The real fact was that a Nigerian guy had a fight with his girlfriend also a Nigerian (Edo), both of them injured themselves, the lady and her girlfriend brought some guys to the Nigerian guy apartment by 5 am, but they could not find the guy at home

The hoodlums took any Nigerian guys they met in the compound, and forced them to the main road, by this time crowd has gathered and these hoodlums claimed that these five Nigerians killed a Togolese woman while the real fact was it was a fight between Nigerian guy and his Nigerian girlfriend that happened the previous night

The news spread all over Togo that Nigerians has killed Togolese due to radio announcement and they started manhunt for Nigerians to attack

They attacked the five guys they held, stone them with rocks and was ready to lynch them in the presence of several policemen who claimed they could not stop the attack because the crowd was too many

Then there was reinforcement of policemen and the lynching was stopped and arrests were made

They injured guy are now in the hospital and they police discovered the truth that no one was killed and the case is between a man and his girlfriend which both of them are Nigerians

The Togo government have taken over the matter and paying the medical expenses of injured five Nigerian guys and they made some arrest

Despite the massive shortcomings in the police and SARS in particular,they are not as senseless as to delay a guy going for an embassy interview,drag him into their van and demand N200k.

I will like to update my knowledge on what the tenancy law of Ogun state say on eviction of tenant...My tenant have breached our agreement on many grounds....1. it is written in the agreement booklet that a month before the expiration of tenancy a letter should be written to the landlord or renewal of rent 2. We agreed that the rent will be paid yearly buh now they seems to pay like six month rent after three months of tenancy expiration...I'm not cool with their paying pattern....i told one of them about it and he said "oga the money I paid you have atleast not expired....wait till July then I ll pay up the balance" whereas his tenancy expired in December last year and he paid half amount in march this year.....it is in the terms of our agreement that he ll only be given one month quit notice...the agreement was not served by a lawyer as it is btw d landlord n the tenant only....experience ogun state landlords n lawyers advice needed please
