Lol, is he talking about the same Nigeria we dey or Algeria! |
Onyenna:That's the norm in the North. I served there too and it was so funny how things are done over there. Though not all schools over there anyway but those ones in the rural and semi rural areas are something else. Students not understanding English is not uncommon. Students don't fail exam even if they score zero Students come to school at their own time and convenience you dare not punish anyone ![]() 23 year old fathers and mothers coming to school won't cause a stir of course during external exams, results are written on the board for students to copy and submit, and it still shocks me why many still fail WAEC over there ![]() |
obekediamondfuto:Lol, you're indeed a great Futoit ![]() I gained admission into FUTO many years back and met that ugly dude (Eze Mmuo). He was always loitering around SOSC building looking for students to scam He was the handy man for any odd job and was even highly connected. You want to do any manner of "wrongs" then Eze Mmuo is your man Friday Dude can arrange school receipt, NYSC call-up later, clearance, course wrongs etc just name it and Eze mmuo will certainly assure you that it will be done once you pay. But my brother, immediately after payment whatever you see is what you take Dude will use part of your money to buy you drinks while assuring you that everything is being taken care of..... Months later, still the same old story as he always have one excuse or the other to give you. He messed up many students back then including my very good friend. How he survived all these years despite the heart break he caused some students still baffles me. Such a smooth operator ![]() |
Beautiful goal by Oshoala and amazing assist!!! ![]() Nigeria 2 Korea 0 I just love that goal... the Nigerian player overlapped and crossed the ball to Oshoala who ran with amazing speed past a Korean challenger, rounded the goalkeeper and scored a nice goal |
rusher14:I have to agree with you absolutely. The hate is real and frightening, and I'm surprised that xenophobic attacks against Nigerians have not completely engulfed the length and breadth of that country. Inasmuch as I'm not absolving Nigerians from all the accusations, however these South Africans are just hating bitterly and it baffles me why someone would spend huge amount of money to travel to a developing country like South Africa that is equally suffering from poverty, mass unemployment etc. The black South Africans are mostly poor, struggling and naturally lazy. The lazy trait that is ingrained in them is what makes it impossible to compete with Nigerians that are naturally rugged and hard working go-getters although some take it to the extreme by becoming desperate when they discovered they have been sold a dummy of a South Africa that is flowing with milk and honey, and after spending huge sums of money back home to travel there with promises to their loved ones of changing their lives once they settle there, they now resort to crimes to meet up. That said, Nigerians really need to take life easy and stop this make it or die trying mentality. The country itself is becoming more messed up by the day and things issues that used to be seen as taboo are now regarded as normal things such as internet fraud, prostitution etc but the government still remains the root cause of the problem and the fractured nature of the country religious and ethnic wise is the basic reason why the people can't speak with one voice and challenge the ruthless rulers that have continued to destroy the country. However, things can't continue like this for long, because as the rulers continue to destroy the country, more and more people will continue to migrate legally and illegally and other countries will continue to feel pressure from Nigerians which will ultimately result in either xenophobic attacks or mass deportation or even both. There is no hope for Nigeria with the way it is presently constituted and the future of the country is beyond bleak except two things happen which are either to restructure the country effectively or outright break up into manageable parts that have things in common so they can easily tackle their various problems without others sabotaging their efforts. THERE WAS INDEED A COUNTRY!!! |
franchasng:You forced me to log in just to quote you. Every word you spoke here reeks of wisdom and street knowledge. I can relate with everything you wrote here. The op should replace his post with yours biko! I stepped up financially not long ago, moved into a nice apartment and bought a nice flashy ride which I posted on Facebook just to tag my folks in US. You wouldn't believe what happened afterwards, I kept getting friend requests from ladies while others kept chatting me up and giving me all manner of greenlight even when I ignore them. I don't chase women anymore, they are the ones chasing me around now. Well, I don't really blame them considering that Nigeria is the world's poverty capital and everyone is in a rat race to escape it by all means. |
Good for gold-digger!! |
It's so shameful and pathetic that no ewedu state made it in the first 7 states!!! Yet these people will always be making noise online. Even Ogun that is close to Lagos still couldn't make it?? Oyo with its bogus population of almajiris and wastelands filled with brown roof couldn't make it?? Even Ondo a so called oil producing state couldn't make it?? Damn it, I know they are now waiting for the former political capital and current commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos to brag with even when Lagos dominance has little to do with them. Breeze don finally blow and we don see fowl yansh ![]() |
This is interesting! Imo will be in the first ten. I can't find Enugu in the list?? With all the noise about Kano, Ogun and Oyo, these states are still performing below per in many developmental indices. They just have impoverished citizens with very low purchasing power. SMH!! |
Lagos no dey ![]() |
5oyad:Even the worst optimist knows that Nigeria is finished! This country is headed for the rocks and if the world fails to intervene and see how it can be divided into small manageable parts then they should be ready to take care of tens of millions of refugees within the country as well as others that will scatter all over the the Sahel, Sahara desert, Mediterranean Sea and down to their shores in Europe. Nigeria is currently the world's worst Ponzi scheme and should be dissolved with immediate effect. In all these yet the bastards that are ruling are only after how to protect primitive and savage herdsmen while population keeps ballooning. I fear anybody who is afraid for the present and future of this unfortunate country. |
This is what the bastard terrorist has reduced a once flourishing country to yet some unfortunate and useful idiats are still supporting him because of primitive sentiment! Spits on all of them!! |
Zoo republic! |
Emmzy201:I quite agree with you. Nigeria may have had nine lives so to speak, but I dare say that it has finally exhausted it all. What we have now is a country living in its last days. Nigeria now looks more likely to break up than remaining as one country based on events that are unraveling. With the way things are going, it is no longer a question of if Nigeria will break up but how and when. What will fast-track its balkanization is the Fulani's belief that they can do anything they want and get away with it. They are now so confident and have this weird attitude of invincibility that would be their greatest undoing. Forget about the bickering going on in nairaland between Igbos and yorubas, a time is coming when Southerners and middle belt people will unite and speak with one voice which will be matched with action against these terrorists, and by this time, it will be happening in many fronts and at the same time. by this time, elements in the army would start taking sides with their ethnic nationalities and soldiers will start deserting the army. What many fail to understand is the fact that ex generals like Theophilus Danjuma and Obasanjo have access to classified information others would not be privy to, and for them to be raising such alarm without minding the fact that the instigators will still use state resources and institutions to fight them speaks volumes. Right now, Nigeria is the most likely country to break up in the world today and it is already unfolding before our very eyes. However, except prominent figures in the South and middle belt would act fast by involving the United States, Israel and of course UN once things begins to spiral out of control, otherwise these guys from Futa Jdalon really won't give up without a brutal fight and they have obviously been preparing for it. |
Missed blessings ![]() |
Lol. Animal don catch hunter ![]() |
kakameks:Not absolutely, rather it would be counterproductive. Her infantile tantrums and disgusting attitude may earn her more followers on IG and FB but be rest assured that no responsible brand will want to identify with her now. Companies like Glo, MTN and others won't like to make her a brand ambassador and many responsible people won't like seeing her face in films anymore and in the long run, producers of films will stop giving her roles as well as fellow actors that won't want to be on set with her or even link her up with roles. She is on a destructive part already and if she doesn't stop her madness, it will destroy her. She is so so frustrated. |
This girl has completely lost it. Her face alone now disgusts me. Spits on her stvpidity!! |

jrusky:You are making sense, no doubt. Regardless of the fact that yahoo has actually helped in making many of the youths to stay away from violent crime such as armed robbery and kidnapping, it still remains a crime on its own and no society should allow it to thrive, no matter what. The menace of yahoo has seriously disrupted the fabric of our society to the extent that hard work and patience are no longer virtues to be emulated. These yahoo fraudsters have made young genuine hustlers to look like criminals too, and this is very bad and discouraging. I drive a flashy car and live a nice apartment but my neighbors and people in the street would be thinking I'm doing some sort of yahoo despite the fact that I have a 9 to 6 business and freelancing work that engage my time. I now hide in my room to work do my freelancing work or wait until I get to the office before opening my laptop. Yahoo has fueled greed in Nigeria to an all time high, the If only Nigeria is a normal country, a revolution would have occurred over and over again but because it's not a nation in the true sense of it, that's why all manner of evil continues unabated. If things continue this way, I will save up money one day and travel out to sane society where me and my loved ones would have sanity. |
It's alright ![]() |
Dshocker: ![]() |
![]() Lol, Don JaZy actually has a kind of frog voice but it's so unique and sweet. I just love it ![]() |
VulgarLee:The incoming governor, Emeka Ihedioha has a lot of remedial works to do. In fact I don't envy him considering the rot Rochas is leaving behind. |
Lol, such a clown. The reverse is actually the case!! |
Jokkarm2:Well, I once had the opportunity to move to the US but I passed it off to my brother, and he is there right now with my sister. Nigeria may be terrible to most people but don't get it twisted, some people are still making exploits here. However, it all depends on one's peculiar situation. Nevertheless, 70K salary is poor considering inflationary pressure on the naira. I earn on average, 5x that amount as a single guy living in a not so expensive city yet I struggle to keep expenses on the low in order to make savings. Anyone earning 70K while living in cities like Lagos, Abuja or P.Harcourt would find it difficult getting by and it would be worse if they have families that depend on them. To the Op, you can only return as an enterprenuer with a good startup idea and funds to back it up, but DON'T EVER RETURN TO NIGERIA TO LOOK FOR JOB BECAUSE THEY ARE VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT!! |
This is bad, real bad |
What an informative thread, I'm quoting it for reference purposes ![]() |
gensteejay:I'm even surprised that you're still contemplating on using solar as a freelancer! For God's sake, you have no other option than to go the way of solar. I am also a freelancer as well as an entrepreneur, and for over a year now, I have been enjoying uninterruptible power supply in my office courtesy of solar. I was rubbished and frustrated by PHCN's epileptic power supply and using generator with its noise and stress such as going to buy fuel all the time, servicing it etc all made my freelancing work a total nightmare! I was always on the brink of missing out on deadlines, rejecting offers because I was afraid I would not meet up and even having issues with my clients when they ask for revisions. Needless to say that my revenue was far below what it should have been. However, all that changed when I installed solar in my office. Immediately after, my stress level dropped drastically as I wasn't bothered about taking any project regardless of time constraints. I have this odd feeling that Nigerians like suffering because I don't understand why majority of our roofs are not currently covered with solar panels already, considering the fact that we are situated in the equator where sunlight is most intense and can last for up to 7 to 8 hours a day, and this is a natural raw material that is totally free!! I dare to say categorically that if white people are the ones occupying our space and coupled with lack of power supply from the national grid, then every household would have been using solar by now! I have vowed that I will never use generator again as long as I live in Nigeria because to me it's nothing short of stvpidity to be spending money every day buying fuel, stressing yourself with starting and putting off your generator, servicing it every now and then, enduring noise and air pollution. I don't even use PHCN nor generator both at home and in the office but I enjoy 24/7 uninterruptible power supply through solar. It may be expensive to fix at the onset but with time you will recover your expenses and your energy bill will be zero!! FIX SOLAR TODAY, AND YOU WILL BE FOREVER GLAD YOU DID!!! |

You think its because the so called celebrities sing (for musicians), act better (for actors), dance, play ball (for footballers), run fast, or fight better (for boxing celebs)
