I don't know why you all get angry whenever there seems to be a unification between Igbos and minorities. The truth is that unlike you guys or the abo.kis, Igbos have a lot in common with our brothers in the Niger Delta than you all, at least, in terms of culture, religion, geographical location, cuisine, physical appearance, ideology etc. That's also the reason why abo.kis in the north call everyonet from this part "nyamiri" regardless of whether they are Igbo, Ibibio, Anang, Ijaw etc.
Mind you, we can care less if the minorities like us or not since it wont add or subtract from us. However, truth is stubborn and no matter how you try to subdue it, it will always rise again

I know Tari in person. We were course mates in Geology department back then in FUTO, 2004 set. Tari is indeed one intelligent Ijaw man I know and he has been very vocal in enlightening his people about what is really going on in Nigeria. The truth is that Igbos are indeed assets to any people because they are the real developers who are hardworking and business minded with little or no time for causing fights, wars, territorial expansion or idle gossiping. On the other hand, these traits I mentioned are very common with Hausa fulani and yorubas respectively. Even in far flung northern towns like Jos, Markudi, Gboko etc you will discover that the indigenes are always comfortable with Igbos than any other ethnic group. Even in precolonial times, the Igbos hardly waged wars against themselves or their neighbors because it just isn't in their nature because they have always practiced democracy rather than autocracy. Although, I understand the fear of the minorities that they would be greatly outnumbered by the Igbos if we are to have Biafra together, but such fears although may appear real on the face value but the Igbos are too busy with business and hustling to start looking for trouble or how to dominate others. Left for me, I would have preferred a Biafra of Igbos alone but we can still have a country with our brothers in the Niger Delta if we can establish and ensure mutual respect for one another.
Nigeria can never and would never develop because of structural problems, so the earlier we all realize that and chat a new course for its constituent parts, the better for us all.

All onshore and "extended nautical miles" oil resources are exclusive rights of the bordering states or province

Deep Offshore petroleum revenue will continue to be shared with the current formula but no more 13% derivation.

This will enable states to still have some funds even though it might be smaller but they will be prompted to use the money and invest in all those stuff usually listed as benefits of restructuring

The deep offshore money will be used to maintain the national army, judiciary and other items reserved for the federal government instead of waiting for only taxes from states which some restructuring Advocates propose.

That will make the federal government still powerful enough to instill national unity and cohesion

This is the way to go but Akwa Ibom go hear am because almost all their oil derivation comes from offshore

Kaduna refinery wasn't built to use Niger Delta oil, it has always used Venezuelan heavy crude oil right from inception, so saying that Kaduna refinery is not working because of pipeline vandalism is fallacy. Buhari is the one financing this Katsina refinery with money from Niger Delta yet he is building it at the border with Niger when the same Niger Delta that is laying the golden eggs is sitting on close to 40 billion barrels of crude oil reserves!! Anybody who genuinely believes that a phantom private investors are the ones building this refinery is an incurable I'd!ot and re.tard! There is no way a project worth $2 billion dollars would be signed purportedly by private investors without these same private investors being visible on ground and online prior to this. Dangote refinery in Lagos was defined from the onset and people knew about it and nothing was ever shrouded in secrecy. I read the report where it was said that NNPC was being invited as observer and I laughed. How a supposed president of a country will leave an oil rich region in the Niger Delta only to be financing a huge refinery at the border of Nigeria with Niger is disturbing to say the least. If truly Nigeria is a united country with one purpose then that refinery should have been built in Akwa Ibom that is relatively peaceful since they will use militancy in the core Niger Delta area as excuse but no, they chose to build it at the border of Nigeria with the aim of using another country's crude when we have excess reserve!! Niger Delta people will be foo.lish and irreversibly stvpid if they allow this great injustice on them to stand.
