrepute and have been put into black book by escalating or "hyping" any violence caused by Muslims, when a negligible number of Muslims are involved in crime, the Media put it to be a serious one initiated by Muslims,
The western world can never be fair to the Muslims because the Muskims cannot accept what they are trying to give them and the Muslims cant afford to give them what they want, the western world want to make the world go secular, no religion, no good deeds, crime and vices should be the order of the day, they want to lead the world, they want to legalize homosexuality and lesbianism, they want to make alcohol a regular drink for all, all their efforts to making this a reality are proved abortive by Islam and Muslims,
the western wold has seen Islam as a menace to them in, as an obstacle in achieving their evil intentions on earth, so they will not hesitate to wipe them off and make living uncomfortable after all they rule the world presently,
Although Muslims believe that the evil intentions of the western world would definitely come to pass, the whole world will soon become a place of great sin, whereby clerics would engage in open sins(as we see some of it today) as stipulated by the Prophet(S.A.W), but muslims all over the world have made it a responsibility upon themselves to resist it in anyway within their capability,

Finally, Muslims are not surprised at how the world is today, It has been predicted already , Muslims we are already close to , if not already in, the asri period, Muslims are are peace-loving people.because Islam means "the religion of peace"

this is because you can open source any platform

also,it cant compete with Java in the area of platform-independence
