This is why it will be difficult to beat USA,ordinary protest, they are out with military grade weapons, any country that hopes to defeat them will have to go house to house killing each person before total victory |
I am sure musicians and instrumentalists in the house won't have problems with this...can't remember the number of times I have recorded and listened to myself over and over again |
Making a Facemask is beyond just sewing clothes together, there are specific materials that must be used, there are quality control checks it must be subjected to |
Doctors won't shy away from their responsibilities, it's left for the government to do her own part by providing PPE |
The federal government has no clue, they are just making knee jerk decisions up and down |

Some people must be very sad with this news ![]() |
I am still wondering how someone in his right senses will believe Bishop Oyedepo was denied visa. How many people have you seen the embassy respond to rumours of them being denied visa? But for this case the embassy had to respond and to put it into perspective they didn't even mention Bovi's name, they categorically mentioned the BISHOP |
Still today, I am still wondering despite many times that the government has owed many workers leading to countless industrial actions, why is it that they have never owed the senators and other political office holders? Anyways, this can save someone's life: https://www.nairaland.com/5587121/re-what-when-snakes-bite |
KulKid:The FG pays everyone 19,800 |
FG pays every corper 19,800 naira only. The difference as with every other corper is the PPA.Most states pay corper Doctors about 50-70K, but some bigger companies can pay much higher. And this applies to every corper, your PAY depends on your PPA This link can be lifesaving https://www.nairaland.com/5587121/re-what-when-snakes-bite By the way, OP, the picture you used in this topic na wa o, looks like they are performing MVA |
Oma307:What point 4 means is that don't elevate the bitten part above the heart. For example someone bitten in the hand should not raise his hand, but rather keep it down.Someone bitten in the legs for example, could be transported by ambulance or car, while lying down in the ambulance or car, such person should not elevate his legs by putting it on a pillow for example, because by doing that, the legs will be above the heart. |
Many false information posted, please check this link for the correct first aid https://www.nairaland.com/5587121/re-what-when-snakes-bite#85004819 |
I decided to create this topic in response to this thread https://www.nairaland.com/5586684/what-when-snake-bites-there As a medical doctor, I noticed many people posted false information as regards managing a snake bite 1.Don't panic - most snakes in are not even venomous. 2. Move away from the snake, don't go after it. 3.Wash the area under running water 4.Keep the part bitten below the heart 5. Go to a good hospital as soon as possible. DON'Ts 1.Never tie a part bitten by a snake because you will end up cutting off blood supply to that area, and in 3 hours the area becomes irreversibly dead. I personally witnessed a case of a child who lost the limb because of this and the painful part was that he was bitten a non-venomous snake 2.Do not cut the bitten part open with sharp objects like knife or blades. This could cause other even more serious infections like tetanus. As a Doctor,I can tell you I will rather be bitten by a snake than have tetanus. 3.Don't suck out the venom. This could also cause infection of the wound and the person sucking the wound is at risk too 4.Don't apply ice, it reduces blood supply to the bitten area. I hope this helps someone. |
I hope the killers are sought out. |
