Dalexicographer:Are you a learner? Nairaland is owned by an unrepentant atheist who is always excited to hear about news that brings the Church to disrepute. |

Chai, I no hear am on time. I for come Aba go watch the game. See as stadium full. Columbia guys go dey there stand dey smoke igbo ![]() |
Lol, I pity all the zombies dancing on the first page about APC's wining of LGA elections in Imo state. FYI, no election took place in Imo state on Saturday because all the opposition parties boycotted the elections. Even one supposed poling booth close to my office had no voters, just a table and few personal who waited till evening before a bus came and packed the materials and left. I can assure you that APC can never win any election in Imo state today. Even rigging can't work because of massive anger against Rochas and anything APC. Mind you, you can only rig in areas you have local support and I don't see how such rigging can work in places like Owerri, Mbaise etc for APC. |
Dasuks:Oh, now I know where all these illogical argument is coming from. You are afraid that Igbos seem to be excelling in many areas and the Igbos too are not helping matters by blowing their own trumpet, which now makes you all so insecure You now want to single handedly prove that such is fallacy My brother, I'm afraid that your fears are actually a truism. I am not an Igbo supremacist but it has been proven by different scientists that certain ethnic groups are more advanced than others the world. They mentioned the Jews, Chinese, Aryans of Germany and Igbos (the only black group) as those belonging in this elite group. They used a wide range of research areas before arriving at their conclusive verdict. The facts are all the internet from diverse credible sources, you can google it. Even without being told, why do we have the kind of technocrats existing in Aba and Nnewi, manufacturing all sorts of things. What about the technological feat Biafra achieved in the 1960's? What about the dominance of Igbos in virtually everything that is done by merit in Nigeria be it business, industry, commerce, education, sports etc which brought about federal character and catchment areas to whittle down Igbo domination?? If everyone is operating on the same pedestal in Nigeria, then all these things should be removed and let's see those that would be at the top and those that would be at the bottom. Ask yourself why Igbos were in control of virtually all sectors of the Nigerian economy prior to independence and before the civil war. You can ponder over them, thanks ![]() |
ice4u999:Proximity to the airport is vital for such project to thrive and that is why they need that particular land. |
IkwereBuIgbo:Lol, how can he achieve such feat when he is not in control of the police, army or any force? Do you expect the governor to walk into the air force Base and throw them out? Is he a super man?? |
ariesbull:Lol, the dude is so funny in his lame argument. Such a comic relief ![]() |
4601CE:You lack sense, if with the large Igbo population in Lagos, Abuja, North, West and South coupled with IPOB induced apathy, SE still runs neck on neck with other regions then it goes to show that Igbos are the largest ethnic group in Nigeria. |
Dasuks:My friend, you are not making sense at all. You appear to be educated yet still operate at such low mentality. Okay, let's accept your argument notwithstanding that it lacks merit. How does Allen Onyema doing business with your so called Kuku make any difference?? Answer these questions; did Kuku dash him money? If yes, how much? Did they do any form of business transaction? If yes, what did Allen Onyema supply or build for Kuku?? Finally, even if in the most unlikely situation it happens that Allen did any form of government contract for the GEJ administration, did he ran away with the contract money that was given to him without executing the said project?? Please I need answers to those questions above. |
EgunMogaji:Lol, see this envious afonja, does your rustic slum city of Ibadan have an airport?? Even the airstrip you have there, when last did it see a conventional aircraft?? You want an international airline like Air Peace to use an airstrip that is used for hajj operations only ![]() If you guys like, don't fly Air Peace, the airline won't even miss you at all. We know the major travelers from Nigeria and they are willing and happy to board Air Peace ![]() |
christopher123:Don't mind those lazy children. They are the ones that started the rumor on how Air Peace belonged to Patience Goodluck because she is known as Mama Peace, lol. Yet the owner has granted interview and even mentioned that he has never met Patience Goodluck in his life and even explained how he established the airline from the scratch! All the aircrafts in his fleet are named after his children!! If he is a front, will he name the aircrafts in his fleet after his wife and children?? I just hope he will make Enugu his hub for international flights as well as local ones. |
Confused terrorist wondering which state to send killer herdsmen to |
docadams:Cattle rustlers from Daura are wreaking havoc there. All SE states should be on that list!! |
redflame:It's only one bingo who keeps impersonating as Anambra man with many monikers that says such rubbish. The development of any part of Igboland should be a source of happiness for all true Igbos. |
redflame:Stop being petty please. I'm not from Ebonyi state and neither do I live there but they are definitely doing well, at least infrastructure wise. FYI, I know Abia state very well. I was born in Aba and I grew up there, and still visit the city to see family members and check on out properties there, so I know what I'm saying about Abia state. Aba is the most industrialized city in Igboland (probably the only city in the East that is supplied with gas pipelines for industrial use). Yet the city and the state at large has remained stagnant over the years. FYI, Aba used to be in the same level with cities like Lagos, P.H, Kano and Onitsha in terms of development and drawing of people from different walks of life. In our neighborhood alone (Ogbor-hill), there used to be many expatriates living around who worked in places like Lever Brothers, Aba textile mills, PZ etc but most of these companies have all closed down! What about the roads in the city, sanitation etc, are they what it is supposed to be?? Abakailaki was still a village when Aba has already become a big city buy today there is no single flyover like the ones available in Abakailaki or even wide thorough fares like the one in Onitsha or P.H. The successive governors who ruled Abia state are all mediocres, from Orji Uzor to TA Orji and now Okezie Ikpeazu. Umuahia used to be far ahead of Abakailaki in terms of development but look at the solid infrastructures there in the later, can you compare them to the former in any way?? I love Abia state my brother, and I'm always proud of Aba's potential which is comparable to the Asians but we should call out these mediocres ruling the state to buckle up. Igbos are not known for hiding things; we say it the way it is!! |
Ebonyi is doing very fine. For a created in 1996 among the last badge yet having infrastructure that many created long before it can only dream of. States like Osun, Abia, Ekiti, Kogi, Nassarawa etc can't boast of such infrastructure and transformation. Kudos Ebonyi state!! |
sarrki:Whoever is behind this moniker is sick!! The psycho will jump into any thread and start saying trash just to derail it and distract normal humans from making reasonable comments. Everyone should start ignoring irritants like this regardless of the level of stvpidity they exhibit here. Buhari is doing more harm than good to those that hope for Nigeria to remain one. I mean how on earth do people think that Igbos will suddenly forget all these atrocities against them and forge ahead with others in Nigeria?? If the Igbos has not forgotten the atrocities of the civil war that took place 50 years ago, is it the recent ones they will forget?? Igbos are way too large to be intimidated into submission and they have what it takes to ruin Nigeria. Even if everything continues at the current pace, Nigeria will still breakup in no distant time. Buhari should continue drawing sympathy to the Biafran cause and IPOB may become a deadly guerilla group with hit and run tactics. They have passionate followers and enough connections and global network that could finance them very effectively. So tell me how NA can defeat them if it gets to that? And if they think they will resort to killing of civilians in retaliation whenever they are hit, then it won't work because it will spiral out of control. A sensible government would have given Igbos a semi autonomy to quell the demand for Biafra but it's obvious that those ruling Nigeria are demented foo.ls with abysmally low IQ. Igbos will still laugh last because since the history of the world, injustice has never won over justice perennially. Soviet Union broke up, Sudan broke up, India broke up, Malaysia broke up, Ethiopia broke up etc so I don't see what is so special with Nigeria that it can't break up!! |
Facts! Facts!! Facts!!! |
marv1:Zero sense made! Which laws exist in your sh!thole?? Stop deceiving yourself my friend, Nigeria is nothing but disgusting hellhole that belongs to the 16th century! No civilized country uses state apparatus to intimidate civilians, that's the hallmark of banana republics. I can bet you that Nigeria will still break up sooner or later, there is no going back on that. As for those women, be rest assured that they have won jackpot already!! Each and everyone of them on that list are going to receive monies and gifts that will change their lives!! I can bet you on that, they will get all these from Igbos all over the globe. So if you think that buhari's reckless and irresponsible act will deter them or others, then you are mistaken. It will even spur others to act like them. Don't cry for these courageous women because they are going to be compensated beyond measure rather cry for your useless and worthless country Nigeria. |
Nice one from Oby Ezekwesili. Igbo elites should all rise and condemn this reckless and irresponsible act from a primitive country with an illiterate and dull president. This useless country will pay for every day these innocent women spent in cell unjustly. I have never seen a country as backward and primitive like Nigeria. It is a shame that civilized people are forced to identify with such a disgusting sh!thole. Amadioha will strike dead any Igbo person that would campaign for that dead wood currently occupying aso Rock in Igboland or even vote for him. I laugh at the IQ of these almajiris ruling the zoo and their paid online nuisances, I only have one word for you guys; he that holds someone on the ground will equally remain on the ground with that person --Igbo adage. Igbos will never identify with a cursed entity like Nigeria again, and it's also a shame that despite all your atrocities against the Igbos, we are still thousands of miles ahead of you guys in all developmental indexes. You can never force someone to identify with something they don't want. Igbos don't want anything to do with Nigeria and the more you bastards use state resources to oppress defenceless people, the more our resolve to leave this sh!thole is straightened. There is nothing brave or courageous in using guns and armoured cars to intimidate civilians. History has shown that the zoo's armed forces are nothing to write home about. Biafran soldiers killed triple of the zoo soldiers during the war before they had to resort to killing of civilians to get even and that's the hallmark of cowards!! Boko Haram is making a mince meat of them on daily basis yet it is armless civilians you see them forming Rambo, useless lots!! I bet you that if IPOB picks up arms today, these bastards in uniform won't stand any chance but I like the way they are being cautious to avoid collateral damage on the people around because the cowards will still start killing innocent people when they are dealt with by fellow armed men!! Nigeria is a despicable country and spit on it with all the mucus and sputum I can muster. Cursed country of primitive stone age dwellers!!! |
chriskosherbal:That guy's ignorance is really disturbing. Diaspora cash inflow is what is keeping many states afloat in Nigeria. I know how many people abroad that have bought land here in Owerri through me. When you see a building under construction here in Owerri, whether hotel, hostels or other big investment going on at the moment, chances are that the money is coming from abroad either through an immigrant or through yahoo guys operating from Nigeria. How many people in Nigeria today can cough out as much as 40 million naira to invest?? Even for other things like burials, weddings, footing of hospital bills etc, most of such money still comes from people abroad. There is hardly any family in Igboland today that does not have people abroad. I have a brother and sister as well as uncles and cousins in the US alone and same is applicable to many other families across Igboland. Nigeria would have been in serious trouble if not for remittances!! |
