inspired_m:How can u claim a C350 @ 542 Horses. Even a C63 is about 400+ That's my gripe. Do your thing!. Benzes touch my soul. Incorrect info throws me overboard. I will let you go. Have a wonderful night ![]() |
Mr Inspire, I will let you go back to your business. This car is a nice car. No doubt. However its a C350 with AMG package but not AMG C-Class. It cannot, i repeat cannot make 500+ horsepower! Here's what the exhaust will look like if its a full blown AMG.
|
I am talking of sales volume here. Better vehicles still come to the US i know. There are low level Benzes and a little more variations in Europe (Like no leather etc, small engine, Diesel engines manual gear etc), hence they can sell more volume. All the ones that come here are "fully Dressed" for the occassion. For the electronically limitation. All you need to do is replace the Chip that came with the car brainbox and walla! you are free!!! Theres speed limit in the US, hence manufacturer have to comply with the law. The Autobahn have none. Dinan chips will set you free. No problem. When i see the engine compartment and exhaust (If your exhaust is not dual on each side) You might be blowing a lot of , |
Ok. But for your info, there C300 and C350 AMG package here too. Much alive and well. US is the largest Benz market after Germany but more mature and saturated market hence cars coming here are loaded to the brim. Will be more that willing to send you the features on a C350 AMG package from the US. You can do your comparison. But for your horsepower claim. Hmmmmmm Will wait to see the engine too. ![]() |
Avalon will be top on my list. The downside is that its a 6 cylinder engine. Uses More petrol. However since you are used to an Acura before. it shouldnt be a problem. Petrol consumption are similar. Avalon is a great car tho. Next is the Honda. Last will be mazda if your funds are low. Good luck |
@ Boyeoscar, What kind of picture is this? Lets see the trucks better. Front, engine, tires, interior (if possible). You took the pics like the truck doesnt belong to you. You can do better |
Inspire, Be to differ here. Pardon my being naive here. Befoer you start calling me names or so.Wasnt AMG suppose to have a different fender flare/sculpture? Can we kindly see the engine and the Exhaust pics. A C350 with a 500+ horsepower? Hmmmmm A C350 with AMG package is NOT the same as C-Class AMG (Which should technically be a C63). Or may be i just dont know. Engine and Exhaust pics pls |
put pics and prices |
@ poster, Laws have been changed now. it is 10yr rule now. So u can still send cars that is 1998/up this year (you have only few weeks) From next year u have 1999/up. As long as the car is on its way before the cut off. u will be fine. Example if u wanna send a 1998, as long as its already on the boat by the end of this year, you will be fine. Even if it arrives next year. To answer your question, your 1999 truck is good thru next year december cos its still under the 10yr rule. Law was changed few months ago. Good luck |
@ Dieter, Good info. What you will do is that you have to pay to get it shipped. it will about 1300-1500. im guessing. They cant allow u to put it in the tipper cos it will add to the weight and might throw off loading process. The ship cant be overloaded no matter what. Also it wouldnt be in their interest to let everyone load their trucks otherwise they will be out of the money they would have charge you in moving the camry ![]() So how much is the truck costing to ship? It will be nice if you can share the dimension and weight of the truck. just curious. Enjoy that baby. Or are u selling it? |
Hmmm. i dont have any to sell. but you wanna pay 1.3m for a 03/04 Avensis? Sorry to wake you up from your dream. You cant even get a corolla for that price. Good luck anyway. |
dieter:Dont hoard the info on the company. The least you could do is share it and be helpful to others who are looking to ship. As a matter of fact i say follow up with your experience and let others know. That is what this forum is all about. Good luck |
ToToChoper:Took the word out of my mouth. Was gonna recommend them too. Havent used them before but spoke wt Gail before and they seem like a very solid company. They broker for Hoegh Autoliners who are one of the biggest company going to Nigeria via RORO. Getting a booking on RORO is the tough part especially during holidays/Xmas time. Good luck. |
@ dieter, you can drop me email of your number. i can try to help you out if need be. I'm not a shipper tho. The truck will run around 5-6000 dollars to get home. Be ready! However, one thing i kno is that you need to have booked a space with a shipping line (tru a freight forwarder/agent) b4 taking the car to the port. Otherwise it will be rejected without a "dock receipt" A dock receipt is a proof that a booking has been made. You might be better off leaving the truck wt the dealer to get a booking. otherwise you will be paying twice for towing back and forth. My email is in my profile. Good luck |
u are addressing this as if you are in the US. You need to say petrol station |
what is the measurement length and breath? |
So that makes it about 9.3million/plot Wao. Good luck in selling that. |
u forgot to say the sale/lease prices Better still a picture will help. Wl be waiting |
FLORIDACAR:@ poster. Be careful of these types of posting. No phone number, no company's real e-mail. No physical address. Whenever u deal wt any company. make sure u really know who they are. Buyers beware. |
@ Dieter, Pls give me a brief info on the truck. Are u located in Nigeria? Whos got the truck etc. You are actually in luck, there is a service from Jacksonville to Lagos. I dont live in florida nor im a shipping agent but can point you in the right direction. |
@ Ndipe, I dont necessarily think so tho. Beg to differ. Different strokes for different folks. If you have the necessary equipment thats up to snof. you can make it. Connection or not. All an event palnner will do is PLAN. Someone has to provide equipment to make it happen. Thats where you come in. If you have tier 1 tents, generators, moving van etc. you will make it. |
if you wanna go to dubai, here is my analysis. What is the plane ticket price? Hotel cost and estimated transportation cost? Add all up and what does it add up to compare to the amt you will be spending to buy goods. Example if all the cost adds up to N100,000. Lets say you plan to spend N1 million. This means that your cost alone is 10% of good. hence when you price your merchandise, you have to price above 10% markup. In other words, anything above the first 10% is your actual profit. So what it boils down to is that the more amount you spend on merchandise, the less markup margin will be. i.e if you spend N2million to buy thing, it means that your profit will be anything abouve the 5% markup etc etc. Dont forget other costs like shipping the goods back, customs in Naija, transportation to your shop etc. If you dont keep these things in mind, it will look that you are making money at first but in actuality you are really losing. Dont be a sucker. Travelling to Dubai is not always profitable if you dont plan well. May i ask what you plan buying there? Good luck in your ventures. |
what city in florida is the vehicle located in? |
My pleasure. This is the purpose of a forum. Each one teach one |
Fhemmmy:This is how it works. Everytime you go for repair at a big dealership, your mileage will be recorded. Even if you don't go to big dealership, your vehicle's registration will have to be renewd yearly. You will be required to do something similar to "road worthiness" or "emission test" to know that your car is not polluting etc and its fit to be on the road. The govt approved station that conducts the test will record your mileage. CARFAX collect all these data to compile their list. If you do an emission test a year after you bought the car and its like lets say 52k miles. Then you sold it thereafter. Someone bought it and roll it back to lets say 32k miles. The next time the data is collected (from emission test or so) CARFAX will "flag" that mileage reading. Understand? Another good source of data is insurance. The keep track when you insure your vehicle. If you have a full coverage. A physical inspection will be done to record the mileage. So if you crash the car and its a total loss, the insurance will pay you based on the mileage of the vehicle. so you don't have to report anything. It will be tracked. This no be Naija ![]() |
@ ziontrain, I sure hope that you're being sarcastic rather than you two being strange bedfellas. I'm watching. There will be no ambiguity, mincing of words or beating around be bush on my part. I will be front and center about my opinion. No offence Its less of an issue with me if someone is good or bad. Although i would rather take good at any time. Most important to me is frankness. Im goin to take your But believe me, Still here ![]() |
Busy_body:No one is trying to bait Ziontrain. Hes just wishy washy. He is too clouded by his self interest or latent intention that he changes his position zillion times. Please read this thread below. Read his post on the 5th entry of page 2. He was trying to get Inspire to sell his car hence his protective tone https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-177435.32.html Its ok to have a vested interest but don't insult people's intelligence like you are a by-stander trying to do right. I see your tru color mr ziontrain (or whatever your name is) |
ziontrain:bootl*c**r! |
Dont confuse a snapshot when new to "long-term" snapshot in terms of reliability, resale value etc. The corolla and civic are still the king any day. If you as an investor wants to bet your $$ on a car that can guarantee a good resale value in 2yrs. Where would you put ur money? A 2003/2004 corolla still sells for up to 2mill. That explains things. ![]() |
@ Seller, Its shouldnt be a big deal to supply the VIN. at least to shut them up Unless of course , ![]() |
What is the sale price per Kg? |
@ Fhemmmy There are ppl who give free VIN check on this forum. Its just a buyer's safeguard. Thats all. |
