Just saw ur postng. I will try to answer your questions as much as i can.

First, i dont thik that vehicles in Canada has more features than th US. US is the largest Benz mkt. With that said, they wont make inferior models to a very importatnt mkt.

Theres no 1yr ban in exporting of vehicles. (who told you that?). You can ship a brand new car out as long as its urs.

Cost of shipping depends on where you are shipping from. IKf yo ship from eastern part of the US (New York, New Jersey or Baltimore). It will be cheaper and get home faster.

That cant be said for shipping from where im at here in California. Canada drive on Left wheel and US and as Nigeria. No conversion needed.

S-Runner is a differnt kind of animal. Its a far cry from a Tacoma 4x4. Just for your info.

I will let u know that S-runner is a little scarce.Even here in California which happen to have the most number of cars in the US. It is a special purpose "race truck" geared towards the younger crowd. So the idea that you will "pick up" will probably not arise.

Also u happen to have the wrong picture for it. Find below the real picture of S-Runner. I am just hoping that you know the difference between S-Runner and the rest of the Tacomas. Look at the wheels. Those are factory wheels. Special body cladding. Balck like you like it. Its not mine. Just got it off the net. I don't have one now.

Congrats, more power to you. Will like to know if you get the truck at the auction or thru a regular dealer? What did the measurements and weight on the truck finally came to? Any info on the shipping line thats actually carrying the truck home? I am not talking of the agent but the actual shipping line.

Im thinking of dabbling into truck and will have to get from either florida or other east coast state. Hence my asking all these questions.

1. Did you see a Lagos plate number (MZ 985 KJA) on that car or not?

2. Did the poster indicate it's fresh out of the port or Naija used?

3. Do you have to "clear" a Naija used ride too?

If it's been registered, why would it go for N1.75m (same price of a fresh-out of-the-port 2005 Toyota Corolla)?

May be i am coming a bit hard on you. However u must admit that the offer price is a tad too low. Even at Naija used, the mileage is very low. It combines both usage in US and Naija.

I would have expected u to request Vin info, condition etc (unless accident car) before offer. Naija used doesnt automatically equals price crash especially on corollas. Reliable, low cost to maintain etc.

I dont have a bone in this fight. Dont kno seller from adam. But be fair.

to me from here its looking like the car was a "theft recovery". Meaning that the car was stolen. the original owner was paid off by the insurance and was later recovered by the police before it was dismantled by those who stole it.

The carfax didnt say. That what is giving me a reason to believe that the car was stolen then found. Hence, reported as "total loss". Another reason a "total loss" can be reported on carfax is when the car is involved in accident and damaged beyond repair. This car doesnt look like that.

The last odometer reading was about 50 miles ago. So it happened not too long ago. One question: Was the car repaired for body damage at all?

here its goes. The one u called one and half is appriopriately called either "Extra-Cab" or "Access-Cab" here in the US. Below is a picture. The first picture is the Extra Cab while the next one is called a "Crew Cab". Like i mentioned earlier, the Crew cab didnt go into production until 2004. The extra cab has been in production since 2000 and still in production till date.

In other words from 2004 and up, you can either buy extra cab or crew cab (4-door). Before that you have only option of Extra cab.

Lets start. Leather is not a standard option even on XLE models nor V6. The SE dont come standard with leather either. Reason? some aninmal lovers dont like leather stuff and they tend to crack in the long run if u dont take good care of them well.

Also Navigation is not a standard option. Not on any toyota. Leather and Navigation is around $2000 extra each. Making it a total of 4,000. some ppl will tend to skip that.

Check your facts. Once again i come in peace. Others are more than welcome to weigh in.

Please be aware that Tundra Double cabin didnt begin in the US until 2004. I am not sure if Europe has Tundra Pickup. Im just talking about US here.

a bit of advise. You need to put Vin Nunber, Mileage and review the price. Even tho you say its "negotiable". However it might scare off people. Just my 2 cents
