ericuzor:Those ones are ready to sell their people to Sokoto just to get crumbs from the caliphate. Everyone that is reasonable enough knows that Nigeria is hopeless, screwed, unfortunate and has no future. In fact, at the rate we are going, there is going to be serious crises of epic proportions in the coming years if the status quo remains yet some bas.tards are making it appear like it's only the Igbos that stand to benefit or are not happy with the country. My aim now is to save up and leave the sh!thole as soon as I can with my family before sh!t finally hits the fan. Cur.sed nation with hopeless people!!! |
Shame on Obaino. To imagine that this drunkard once worked in the corporate world as a banker yet does not see the need to patronize a car marker that is producing in his own state!! Yet some idiats will be comparing this village champion to a great technocrat like Peter Obi. Smh!! |
Igbosmoker:Ignorance is not bliss |
Afonjas are in trouble. Fulani herdsmen no go hear. I smell trouble ![]() |
So by learning Igbo language means China is destroying Africa? What kind of logic is this? |
Nigeria has entered second stage in its journey towards breakup. The world is finally coming to the realization that the country is in serious crises, with mass killings going on unabated. The country as it is now is very weak and vulnerable to both internal and external attacks. Everything has continued on a free fall towards anarchy with state institutions in disarray while self help measures are gaining ground. The third and last stage will be fatal but it will definitely herald the breakup of the country. The UN, EU etc will never allow a serious conflict to happen in Nigeria that will result in massive deaths and refugee crises without support a final balkanization to manageable countries. Unknown to many, Nigeria is too weak to even question UN or other world powers should they demand for ceasefire and referendum in the face of any major crises that may arise. It is no longer a question of if Nigeria will breakup, but when exactly or the form it will take place. |
sogodihno:Look at one of them. That disgusting and slimy algae soup you guys eat in the waste side has really messed you guys up big time. You are so phucked up and I won't give you further undeserved reply. |
I laugh the south wasterners. These guys arrogate to themselves the tag of sophistry when in reality they are morons. They have been used and dumped again...... What a shame..... SMH! |
The truth is that Nigeria is living on borrowed time. It is no longer a question of if the country will break up but when it will happen. Nigeria can't survive for much longer going forward. |
These nomadic bastards really take all Nigerians for fo.ols. Well, they can continue with their madness but they will soon be disgraced accordingly. |
selemempe:I give it to you bro, your analysis is top notch!! Everything you said is absolutely correct. Nigeria will will definitely implode in no distant time going by the indices. Anybody who is discerning enough can see that Nigeria is already dead as a nation. What we have now is a carcass the politicians are feeding on. Some will argue that Nigeria has always had it tough and survived, that Nigeria is the proverbial cat with nine lives but little did they know that all these crises we kept having from 1966 till date were all tearing at its fabrics now the tattered remains is about to fall off. We Igbos should be preparing for life beyond Nigeria, the country is headed for the rocks!! |
This is sad. Man's inhumanity to fellow man. These guys are forever cursed. It seems he even married a South African woman because the child looks very much like them. |
Owerri is no doubt a lucrative city to be a landlord in Nigeria. The city has a high appreciation rate for properties and has remained highly sought after for people hoping to make good returns on investment. Unknown to many, there are still cheap lands in Owerri, when I say cheap I mean lands that are below 1m on the suburbs of the city. These places I'm talking about are buy and build. We have such lands in areas like Naze, Awaka, Egbu etc. Land has remained a very good asset one can invest in, and @ Galaxy Properties we can always assist you by showcasing genuine available lands for sale all over Owerri. Visit or call us today and be rest assured of investing in good locations that will appreciate very fast. |
They mentioned Nigeria alright but technically they were actually referring to Biafrans |
Good for them. Next please! |
Printerscanner:You epitomize Nigeria's failure. Read the nonsense you wrote relative to the topic being discussed and tell me if your education isn't as failed as Nigeria. |
It is a shame that people have allowed all manner of madness to continue unabated in this unfortunate excuse of a country called Nigeria. Even Nigerians are so clueless that they neither support revolution nor balkanization. I'm not being sentimental but Yorubas are largely to be blamed for what is happening to Nigeria and the calamity that has befallen all. I mean how would they reject revolution which Sowore is fighting for and still reject break up which Nnamdi Kanu is fighting for?? How are they enjoying the uselessness and worthlessness of this country?? Yet some folks are so stvpid that the only thing they are bothered about is how the north will hand over power to Tinubu!! Nigeria is the worst thing that happened to not just its people but the entire Black race!! If this useless country is run as it ought to be run. Most of these issues won't be happening. Nigerian youths are all over the world doing all sorts of legit and illegitimate toils just to survive but many of them would have stayed back if only this country is okay. A so called president is there watching while its citizens are being hacked down in the most horrendous manner. Tell me which sane country will allow such nonsense?? Why has the re.tard.ed president not declared diplomatic war on SA? Why is the old mofo not sending flights or ships to bring our nationals home? Why has he not expelled the SA ambassador while recalling ours?? Why has he not reported these guys to both AU and UN?? For how long will they continue to kill Nigerians while the old bastard keeps quite?? |
LegendHero:I don't know if you are saying all these trash based on mischief or ignorance. It's really sad that history is not taught in Nigerian schools but that alone is not an excuse for you to be in the dark about recent history, just browse online or go to the library/bookshops and get quality books about the war and read. I can recommend the ones written by Fredrick Forsythe, a foreigner who was around throughout the war years and took accounts of it as a journalist. For your information, Nigeria lost by far more combatants than Biafra did. In fact, the most tragic battles had Nigeria suffering great losses in them, in terms of men and ammunition, and they include: 1. The Abagana ambush; the Biafrans successfully ambushed a full battalion of Nigerian soldiers complete with columns of armored cars, ferrets, and lots of military trucks carrying thousands of soldiers. The destruction was complete and well documented. 2. River Niger Crossing; Murtala Muhammed tried to invade Onitsha twice through the Niger and twice his battalion was completely destroyed. It was out of frustration that made him to enter Asaba and massacre hundreds of defenseless civilians. There are other battles that can be called the Waterloo of the civil war where the Biafrans bested Nigeria but the above two were the most famous. I hope you know that Biafra did not fight against Nigeria alone, rather it was a war against allied forces with diverse selfish interests that sided with Nigeria. Such countries in varying levels of involvement included; 1. Britain 2. Russia 3. Egypt 4. Cameroun 5. Niger Nigeria had no air force at the start of the civil war, all the airmen available then were from the East and they all returned when the war broke out, so Nigeria had to invite the Egyptians who had gained some experience in the Yom Kippur war with Israel. It was Egyptian pilots that controlled Nigerian air force and aerial attacks against mostly Biafran towns and villages as well as providing air support whenever Nigerian soldiers faced defeat in the battle fronts. Russia provided Nigeria with fighter jets and the most popular was Illusyin Bomber and it was the Egyptian pilots that flew it. Britain provided Nigeria with lots of armored cars and ferrets as well as unlimited supply of machine guns and ammunition. Recent wikileaks revealed that the then prime minister of Britain had to send these supplies secretly because of its shear volume. Their argument was that Biafra needed to be vanquished as soon as possible and the only way to achieve that was to provide enormous supplies of arms. President Ahidjo of Cameroon was promised the Bakassi peninsula in return by ensuring that Biafrans do not get arms supply from their end of the border. So, Cameroon ensured that the blockade was effective and complete which denied Biafra access to food, medical supplies and arms from abroad. Niger also supported Nigeria with men and materials during the war. Also, the OAU even tactically supported Nigeria with the argument that if Nigeria was allowed to breakup, that it will lead to instability in Africa because other countries like Congo, Ethiopia, Sudan etc that were facing internal crises would be thrown into wars too. Biafra only had support from a few countries such as Tanzania, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Haiti, and their support were mainly moral and nothing more. It was the Biafrans shear determination, technological development and bravery that ensured the war lasted 3 years against all odds, in fact it was the blockade that made Biafra to lose the war because millions of children were dying from starvation and diseases. When I look at the events of the civil war, I feel sad for what the Igbos passed through. It can only be compared with the Holocaust in magnitude. Even their brothers in the Niger Delta betrayed them and sabotaged their efforts even when the odds were stacked against them. Now, everything Ojukwu fought for is what Southerners and now the middle belt are now crying over. It was fear that made Awolowo to back out even when he had always wanted Oduduwa republic for the Yorubas but he was a coward. If Awolowo was brave, he would have seized the opportunity of the Biafran war to declare Oduduwa republic and the North would have been too overwhelmed to continue or would have been roundly defeated considering that they didn't have it easy with a blockaded Biafra how much more when Biafra wasn't blockaded and they equally have the Yorubas and Binis to contend with. Even Britain would have given up because they would have realized it was a wild goose chase. Awolowo's cowardice is what everyone is still suffering today. |
CanadaOrBust:God bless you. Granted that Nigeria is cursed with evil leaders, but I still don't understand why many people are still relying on a useless national grid for electricity. I use solar system both at home and in the office. I enjoy 24/7 electricity absolutely free!! How can one live in the equator where the sun shines non stop and still pay for electricity?? Even if Nigeria would start producing enough electricity to go round, I still will never connect to national grid again. I also spend next to nothing on water and rent is relatively cheap too. I mean paying 350k for a three bedroom flat with 3 toilets/bathroom, all tiled and neat. However, Nigeria is still a nightmare in many other areas of life such as terrible roads, insecurity and lack of maintenance on public amenities. So, in a nutshell, both sides of the divide has its pros and cons but while a few Nigerians can even afford to make this argument, a vast majority of others can't. Therefore, to each his own. |
With each passing day, I become more and more convinced that this country is heading for serious catastrophe. No FDI coming in, population ballooning out of control, infrastructure decaying terribly, insecurity at same level with war torn countries. No single good news about the country. God knows I'm seriously considering selling off my assets and leaving this sh! thole for good. Nigeria will definitely face serious crises in the coming years and I pray to God not to be anywhere close to it by then. Cursed nation of mad people!!! |
TheDestroyer:Neither was I expecting anything sensible from a primitive agbero who is busy glorifying suffering. |
TheDestroyer:The joke is on you! Continue deceiving yourself while burying your head in sand when the whole world already knows that Lagos is the capital of all sh!tholes. FYI, they have yardsticks they used in coming up with the verdict. Lagos does not start at Banana Island and end at Victoria island. The whole stretch of the mainland is the worst catastrophe to befall man since the fall of Eden. I left Lagos myself when I looked at how miserable life is over there or am I oyibo too? Those that wake up at 4am and return home at 12 midnight are they oyibo?? Those that are kidnapped everyday in one chance are they oyibo? The woes are endless, leave Lagos as soon as you can if you want to enjoy your life!! Imao, even the picture used lends credence to the report. Tell me which world class city that has such appalling scenery? |
CompareDBest:Do you have info on other banks like gtbank or zenith?? Again, does it mean that stanbic IBTC does not offer 91 days tenor or anyone close to it? |
Sonnyboom:If only IQ is used as a yardstick to measure anyone's intelligence before being allowed to open account on nairaland, sane people would have been saved from the sort of nuisance and senselessness you and your ilks display here. EFCC arrested fraudsters in Owerri and your brain could not tell you that it will be dominated with people from there. Have EFCC not made similar raids in places like Ibadan, Akure etc? Where they not dominated by yorubas?? |
lilbest4:My dear, Japan is the most civilized country in Asia. Their civil right record is on the same level with the Western World. The worst that would happen would be to codon off the area Buhari will be. I know Nigerian diplomats must have notified their Japanese counterparts of IPOB threat already because they know it is real. I'm only concerned of the multiplier effect because once Buhari is disgraced in Japan his almajiris will be used to cause riots and Nigeria will go up in flames. Now, that is actually what IPOB wants |
adekolaelect:Remove the log in your own eyes before trying to speck in another's eyes. You are trying to accuse him over what you and your ilks are worse for. The list he showed you, was it fabricated or real?? Does that list with 100% Yoruba people on death row in Saudi Arabia, arrested for drug crimes not factual?? Yet you and your fellow hypocrites are busy trying so had to label all Igbos as fraudulent for a crime committed by a few?? |

This is gradually spiraling out of control. This is how revolution starts. French revolution comes to mind. There would be no hiding place for all the politicians that turned this country into a sh!thole. |
