PoliticsRe: Onitsha Port Concessioned To 2 Firms, May Commence Operations This Year - NIWA by proeast(m):
Lol, just imagine!? These bastards really playing with us no be small. Everything about the SE is in future tense while anything that concerns north is done immediately. Is anyone still surprised on why Nigeria has remained a sh!thole despite its potentials? Imagine a commercial and industrial port-city like Onitsha where a huge percentage of Nigeria's imports goes to was relegated while a village in the north was completed!? Despite the fact that Baro village is far more inland and equally in an unviable area!? Is Nigeria not a cursed country when we have ret.ards and I'd!ots ruling the country.
Making Onitsha port operational will not be in the interest of Anambra state or even Igbos alone rather it will go a long way in solving the gridlock and frustration in Lagos due to too many trailers trying to access the ports there, will also reduce the need for Igbos to leave their region as others have been canvassing for and equally help to grow Nigeria's economy yet these bastards and re.tards ruling Nigeria think they would be doing Igbos a favour by making Onitsha port operational. Now, what is the basis for sharing a country with wicked people who will rather see us suffer than progress?? I piss on this worthless creation of Lugard, may he rot in hell.

nnamdijonathan:
When did Abia start producing Cocoa? Are you sure that Imo state is the largest producer of any farm product in Igboland becauss , from recent occasions, Ebonyi and Anambra are the kings of Agriculture in Igboland, producing majorly Oil Palm, Rice, Cassava, Yam, Vegetables, Maize, Sorghum, Plantain, and Cashew. Enugu state comes next in Agriculture behind Anambra and Ebonyi. Abia are Imo are still far behind others. I see nothing stopping the Imo state government from inviting the indigenous and Chinese farm companies that are in Anambra to come to IMO state and boost the Agricultural sector of the state.
Abia and Cross River are the two biggest Cocoa producers in the East though they are still behind states like Ondo.

The Milliken Hill road that was celebrated across the internet has started washing away, days after it was opened for use.
Obviously, the contractor did a very shoddy job.
This is why many roads in the South East are still bad.
Substandard contractors everywhere.

PoliticsRe: BREAKING: 'travellers Trapped, Many Killed’ As Boko Haram Attacks Military by proeast(m): 9:04pm On Jul 27, 2018
The present and future outlook of the North looks very bleak indeed. These guys are hell bent on having an Islamic terrorist nation and are ready to kill everyone until they achieve it. But as far as they don't bring their madness across the Niger, then there is no problem. The North is only reaping what they sowed over the ages.

Bro, I'm not in Aba and neither am I from Abia state though I was born and brought up in the city long ago. I'm from Imo state but I love Aba because its one of the greatest cities in West Africa in terms of commerce and industry with potential to rival the Asians in terms of productivity but it is hugely disappointing to have the kind of governors the state has been having since 1999.

PoliticsRe: Disintegration, A Neglected Solution To Nation’s Challenges ― Senator Adeyeye by proeast(m): 7:14pm On Jul 27, 2018
BENARI:
It's only a foolish fool that will still continue to daydream about a United Nigeria in the near future.

Nigeria is gone. Scientifically, In fact, based on any indices, Nigeria can not survive.

I don't blame those begging for unity though. Fear of unknown is real. The reason most Nigerians fear disintegration is because they dear the outcome might leave them worse than the present.
One though they must come to terms with is that change is inevitable.

This centre certainly cannot hold anymore.

The real reason We spill hate online is not because we love to hate, it's just because we are getting in each other's way. We don't belong together.
I know those I can tolerate in Nigeria and I know those I can't. separate me from the later, and you'll see we are just normal people after all.

The hate will only worsen as long we are forced to remain together.
Truth however, is the hate will surely give birth to conflict someday, and the inevitable will become reality.

Ever wondered why the Igbos are so many in the West, yet they record almost zero tribal conflict in there history together?
Ever wondered why there far fewer Hausa fulani in the South, but hardly a year passes without ethnic killing involving them? Is all about compatibility.

We know this things yet we pretend, because at least for now, it seems more convenient to pretend.

Nigeria is just a dried tree waiting to fall.
You made real sense with your post. I can bet you that most ethnic groups in the South and even up to the middle belt can actually live together without any serious issue but put Hausa fulani in the midst and you have chaos and underdevelopment.
The truth is that Nigeria will certainly break up at the pace we are going, it may be now or in the next ten years but it will definitely happen someday! However, if we fail to sit down and discuss if we could have a loose federation of mutual respect for one another or go our separate ways in peace, then we will still break up violently which would be terrible for us all and indeed the rest of Africa.
Nigeria is already tottering on the precipice of disaster!!

I really don't know if you guys want to market Aba or to ridicule this great city. Aba has lots of built-up areas like East and Town area where you see lots of 4 and 5 storey buildings as far as the eyes can reach. Nice residential areas like GRA, parts of Ogbor-hill and Umungasi as well as River layout etc. Successive governors of Abia state are mediocres including the present one. Enyimba hotel should have long been completed and the surrounding water-side turned into a Disney Land & can be easily achieved without much ado by planting exotic coconut trees at the banks of Aba River and using white sand to cover the banks as well as flowers and grass verges while using mesh fence for demarcation. Now, is that rocket science!. Allowing a dirty abattoir and open market called Ahia Udele (Vulture Market) at such strategic central area is very disturbing.

I really pity the people of Niger Delta. Your lands are massively polluted and destroyed yet the money coming from it is being used to develop other places!! Now, as if that is not enough grief, the northerners and some Yorubas still own the oil wells that is in your backyard!! If this is not the worst form if injustice then I wonder what is. Continue begging others for crumbs in what truly belongs to you. What a shame!!!

Tolexander:
Didn't you read where it is stated that the refinery is the first private driven refinery in the north
That's a smokescreen! These people really think we are foo.ls, I can bet with a million dollars that this refinery is being financed by FG and they even sent an open invitation to NNPC to make it look like they are observers when in actual sense it is NNPC that is providing the funds. I really pity the Niger Delta people; the oil is in your region yet the monies are being taken out to develop other places while you have only pollution to contend with!! Dangote is building one in Lagos, now buhari is building another at the border of Nigeria with Niger. While in the region that has the oil, non is being built!! On the flip side, I guess North is actually preparing for a possible breakup of Nigeria and trying to join their brothers in Niger. First was building schools in Niger when northerners are mostly illiterates. Second was building a railway line into Niger. Now is building a refinery and pipelines into Niger!! Yet people in the South are keeping quiet like Dundee united!! Ndi eriri eri.

Nigerian security forces headed by Hausa's are pathetic to them. Even Buhari has cried out when Boko Haram was dealt with During GEJ regime. What do you expect...
GEJ made Ihejirika the chief of army staff and immediately he began to deal with Boko Haram decisively but alas, what happened thereafter, this same Buhari and northern elders claimed that GEJ and Ihejirika were killing northerners and they even went as far as reporting them to the ICC!!? Today, the monster they reared is now destroying them. Talk about karma!

The useless and coward zoo army will still deny it despite video evidence! Imagine ragtag Boko Haram disgracing these guys up and down yet they still make noise and only flex muscle on civilians. Now, that's the hallmark of bullies and cowards, they only fight those that are defenceless but take flight once they encounter strong opposition. SMH, everything about this unfortunate country has really gone to the dogs.

If memory serves me correctly, your great grandfathers, and even yourself have all been serving the Yorubas and the Abokis. The FFK you all rever has almost zero political pedigree in the South West. The reason you'all will never amount to any political values(s) in Nigeria is cos rejected Yoruba politicians are your Lord and Messiahs. Not beefing you though but next time you wanna engage in internet war, endeavor to know your story before disgracing yourself again.
You guys are a disgrace indeed! FFK is an outcast to you simply because he is not like the rest of you who have agreed to be slaves to your northern masters. That's the same way you guys insult all your leaders that complain against the Hausa fulani like Falae, Odumakin and Fayose while you praise drug barons and fraudsters like Tinubu simply because he is loyal and subservient to your northern masters!! I repeat, shame on you and your likes who have agreed to a life of as.slicking and slavery to barbarians because you lack the guts to challenge the status quo. FFK is our friend because we share the same aspirations, so go hug a transformer if that is paining you.

You really wanna hear the truth, not even a sane Yoruba person adores FFK and even his father. The more reason he's frolicking with you guys. Not being a tribalist but the political games of the South East clearly differs from the South West. The more reason a political outcast from the West could dominate the East. Still waiting for a rousing welcome from the West to FFK
You are suffering from mental slavery. What makes FFK an outcast in SW? Oh, I get it, you guys are embarrassed due to way he calls out your Hausa fulani masters and to show your masters how loyal you guys are to Sokoto, you decided to make FFK an outcast in SW. Chai, SW will forever remain inferior to the Hausa fulani because they see you guys as slaves that are always willing to do their bidding even at the expense of your own people, just like afonja of 19th century!! Such a shame!!!
PoliticsRe: Lagos And The Nigerian Tribal Tragedy by proeast(m): 9:40pm On Jul 21, 2018
Alariiwo:
You're right.. Lagos is giving so much, yet getting nothing in return.

If you can recall, a bill was moved to grant Lagos a special status with similar privileges Rivers and the likes get.. But as expected, the SE. leaders and their senators kicked against it.

Their vague arguement then was that a landlocked Abia or Anambra without ports or pressure must get Special status grant too should Lagos that suffer all the burden get.

They were less bothered about the pressure but concerned about sharing formula.
Continue calling Igbos while Lagos is gradually dying. No sane person now wants to live in Lagos except the few diplomats and rich ones that stay on the island. The rest of the urban jungle is collapsing under its own weight. You guys thought by keeping everything in Lagos, you are suffering others but alas, you ended up cutting your nose to spite your face. Thank God I left that jungle years back. You guys are all living a Hobbesian lifestyle with attendant short, brutish and nasty living. I just they pity you all in that sh!thole grin grin
