thebargainhunte:You're not getting the picture, the rest of the world are not comfortable with Blacks and that puts us at a serious disadvantage. For instance, if Mark Zukkerbage was a Black man who came up with Facebook, do you think he would have had the same success? There is a glass ceiling against Blacks in the corporate world globally. How many Blacks are the CEO's or top executives of the Fortune 500 firms? No matter how good Blacks are in certain sectors of the Western world, there are key positions others wouldn't want them occupy even when they deserve it. A Black man will have to do three times more to achieve the same benefit or financial reward relative to a White. Blacks are taking the path of sports, music and other similar sectors that require physical instantenous results with little or no barriers. Even in football and some other sports, more skillful Blacks are often paid less and ranks lower on the pecking order. I am not saying we can't or shouldn't strive to do better, but as Blacks, we are at a serious disadvantage in the global arena. |
thebargainhunte:You're comparing apples with oranges. Blacks are already at a disadvantaged position regardless of wherever they may be in the world. You're asking how many billionaires in dollars are from Africa? The question should rather be, how many billionaires are Blacks globally, even there in the West? Unlike Africa, Europe, America and Asia all have advanced countries within them with huge GDP and generational wealth, so it is easier to have billionaires from among them. Unfortunately for Blacks/Africans, we lack generational wealth and equally suffer from global stigmatization. It will take a Black man three times more effort to achieve the same result/monetary benefits as would a White man regardless of where he is, whether in Africa or there in the West. |
Confirmedzombie:Lol, you are truly what your name says. FYI, every SE state now has testing centers while Imo has two. SE is in the hands of God, we are safe and we will continue to be safe. Now, let me give you an idea why we are better off. Take a drone picture of our cities and compare it with yours then you will understand the living conditions of both regions. We largely live in decent houses while you guys live in slums eg Ibadan ![]() |
According to the UNICEF, government should only locate hotspots for lockdown and not just everywhere. Therefore, based on that, Nigeria should put the following places in total and indefinite lockdown: Lagos, Kano, Oyo, Ogun, Katsina, Borno, Osun, Kaduna, and FCT. The SE governors must expedite action now, our northern and Western borders must be under strict supervision 24/7 now! States like Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi must take extra precautionary measures to ensure that people are stopped from coming into the SE from these epicenters. The SE must increase its testing capacity while closing our borders to ensure that our success so far is not frittered away. |
Lol, what is happening in the SW? Corona virus is ravaging these guys but they keep shouting Kano and north everywhere as if they are not worse off. Just imagine, 31 new cases just in one day! Their governors are even treating it the deadly issue with kid gloves and still playing politics with it. SMH. |
quentin06:FYI, supreme Court governor AKA onye oshi vote, is not our governor. He is a theif that was imposed on us but we will make sure he is chased out as soon as possible. Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi governors should take extreme measures in protecting their northern borders at all cost because that is where the threat is. |
Nigeria is totally useless yet some people will always open their mouth to say giant of Africa nonsense. If anything, we are an embarrassment to the Africa and the Black man globally. A country that has become an epitome of failure, a yardstick in measuring negativity! If truly we are African Giants, we would have sent a team of medical experts to Madagascar on a fact finding mission. Once we ascertain the veracity of the drug, we make order for immediate shipment and help push the narrative on the efficacy of the Madagascar drugs. That is how true Giants act but what do we have here? A country that is neither here nor there. Waiting for WHO to tell them what to do in virtually everything, even when they have strong reasons to doubt some of their policies. The fact is that the world hates Blacks and does not want to associate us with any significant success story. I was reading comments on a Yahoo news about the same WHO projecting that a quarter of a billion Africans could die of Corona virus, then come and see the hateful biles they were spitting out. These guys would be happy if this virus wipes out Africans. |
Pete Edochie is such a legend and a likeable man. Just take a look at the number of those viewing this thread alone. He is to Nollywood what Achebe was to African literature. RIP to Etiko's father. |
Chai, omo this one na real see finish ![]() |
masterpiscles15:Absolute nonsense! Even a kid can write a more believable lie. Sorry, but you lack the requisite IQ to do propaganda work. These are the kind of people the supreme Court governor AKA onye oshi vote can get to run his propaganda? Well dumb people will always attract dumb people too. Next please! |
IkeOnyia:You guys are not making any sense by defending this blatant corruption by FG. Does states control EFCC? Or the anti corruption bodies? Why would you recover someone's stolen property only to hand it over to another person?? Does it make sense to you?? Do you think these bastards can recover stolen property from any state in the NW, let's say Kano, Kaduna, Katsina etc and hand it over to the FG?? Why is it always stolen properties from the South, especially SE and SS that would be seized and given to Federal government?? Why not return it to the state that rightfully owns it Is that how to fight corruption, by robing Peter to pay Paul?? Is that not corruption in itself?? The same madness happened in Abia state, now they have come to Imo state, are they saying that no ex governor in the NW ever looted the state Treasury?? If they want to recover stolen properties from the SE they can go ahead please but they must do the right thing by returning it to the rightful owners, period. What nonsense!!! |
LibertyRep:The judge that ruled on forfeiting of a property that was built with state funds to the FG is a bastard!! Is this not common sense? How can you recover someone else's property and instead of giving it to the rightful owner where it belongs, you turn around and hand it over to another person!? What is the rational?? Is Nigeria not a useless country?? |
It may appear funny or like mockery but this is nothing but the absolute truth. However, like the saying goes, truth hurts!? |
Stating facts now means racism? Dude just said the truth in black and white!! Nigerian politicians have avaricious appetite for primitive accumulation of wealth and reckless spending, same with others in Nigeria. So why should one be offended by the truth?! |

These bas.tards are busy rap.ing this country to death yet they would have the effrontery to tell the suffering masses to continue making sacrifices. SMH!! |
Appleyard:I have never seen a more frustrating country than Nigeria. It still baffles me how freelancers are humiliated by EFCC. For God's sake, Freelancers ought to be celebrated in any sane society. People that export their skills to earn forex for the country, fly it's flag before the global community which earns the country respect yet they end up being stigmatized by both the authorities as well as the ignorant public. Well, you really need to get a physical business you can be attending to alongside your freelancing work. Luckily for me, I was already in business before I joined freelancing. I leave home as early as 7am (that may be very late for our dear Lagosians but i'm in Owerri), get to my outlet in less than 15 minutes and withdraw to my freelancing work while my employee would be attending to customers. Even at that people still insinuate that I'm into yahoo just because I drive a flashy car and carry laptop bag in my back seat. Try and establish a business bro, though it might be difficult for people living in Lagos considering that you might end up losing precious man hours on traffic. On my own, I try to educate people a lot that not everyone that works with a laptop 24/7 is a yahoo guy. We really need to keep enlightening the public until it sinks in. |
Chineke nna! This man called FFK will not kill me. Chai this is called brutally in mortal Kombat. Omo, see finishing!! This man is the only brave yoruba man I have ever seen both dead or alive!!! |
Chai, sorry dear |
saraphina:Thanks dear |
I will soon be wedding my fiancee. We decided to do some prewedding pictures to create awareness about our coming wedding.

This is becoming quite ridiculous. Does it mean these banana republics can't survive without us or what? This becoming embarrassing with all these unabashed begging biko ![]() |
All the terrible things that have held us down all emanated from these two backward regions. Religious crises, insecurity (Maitasine, boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, suicide bombing, Islamic riots etc), poverty, disease, illiteracy, almajiri system, VVF etc. If only Gideon Orkar succeeded in removing them from Nigeria like he planned during his coup, we would have gotten rid of this cancer that is now spreading all the country. SMH!! |
Yes, mostly in the parasitic North, I mean the north west and north east. These same areas are the reason why Nigeria has remained in this level of underdevelopment. If only these two regions were carved into Niger Rep and Cameroon, we would have become Africa's most developed nation by now. Smh! |
Oh my God, for the very first time, I commend Buhari for this border closure. In fact, I never knew that I would one day give Buhari a thumbs up, but on this border closure, I hail you Sir!! Who could have believed that despite all the insults we get from Ghana, that these guys are actually fu.cked up, destitute, and largely relies on Nigeria for economic survival?? I knew that Nigeria's economy is bigger the rest of ECOWAS combined but I never knew that these ungrateful banana republics that populate the subregion actually survive on crumbs that fall off from our table, literally speaking!! Benin, Niger and Togo are currently hemorrhaging and would soon go into recession while others such as Ghana and Cameroon would soon follow suit and these is happening just because we ONLY CLOSED OUR BORDERS!! Nigeria sneezed and the entire subregion caught pneumonia!!! All of them from Benin to Ghana are now besieging Abuja, begging and groveling for us to open our borders If only we can get our acts together as a nation, honestly speaking these banana republics we have as neighbors will never speak when we speak talk more of arguing with us. Nonsense and ingredient ![]() |
Chai, if Ghana is an abomination then I wonder what adjective this person will use to qualify Nigeria. Shame on Nigeria, the disgrace of Africa. |
Onitsha on fire indeed. Like you dropped an H-bomb on the city. Why not say that a house or even a plaza is on fire instead saying Onitsha is on fire. Alarmist! SMH. |
Innoson has the potential to become Africa's biggest indigenous brand in the coming years. If only the federal government can give it half the kind of support it gives Dangote, the company would have gone very much far than where it is already. Indian government supported Tata. Japan supported Toyota. South Korea supported LG and today these brands have not only become a source of pride to these countries but now contribute significantly to their respective economies. However, when it comes to the Blackman and particularly Nigerians, they will start considering the person's ethnicity or tribe first without considering the bigger picture. It is Innosons shear determination to succeed that is pushing them forward and not even government support even in a place where it is very difficult to produce as a manufacturer but countries that have the enabling environment still support their own regardless. Smh. |
FIFA or no Fifa award. Chukwuweze is a star to watch. Our own Messi. Dude is talented!!! |
Mrmoore14:Ikpeazu is a disgrace, he should go and learn from Umahi on how he is doing a great job in a state like Ebonyi that is a lot poorer than Abia. I visited Aba and was unfortunate to pass through that hellish Aba/Owerri road. I never knew the road was that bad, and halfway through I was stuck in muddy water. I was totally confused because going back means having to drive through massive muddy water and going forward equally means continuing with the suffering. Luckily for me, a guy came and told me to be following him while he walked through the muddy water so I can know areas that are not so deep. I kept the governor under my breath. I had to pay the guy for his help while I drove to the nearest car wash. I avoid visiting Aba as much as possible. Ordinary flyover at Osiosioma Junction has remained rocket science while Ebonyi that was created yesterday now has several standard ones. Even Rochas bad as he was is far better than the best governor that has ever ruled Abia since 1999. Aba is a commercial city and exports goods all-over Nigeria as well as West and Central Africa. Leaving it in that sorry state is hurting its economy badly!!! |
MelesZenawi:Don't mind that dirty afonja. The dingbat was busy posting gory pictures of yorubaland and called it Aba. Smh. Aba is bad no doubt in terms of bad roads and refuse disposal which is squarely government failure. However, I like the way Igbos always call out their governors when they are not doing well, unlike those from the waste that will always hide while suffering in silence, a terrible attitude they shamelessly call sophistication. Nonsense, shame on Ikpeazu by the way! |
