Pleas, are u implying that u cant move into Aussie on student visa until about 28days before your school resumption?
For instance, if I have a visa for November, can't I move in July?

My student visa is finally out. sorry I meant my younger brother's visa lol.

Applied on May 24th
Not sure when biometrics/medicals were completed.
But Visa came out June 27th. However, school was meant to start 21st July at the latest, so he had to defer to next trimester. So I reckon he will have to wait and come in 28 days before his new resumption date.

I will come here from time to time to answer any question around school, arriving Australia and general living in australia questions.

On the monetary requirements, get the naira equivalent of the required amount in your proof of funds and pay the initial fee with health insurance. You can use xedotcom for conversion rate, however, from my knowledge gained here so far, people use Form A or assistance from people onshore or someone in the abroad to help pay their fees. The last two are the most preferred because they require less time time but one needs to shine his/her eyes. Also, one can make use of a reliable agent.

In my own opinion, the ES may stylishly be waiting for an opportunity for such call and announcement, a time when the political tensions will be very high, when politicians would be highly distracted from this recruitment, a season when they will be fully focused on Politics.......EG...PDP and APC Primaries.

From my source in FCC, they've given NCDMB the Nod to Conclude the Recruitment process!

That the Name NCDMB was not clearly stated in the recruitment process does not invalidate it. Who on earth would go on national newspapers to announce a Scam Vacancy?
Who would waste massive resources in conducting tests and creating database?
For once, be objective and stop being pessimistic. Highest, leave us alone to be the fools, and observe
If the recruitment is not concluded yet, there must be political touches here and there as usual...and that's currently quite normal in this our country.
Let's just hope on and on.......someone has said FCC has given NCDMB deadline to conclude the Recruitment......so, all we should do is PRAY......Pray that the recruitment is concluded within the deadline, that it favours those of us seriously hoping, that the recruitment is not massively hijacked by the policians.

The take off of the two projects you just highlighted have nothing to do with the recruitment. Eraskon Nigeria Ltd is a private Lubes blending company owned by a Bayelsan, therefore, there is no basis for NCDMB to recruit and send to a private firm and this also applies to Duport.

Seems NCDMB do have offices in all Oil and gas establishment under them, and thus sends Offices or Staffs their as attachment for proper monitoring

People are very funy . You can go and lobby for jobs but not through kangaroo oilandgasjobs advert. NCDMB even debunked this exercise and stated the govt.-approved means of advertising for jobs.

We have been saying the reality, but people would not listen.

Please, I will like to appeal that we all stay mature in the ways we act and react to issues. While I believe that no point is useless, no matter how different from other opinions, I see abusive language or talks as simply immature. We can actually express ourselves without using foul language pls.

For me, I personally believe this Recruitment is live and kicking....it doesn't matter how long it has been, and it doesn't matter the process it has taken. Some of us have seen other funny government recruitment processes or procedures. Anything can happen in Nigeria, but I believe I will be favoured in Jesus name.

For those of us that believe it has been cancelled, why don't u just keep mute and observe as things unfolds....or still, just Unfollow this thread, let us not bother you with our Hopes and Foolishness. Moreso, some of us are still up and doing, and getting acquiring more skills daily. So, no need for your advise! Just leave us to be the fool, seems thats the only thing we need to be Hopeful!.

I personally got news from a valid source in FCC that they just gave NCDMB a clearance to conclude the recruitment.

I couldn't believe my ears when that of Nigeria Immigration service was recently canceled and re-advertised just because some certain people from certain regions scored very very low, with their Top politicians citing Low level of Computer literacy as an excuse, while pushing for cancelation at the senate.
In as much as anything as stupid as this is possible in Nigeria, I refuse to accept a cancelation. I have gotten this job by God's Grace!!!
