Congrats bro! For me, I can sense an urgency, perhaps, desperation to buy the domain from the second end user since she saw the domain was pending sale. You should have taken advantage of that and ask for at least $499 telling her that's the price you agreed with the first end user and the Labor Day Promo has elapsed. I think she would have understood and try to buy at a much higher price to beat the first person. Just my opinion tho.

But i think i have held that domain for over six months with different Outbounding for $300,250,200

So i just wanted to let it go, and besides i never wanted to be greedy because she might be a new customer if you understand what i mean.

Sent an outbound for labor day sale for this domain for $200 during the labor day promo and an offer came in for $100 i accepted but she didn't pay and it was still showing pending sale.
I was waiting for Dan to cancel the transaction, when i got a reply from another enduser, that it seems I have sold the domain but if it is possible she would love to get the domain name, even if it is for another price.

I told her i can cancel the transaction with the other buyer if she can pay 250 for the domain. She replied yes that how do she proceed with payment.
I canceled the previous transaction immediately and readjusted my price to $250.
Asked her to visit the domain address, And she bought it immediately. For $250.

I saw this in one of the groups where front running is being discussed and currently Nigerians are being mentioned. Yet to get to the root of this. if some us are truly doing that, let's stop, It's a bad and illegal practice. For those who don't know what that means, It's a process of sending out mail on names you haven't bought or yet to expire/ pending delete to see if some buyers will show interest before buying. You shouldn't offer what you don't own. Yogi is also being accused as we speak. some top domainers are threatening to pull out of namescon all because a popular front-runner has been selected to speak at the event. I feel bad whenever Nigerians are being mentioned in anything negative

I am fully in support of the Doctrine of
nemo dat quod non habet, but remember he who assert must prove. Therefore if we can have proves that Nigerians are doing that, then we do know how to tackle it.

But we hope those statements are not just defamatory statements and publications on Nigerians.

So Boss help us fight this and ask them for proves to show Nigerians are involved in that.

Mehn helping someone outbound is good, it's not all about the money, but the experience you would get in communication and negotiation. Especially if you haven't gotten enough funds to start your own domain journey. Or if you have a limited portfolio.

I encourage people to help one another in Outbounding if you can, not necessarily for the money.

I have friends that at a time were helping me outbound, without any fixed percentage and I pay them 20k or 25k max per sale depending on the sale amount.

Now they are established on their own, i send them names to buy, price their domains for them, and negotiate sales when needed. And they have started making sales, which i report some of their sales. And they are very free to approach me on any situation, like the one i helped closed a recent sale for.

One approached me to send him 3 of my names to. Outbound for me last week and i did. The relationship is there.

So i advice you help someone outbound if you have the resources and less busy, because it will help you learn, foster your relationship with the person you are Outbounding for, and above all, sharpen your communication and negotiation skill.

I have a big portfolio that some names i have not even outbounded for them for some months. So if you can help someone i advice you do, not necessarily for the money but to keep yourself busy. Because Money will come.

The ist offer came few months ago, after ist Outbounding, but she insisted that she could only pay through GoDaddy. I told her to come up with her offer and i will sell to her through GoDaddy.

She messaged me again recently and said she can pay $200 through GoDaddy. I told her i can't do GoDaddy because of the high escrow fees.
That she should deal with me through Dan or epik as she can look up their Trustpilot reviews.
She came back asking how will she get the domain at GoDaddy because that's where all her domains are. I told her to buy it from epik and transfer it to GoDaddy at her own convenience. Didnt hear from her for a day or two despite reminders because i have adjusted price.
I sent her another mail that if i dont get her reply am re-adjusting my price again.

Re-adjusted the price and did a few outbound yesterday and this offer came in $350, i replied $399 and let's seal the deal and they bought the domain.

I am a fast talker naturally and i think it has helped me so much. And i just go straight to point after introduction.
