Born2Breed:Lol, why is it that those Igbo men look far more handsome, healthy and prosperous in 1966 than these afonja men in 2018 despite the fact that the former picture is in black and white ![]() |
Almaiga:Wow, you don't mean it?? But why are you concerned with far away Yemen with 8 million facing starvation when over 80 million northerners are already malnourished and neck deep in crushing poverty ![]() |
Just one road? In a state capital?? My friend this is 2018 already so stop celebrating mediocrity!! |
Inhuman sadists! Little Hitlers!! Vagabonds in power!!! |
tstx:Are you kidding me, like seriously, you actually want me to confront these heavily armed criminals in uniform |
neweraomo:It's a shame that human beings could still reason like this person. Pray you don't fall a victim one day because yours could be worse except you are one these barbaric policemen. |
Roger3D:Lol, Borno of all places ![]() |
Roger3D:Can you be proud enough to tell us your state?? |
[s] klax:[/s] Go kill yourself, Ezi ohia. |
humblemikel:Lol, Nna make una see dis girl o? Go and tell Ben Ayade to ask Igbos to leave Cross River and see if he will not slap you for trying to ruin the economy of his state The people and government of Plateau state knows the importance of Igbos to the economic development of their state same with Benue, Lagos, Abuja, Rivers etc and these people have been acknowledging this fact all this while. We are stating facts here but you guys are saying we are bragging because of your envy for Igbos. The same way no African country can call the bluff of China without suffering economic consequences is the same way no state can call the bluff of Igbos in Nigeria without suffering. Our network is even growing and soon we will control trade and commerce across the whole sub-region with sole franchises. You guys can't compete with us and neither can you stop us so you are left with being envious But you know what young lady, we Igbos don't give a Bleep about your hate ![]() |
Sannisege:Afonjas are leading in terms of ritual killings and fraud while Edo is leading in terms of prostitution. Afonjas would have been leading in prostitution too but it's just that there women are too ugly and dirty to attract customers ![]() |
The terrorist called buhari is playing with fire. |
This country is completely fvrked up!! Just imagine the kind of rubbish happening every day?? If you are a young man and you are driving a flashy car you automatically become a yahoo boy regardless of whether you are a freelancer, affiliate marketer, Bitcoin seller or any other genuine Internet work you may be doing. Imagine what the family of this boy would be passing through now. Just this morning, I saw three heavily armed policemen harassing two young men on the road. They searched them thoroughly and couldn't find anything except some money in their pocket yet they forced them to enter a car they came with. When one of them tried to complain he got a heavy slap on his face!? This country is really disgusting to say the least. |
docadams:That would be dangerous and very bad for a state that relies so much on tourism. The Igbo elite has been complaining about the high crime rate in the state now including robbery and kidnappings without serious action by the state government until now they started moving out. |
Igbos are gradually becoming highly influential in many states across Nigeria. From Lagos to Rivers, Abuja to Cross River, Plateau to Benue etc. A time will come when we will be a force to reckon with just like it was in the first republic before the civil war. We can't be contributing significantly to the local economy of all these states without having a say. However, we should bring most of our investment home to the East. |
Lol, this one too Na monarch?? Just look at how hungry he looks Afonjas should come to the Igboland and see how monarchs are supposed to be. What would a monarch even be doing with a madman to start with If the man can look this hungry then I wonder how his palace will be like, I hope it won't be a mud house with red roof ![]() Poverty stricken people feeling funky ![]() |
peak115:The problem is mainly structural and began with British interference. Firstly, Rivers Niger and Benue were the natural boundaries that should have formed the regions but it wasn't used rather the Northern region was allocated a very large area relative to the South. Why would states like Kwara, Kogi and Benue be in the North? Secondly, while South has two major ethnic groups and other distinct but highly independent minorities, the North has just one major ethnic group and numerous minorities who were comfortable to accept Hausa fulani hegemony and cultural as well as language influence over them. This now gave the Hausa fulani an undue advantage over the Igbos and Yorubas coupled with a census that was rigged in their favour all in a bid to perpetuate their dominance over their Southern counterparts. The loss of Biafra by the Igbos worsened an already bad situation and the Hausa fulani now felt they are in complete control of Nigeria. They also used the military regimes to further strengthen their strangle hold on the rest of Nigeria. It would have been easier for the South to challenge them if the Yorubas are homogeneously Christians like the Igbos, but with the former having a huge percentage of its people as Moslems who are loyal to the Northern Moslems, it now forms a loophole for them to always manipulate the South easily through this fault lines. It would have been a balanced equation if the North East or North Central has a major ethnic group that could have countered the Hausa fulani hegemony. The only thing that can save the South now is restructuring to make everyone semi independent and grow at their own pace instead of being controlled by others. |
Ijaya123:You are the gullible one here yet you have the guts to call another person ignorant. Obasanjo was not prosecuted simply because no one took his case to the ICC and you can't compare Odi to the mass killings buhari has committed through the NA, Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen. There is enough evidence to nail buhari for the remainder of his life. It will be left for ICC to determine whether he is innocent or guilty but we are gathering the evidence already to present to them ![]() |
Nigeria is obviously fighting a lost battle in trying to keep Igbos in Nigeria. Their determination and doggedness Igbos are putting in this cause is something that can't be stopped. I see buhari spending the rest of his days in prison for war crimes. |
0balufonlll:Lol, ignorance in full HD display ![]() |
That ugly frog eyed baboon called tinubu will soon meet his Waterloo. He thinks he is smart but he can only deceive the sophisticated morons while Saraki is a hundred times smarter and honest than him. Abiola's shameful end will be a child's play compared to what will happen to him by the time the abo.kis will finish dealing with him. One thing he can be sure of is that he will never rule Nigeria but he can continue in his wild goose chase in the meantime. |
Lekewatt:I don't think I have time to bandy words with an almajiri. My friend go and argue with those in your low IQ league. |
This is unarguably the most senseless piece of article I have read in recent times. The person that wrote this trash needs serious help. Igbos did this, Igbos did that yet allow them to have Biafra and be on their own you all say no. What exactly is the problem of you lots in this obodo Nigeria? You have shown how much you hate someone yet you want that person to still remain with you, is that not madness?? |
nwaanambra1:I have been saying this same thing for quite some time now. Pictures of Igbo soldiers killed in the north by Boko Haram is being posted all over the social media on a daily basis yet we all know that Hausa and Fulani dominate the army, at least they constitute as much as 70% of the soldiers and despite that it is Igbos that are being sent to the north east to go and die!? This madness and wickedness has to stop immediately!!! What is the criteria for posting soldiers to fight Boko Haram? Is it when you are Igbo or Christian that will qualify you to be posted to the north east?? I think it's high time we already take a census of all the Igbos who have been killed since buhari took over so that the picture of what is going on can become clearer. Even before opening the post, I had a hunch it was going to be Igbo soldier and viola I was right!! |
centoke30:No, I believe the institution because of the simple fact that should that irritant be a staff of the institution and they come out to say otherwise then Igbos who are schooling there would still find out and that would be scandalous. That's the difference between north and south, this rubbish can only thrive in the north but not in the South. |
Igbos don't suffer fools gladly ![]() |
So we are supposed to use the little we have to continue subsidizing people who are bent on self destructing themselves?? How is that supposed to be our problem? We are talking about everyone being responsible and taking care of themselves yet this unfortunate man is here championing more government intervention to people that have been over pampered already. Is he saying that these people can't survive on their own if they are to be on their own? What is the population of Niger, Chad, Cameroon, CAR etc, are they not surviving?? This ignorant writer and their ilks are the ones indulging these northerners and feeding their over bloated sense of entitlement. If any region in Nigeria needs government intervention/investments it is the SE because there is absolutely no form of federal government presence in the region and that's unfair. |
Rubbish article!! The writer of this beautiful nonsense failed to blame those responsible for the misery of the north which is their elite and politicians rather he is here asking the federal government to do more for those that have enjoyed the bulk of federal government intervention and investments over the ages. Does this ignorant and myopic writer even know the number of government agencies and investments in states like Kaduna, Kano, Borno, Sokoto, Bauchi etc in the same region now can he possibly compare them with the South East that has virtually non?? If federal government intervention is the reason then the SE would have been the world's poorest region and not the North. Useless and rubbish article. |
kolnel:Lol, what an excuse! You mean the land wasn't in the master plan yet he was given approval by the same government authorities! Again, is it today that the radio station was built? Was it not the governor seated there in the studio of the same radio station (obviously when the going was good) why is it now that they are realizing that?? I can bet with a million bucks that the reason for this demolition is 100% political and nothing else!! |
femioyewale:Even the crowd were just watching sheepishly as they demolished the radio station, and they couldn't even put up any resistance to such inhuman act!? The elite will continue to ride roughshod on the masses as long as the masses continue to remain too docile and stvpid to resist them. Something is fundamentally wrong with the black man. |
Bluetooth2:Like seriously, you are actually defending this inhuman, irresponsible and wicked act by a governor who is obviously out on a vendetta mission!? Ask yourself, how is a canteen not being in the master plan enough reason to demolish the whole radio station including the entire building and equipment inside?? How about demolishing just the said canteen or sanctioning the radio station to pay a fine and equally ask them to remove the canteen within a given period of time?? This act of the Oyo state government is barbaric, reprehensible and utterly disgusting to say the least. Now let me ask you, did Ayefele build the radio station newly? Who approved it in the first place? Was it not the governor and Ayefele seated in the studio right inside the radio station? How many wrongly situated masts owned by the telecommunication giants have been demolished or even sanctioned in the same state?? Why victimize the owner because you feel you can use state resources to oppress people who are defenceless?? Ajimobi is petty and a tyrant, and I can bet that the reason for this wickedness is political and has little or nothing to do with public interest. |
