sufferNsmiling: When I tried to warn nigerians that the economy is sinking. They said I was mad they said I am a kenya or ghanaian. Now look at their president he is now warning nigerians that the economy is in a bad shape. When I told nigerians that they were illiterate they did not believe me they went to support thieves and criminals
we have heard u its a good thing he has called his governors attention we are still the best for now
rvp20183: For 28b dollars project that a very humble start.I like the sign posts better.
I don't know if this was a joke but am laughing hahahaha what did u expect ?? that the buildings will fall from the sky and on top of the site gbammm!!!
don't worry when we are done with all this projects Nigeria will have no competition in Africa with respect to south afro q of course they have done well for them selves with how Nigeria has spread development across regions it won't be hard to finally get other places looking as good as this
u can finally tell those ur american friends that wakanda is in nigeria
the last picture is that of golf and centenary city in Enugu its low budget just like tatu city see how its coming up
rvp20183: I am just seeing a gate. Show me work done on horizontal infrastructure before we proceed.
like I promised horizontal or areal pictures of centenary city
I must point out how abuja is green this pictures where taken as at 24th November u can see that u can see the road markings and how the site is divided into parts whispers a well planned city soon foundations and drainages will be set and towers rise from there if they haven't been done already and roads tarred won't take of u said
I will keep on updating the group about this project
rvp20183: I am just seeing a gate. Show me work done on horizontal infrastructure before we proceed.
show me konza city first and I promise I will ask the centenary city handler for aerial pictures or drive from jos to abuja and take the pictures my self
rvp20183: Those are wet dream - centenary city will never get off ground and same with Enyimba - Eko City 15 yrs later looks desolate. You think you can just build Dubai out of air - where will people find jobs? who will be opening offices in Enyimba or Centenary city?
You need to start build industrial parks like Ethiopia are doing. This is where we are playing catch up.We have huge industrial parks planned - 1) Leather industrial park in Nairobi metro 2) Industrial park in Mombasa & Naivasha & several places.
I laugh in Swahili work has began at centenary city and I will keep on updating this thread the first towers at the centenary city will be buhari towers
my be enyimba city might fail the contract was given to Chinese but aba as an industrial zone deserves what it got and am sure they won't let it slide all nigerias project as private sponsored except enyimba
rvp20183: Why do you need that mega-project. Is this another Abuja. Lagos cannot be fixed or what? I mean EkoCity is already looking like one big failure...it will take so many years to get all those skyscrappers built - there is no pent up demand for office spaces in Lagos. There is already an oversupply because there are just few companies moving to LAGOS.
It like attempting to build Dubai out of the air
Tatu city is a complete city - where it's 250k residence live, work and play there. The same with Northland city. Konza is technology park. Big difference.
why??
let me answer this question to seperate the men from the children not just one big project three big projects eko Atlantic centenary city and enyimba economic city
let me help the Kenyans this is tatu city I like progress and I would never hate if something good happened for any other African country including Kenya even tho tatu city is not a smart city
Crawford schools I must commend them they started with a school eko Atlantic has plans for an international school but nothing has been done about it yet
rvp20183: There was no requirement. He is free to come and set up shop. But he wanted Kenya to do the impossible.He got used to banana republics like TZ or Ethiopia. So he wanted FREE LAND. He wanted 10YR TAX HOLIDAY. He wanted FREE COAL. Kenya never does that for anybody. There are so many cement or other companies -
Dangote cannot succeed in a functioning nation like kenya. What he does is to secure monopolistic & unfair advantages like he got used to in Nigeria - with promise of huge investments - then try to hammer the competitors in the first few years by reducing the prices beyond cost of production - grab market share - and then raise prices. That is JUNGLE Business that works in a zoo.
His game is well known. I hope the Omani guys buy ARM instead. Kenya is not a banana republic where you go see a minister or president before investing...you fly in, buy or lease land, ship in equipments and start sellig cement. You never need to see anyone. You just need lawyers to help navigate legal issues.
stop all this crap if dangotes company isn't in Kenya its because Kenyans don't build houses they live in hots dangotes cement is in Zambia south Africa Ghana then what does he need Kenya for??
guys calm down I feel proud to be the first person to say it on the thread cuz it is my city and its named after a club I love more than all European teams
but Nigeria has announced a third smart city named enyimba economic city u all should check it out I think in land mass its bigger than centenary and RKO Atlantic
tlann: governor kivutha kibwana ....... I smell a rat hear propaganda at it is best recently he opposed kalonzo musyoka the party leader
why are u quoting me with this rubbish Kenyan politician I don't even care for Nigerian politicians I posted the picture I saw cross my time line about other Kenyan county's asides mambasa and Nairobi's cuz those are the two Kenyan here only post about
christejames: It seems you are a strong NPFL fan like myself. Nice meeting you... if you don't mind, would love to add you to our boisterous whatsapp group with top personalities in the league, if you ain't a member already.
yes yes I am strong supporter of the league enyimba locally and all Nigerian teams on the continent in fact I am eagerly waiting for lobi stars to dismantle does Kenyan gor mahia boys on sunday this is my number add me +2349027135282
genieluv: Permit me to ask if you are Kenyan or Nigerian.
Nigerian I said it was English because the rwandan team who recently came to Nigeria to play enyimba spoke English even their fans on enyimba page could but I just googled down their official language and I saw French and English included
genieluv: Yeah. Kenyans seem to have a very wide range of facial expressions. There is really no stereotypical Kenyan look. >>> Many Nigerians unfortunately use the Masais and the Kalenjin marathon runners only to judge Kenyans' looks cos that is what they mostly see on TV about Kenya. I used to fall in this category in the past .
**** I have observed that many Kenyans (Bantus and not even Kenyan Somalis) and Rwandans look cushitic like Horn Africans. Many other Kenyans look South Sudanese, many others can pass for Southern Nigerians.
But it seems like Rwandans have a very similar culture, accent and lifestyle with mainstream Bantu Kenya right?
•••• On Trace Mziki (the only channel on DStv that shows mostly east African music), I sometimes find it hard to distinguish which countries which musicians came from. Take for instance, this song below, I always thought these ladies were Kenyan until yesterday! Pls can you tell me what language is being sung here?
~~~~~ I never thought Rwandan or Burundian songs were shown there too, I always thought it was Kenyan, Tanzanian or Ugandan cos obviously Rwandans speak french. How wrong was I, it seems like Rwandans now speak English a lot as of late right?
I think its English and Swahili Burundi is Swahili and French
jaycent: Bro he fa about the the Abuja centenary city? Have they started the project?
yes I can assure u and other Nigerians including Kenyans that work has started on centenary city you all can follow them on all social media platforms just like eko Atlantic just search frontrange city
ednited: Yea, I heard about your election. . . something actually happened during campaign or stuffs like that.. . ?? You think Buhari will make it this year? I don't think he is going to. Who will you vote for and why??
We celebrate the culture day wearing our own traditional cloth. Students won't have class in the afternoon to celebrate it. There are concerts and different festivals. It's fun, I will try to check if I could get pics, It has been years since I have celebrated.
Ethiopia issue is very complicated. Abiy may not succeeded in keeping Ethiopia one.
The Eritrea-Ethiopia peace deal was a great news. None of my relatives are Eritreans but I have Eritrean friends and neighbors. When we had party in the neighborhood, all the songs were Ethiopian and Eritrean songs. It was nice
hey ednite u the person I cane looking for in this thread please help me do something
