Oh well, this one shouldn't hurt anyone but I can bet a tidy sum that most Nigerians have been served fuel of 1050 naira, in place of 1500. Or fuel of 1080 naira in place of 1800.

That one is mostly common with cab drivers, cause they're the ones most likely to buy fuel at random amounts. Whatever amount isn't a round figure like 2K, 3K, 4K, etc.., and I can comfortably assure you that you've been cheated at one point in time or the other.

Fuel pumps naturally display three or four zeros when cleared. You request for 2500 fuel. Attendant inputs 2050 on the side panel. He pumps and you're staring, when it gets to 1900, he reduces the nozzle intensity to the first step so it enters slowly, without you noticing. Meter counts and stops at 2050 naira instead of 2500. You're staring hard, but you can see a "2" and a "5", so you just pay and smile away cause the extra zero after the main amount makes it look like 2500..

Some attendants are even brutal enough to sell you 200 naira fuel as 2K. All they have to do is dispense it slowly, engage you in a brief conversation to know if there was fuel in your tank or it's empty. Once you have fuel, you're the perfect prey. Once sale is done, you drive away, hoping your odometer will indicate once you keep driving.

Telling you is going to amount to divulging trade secrets in an open space. About two of the methods in question are even mostly employed by managers of NNPC outlets in cahoot with one or two fuel attendants. It basically can only be discovered by the DPR (Department of Price Regulators) that doubles as the body responsible for constantly checking the "completeness" of meters dispensing fuel in stations.

Sadly, that body hardly keeps up with its responsibilities, and when they eventually do, they simply take bribes and drive away to the next station.

Believe an Agbero @ ur own risk.. All this damage control is just for Lagos not to get involved in the nlc strike, and it is temporary because u can't argue with an Agbero or take him to court if things changes.

Lastly.. Our level of societal decadence is mind blowing.. See how low we have become as a society, to be at the mercy of THUGS....

Oga, this is 4:50 am, when time reach 7:00am, go to your street and start counting the number of people that will pass through your street till 12pm, I can tell you that the information you will gather might be more beneficial to your life than this thread you opened....

At least if you don't have anything to do with your time, you can use that time to help Nigeria deal with the census data from your street and save Nigeria some cost, I also believe Tinubu might later give you the job to count the entire population of Nigeria from street to street for free as support to his government, at least that will keep you busy till he leaves office and save Nigeria over 900 billion naira.

I have been borrowing from this app for sometime now until I decided to stop due to the one week duration they do give and the high interest rate during this interval ignore and stop being a loan addit

After 2days an agent of them chatted me up and told me about the increment in my loan to 50k and and extended duration of 1 month, I told him if its not what he said then I will wait he said no problem. He even said I should carry him along while doing it.

I went to the app clicked on it and saw 55k to pay 66k and after I did it I received an alert of 38k in my account instead of the 55k and a one week duration at that to pay 66k.

I chatted that agent to tell him about the outcome but he ignored me, I called him up he refused to answer, I told him I want to refund the money because I don't need it, as I did tell him initially yet he was ignoring me.

After three days I contacted another agent of theirs and told him about the incident he later gave me an account number to refund the principal, which I did immediately

Fast forward to one week later these people started threatening the hell of my life that I must pay those interest, that is non of their business. One even openly told me that they are trained to Deceive their customers and tell them lies do at to attract them.

Even till today am still receiving threatening messages from them

please I need an appropriate place to channel this. thanks
