Pls Let me state categorically here, that all these Yoruba touts crying all over Nairaland here just because Igbos are not as senseless as you are to give you the much craved opportunity to break into Igbo owned superstores, which will even lead to your miserable deaths anyway, the Igbo man will continue to be your source of envy and pain for the rest of your miserable existence. We worked hard to be who we are and you all can choke on that fact.
NB: All of you Yoruba touts all over Nairaland crying over my mention...I said and I repeat...the Igbo will forever be your source of envy and pain! We have seen war, been to war, fought war, died in war, survived war and came out of war to stay on top of all life indices against all odds without any government input...that is the spirit of the Igbo man which you will forever admire from the distance of your miserable existence! Go ahead and choke on this fact. Kà a yẹ ọ́. Àwọn tí ni ẹ́ ò ní jèrè ẹ. Ọmọ ìran kí ran |

This same man has now turned into an angel, that the south-easterners wants us to vote into power. God forbid bad thing. oneglobe: SUB: PETER OBI- A Hope Betrayed By Edwin Chukwujekwu & Nonyelum Nwokoye
CONGRESS OF PATRIOTIC ANAMBRA CITIZENS
conpanc@yahoo.com
‘’Time they say sweeps everything along and can bring good as well as evil, evil as well as good.’’ Nicolo Machiavelli.
Since 1999 Anambra would have been a good example of how Nigeria will be except for bad leadership and high powered deception by the political class, thus betraying the hopes of the people.
Today, as the state navigates towards 2010, we as concerned Anambra citizens are worried about the future of the state and the fact that the impoverished people traumatized by poverty may be incapable of standing or voting against their oppressor- in - chief .
Otherwise, how do we explain the audacity of the ‘’Continuity Project’’ being powered by the incumbent governor Mr Peter Obi in the face of general insecurity, decayed infrastructure, bad roads, parlous educational system, unending strike action by the state work force, hunger and starvation in so many homes , death in hospitals , disgraceful image the state acquired on account of non performance of his government and other unimaginable consequences of the wickedness inflicted on the people.
How will the people progress from this point without a change? Our mission is to cause change and enthrone good governance in the state .
There is a common saying that ‘’you can fool the people one time but you cannot fool all the people all the time’’.
Obi’s four years tenure has exposed his crass ignorance to the rudiments of good governance, incompetence and lack of values for human capital development.
As stake holders in the Anambra common wealth ,we are duty bound to alert our fellow citizens of the danger of continuing to allow a ruthless drug baron who ought to be facing justice to govern us for another four years.
In furtherance, we give 10 reasons why Obi’s continuity project should be stopped by our collective will except he offers explanation on the following key issues:
1. Those who knew Peter Obi will attest to the fact that he has been a drug dealer beginning from his days as an undergraduate at UNN. He was hardly attending lectures and only managed to graduate with a third class in Philosophy after spending 12 years in the University.
2. His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is currently languishing in jail in far away London . This is the major cause of strain between Obi and his in-laws. It is on record that his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because he Dubem served jail term for drug trafficking because of Peter. advertisement
3. Obi should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator, Governor Ibim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River State whom he helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State government thus contributing to the under development of the state.
4. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the circumstances surrounding his father’s death which remains his best kept secret. Before then we can reveal that Obi’s father was drowned to death by Obi’s associates in the drug trade whom he short-changed in a business deal prompting the mafias to kill the old man whom they drowned bounded hands and feet with bricks round his neck.
5. Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state , ‘’Saint’’ Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira from the state FAC accounts)
6. Just as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (OOO) Cult sect where his wife is a known member. It is also on record that Peter Obi met the wife at a night club in Auchi . The lady had two children from two different men -an Albino and a Ghanaian. The affirmed Catholic is yet to wed his wife in the church.
7. Obi is yet to explain the mystery behind the 250 million naira that was found in the possession of his aides. He is yet to produce the contractor and publish the contractual agreement that stipulates that this very contractor will be paid in cash and also a reference to any other known precedents. Not even the famous late Barkin Zuwo of Kano State paid contractors in cash.
8. Obi should explain why he has continued to loot the resources of the state using his brother, Ndibe Obi, Ejike Onwusogbulu and a certain Chidi Agbapu -a Lagos based stock broker as a conduit for money laundering while the youths in Anambra remain unemployed;
9. Obi was elected governor on the platform of APGA and it is on record that he never convened an APGA meeting thereby destroying the entire party structure. Obi should explain to party faithfuls and loyalists why he destroyed the party;
10. Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra what happened to the state local government allocations and why Anambra under Obi is the only state in Nigeria without elected local government officers in place?

Hendrixky: After this election we are going to be aware of certain things 1)the problem of Nigeria is tribalism and not all about religion but mostly tribalism And hausas are not really tribalistic the way we thought But the yorubas are more tribalistic
Because as at the time Buhari was sick and travelling for medical attention we all was clamouring for him to hand over to a healthy and vibrant Osinbajo. We regretted our action of being stupid to elect a sick old man
But now we have a vibrant and healthy Peter obi contesting but the yorubas because of tribalism wants us to install tinubu again knowing fully well that the world will mock us
The worse part of it is that the pain and memory of the incessant travel for medical check up by Buhari is still very fresh in our mind.not like it happened 20 years ago. It just happened yesterday..
And for all those quoting me. Please am not any of this tribe not igbo, yoruba or hausa. I'm from the South South Kàa yẹ ó...... 😏😏😏 |

The north have decided to play back the same cards... Put Tinubu there and have him kick the bucket few months in the office and change power to north..... Literature › Words Frequently Used In Nigeria Not Found In The Dictionary! by profola2be(op): 9:07pm On Nov 06, 2017 |
*WORDS FREQUENTLY USED IN NIGERIA NOT FOUND IN THE DICTIONARY*
1. *Installmentally:* This “word” is a favourite of many Nigerians, but, sadly, it simply does not exist. You won’t find it any reputable dictionary. The correct thing to say when “installmentally” comes to your mind is in _"instalments"_ or _"by instalments"_. *2. Plumpy:* Nigerians use _“plumpy”_ when they want to say that someone is chubby or slightly fat. The correct expression is _plump_.
3. *Disvirgin:* This particular “word” is used severally on a daily basis, especially by Nigerian men when they intend saying that a woman has lost her virginity to a guy. The correct word to use, however, is _"deflower"_, because “disvirgin” is not a word.
4. *Crosscarpeting:* This is a favourite of Nigerian politicians and political analysts alike. They use it when they want to say that a politician has dumped his political party for another party, usually a rival party. The right terms to use when describing this scenario are _"party switching"_, _"defection"_ and _"crossing the floor"_ and not “cross-carpeting” or “crosscarpeting.”
5. *Go-Slow :* The word go-slow exists, but not in the way Nigerians use it. A “go-slow,” in the peculiarly Nigerian context, is a situation in which road traffic is very sluggish due to vehicle queues. However, go-slow in the English language actually means _"an industrial tactic used by employees whereby they intentionally reduce activity, productivity and efficiency in order to press home some demands"_. When this happens, you say that work in the office, factory or organization is at a go-slow. The correct terms to use when road traffic is very sluggish due to vehicle queues are _"traffic jam"_, _"traffic congestion"_, _"gridlock"_, and (less technically) _"hold-up"_, not “go-slow.”
6. *Cunny:* “Cunny” is not found in authoritative dictionaries, but it can be found in some slang dictionaries. Over there, it is a slang used to refer to a woman’s private part. The correct term to use is _"cunning"_ (which is used to describe someone that is being deceitful or crafty) and not “cunny.”
7. *Opportuned:* There is nothing like “opportuned” anywhere in the English language, but that has not stopped its blatant use by all and sundry in Nigeria, including journalists and writers. The correct word is _"opportune"_. The word opportune is an adjective; therefore it has no past tense. An adjective has no past tense. However, some verbs can function as adjectives or adverbs in a sentence. These verbs are called participles and they do have past tenses. They are not pure adjectives. Examples of participles are fattened, amused, disgusted, mystified, overwhelmed, upset and bored. Be that as it may, opportune is a pure adjective and not a participle, therefore it has no past tense. Opportune means appropriate or well-timed.
8. *Alright:* “Alright” is a misspelling of the term _"all right"_. All right is used when you want to say that something is adequate, acceptable, agreeable or suitable. To hardcore English language linguists, “alright” is not a word. However, its usage is gaining traction and it’s increasingly becoming acceptable. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary – which is considered the gold standard among American English speakers – has recently drawn a lot of criticisms for its permissiveness when it began indexing some otherwise colloquial and street language terms, including “alright.” Most linguists disagree with the gradual acceptance of “alright” as a word by the public and even the media, while those in the minority are “alright” with it.
9. *Wake-Keeping:* “Wake-keeping” exists only in the imagination of a few English speakers. As a matter of fact, there is no such thing as “wake-keeping.” The correct word is _"wake"_ and not even “wake-keep.” Both “wake-keeping” and “wake-keep” are ungrammatical.
10. *Screentouch:* This bad grammatical expression gained currency in Nigeria and neighbouring West African countries with the influx of made-in-China stylus pen touchscreen not-so-smart phones in the mid 2000s. It was a novelty then; many in Nigeria had not seen it – or even thought such advanced technology was possible – before. So, they looked for a name to call it and “screentouch” came to mind, after all you just touch the screen and it starts working. In case you’ve still not figured it out yet, the correct thing to say is _"touchscreen"_ and not screentouch.
11. *Trafficator*
There is no word like this. Nigerians use it when driving and want to alert other road users that the driver wants to turn to either left or right. The correct term is _"indicator"_ as a sign to indicate that the driver is either turning right or left.

What is on my mind? The love of an Igbo man.
When an Igbo man loves you, there is nothing you can tell him until he decides to withdraw that love. When an Igbo man loves you, he loves like you're the last two people on earth. His love is very practical. Odi'kwa tangible. Very feelable. He may not have time for too many words or romantic sturvs, but you see that love? You can take it to the bank. Literally and figuratively.
His love is not in audio version. If you fall in love with an igbo man who loves you, forget it. Go and sleep nwannem because heaven has already begun for you. Nwoke's love is loaded. Dear friends, I'm not here to take your time because there is no time to check time. O ga eme gi voom naya. This love is solid. All you have to do is to wete yourself and enjoy the love. |

Family › I Started To Have SEX With My Daughter Out Of Frustration by profola2be(op): 6:18am On Jun 30, 2016 |
A 41-year-old man, Raymond Anyanwu, who reportedly raped and impregnated his 15 years old daughter, said that frustration led him into the act. Anyanwu, who committed the offence at Ajao Estate, Isolo, said: “I started sleeping with my 15-year-old daughter sometime around January, after I lost my job. “I am a transporter, but I took to alcohol after I lost my job and could not meet up with my responsibilities as the head of the house.” Vanguard gathered that Raymond Anyanwu sleeps with his daughter when his wife has gone to work. However, trouble started after the victim’s aunty suspected that she was pregnant. After carrying out a test at home, they discovered she was pregnant. The victim, it was learned, revealed that her father was responsible for her pregnancy, and the mother decided to play it down as a family issue after her husband beat her up, warning her not to disclose the incident to anyone. Vanguard learned that Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development alerted the police and the suspect was arrested last Wednesday. Meanwhile, the victim’s mother had arranged for an abortion, which had been carried out before she was rescued and taken into protective custody by the Lagos State government. The case, which is currently being investigated at the Gender Unit of Lagos State Police Command, will be charged to Ikeja Magistrate’s Court today.
