There's no automatic admission for merit students in any university even in MIT, other factors must be taken into considerations.

There's always flaws in any process. But I believe Luck usually plays a big role in Universities admission process.

From what I heard, composite score is not the only factor. FUNAAB will prefer to admit someone with A'Level result instead of Poly or College of Education Result. School really matters... If you're from a frat dominated school, Funaab may not consider you for admission. I think your essay is a big factor this time(just an assumption). EDLS, Catchment, this is also a factor. All is well!

Donkunxex: I've gone dere.... na so so ish dem go talk... wit mai good o level and evertin dey said acctng is 60comp...buh some peeps av been admitted wit lower comp...at least I saw 58... I left after hearing d composed lie....

Essay maybe considered and some other factors. I've seen people that scored lower(not really low, like 2-3score lower) than the others and get admitted without knowing anybody.

If you lose on this admission, next year is another year. If you still want to give FUNAAB a try.

My tips:
1. Go for the pre-degree programme.

2. Apply for a lower course...Unless you're sure of your abilities(Don't deceive yourself on this.)

3. Study hard for your jamb.

4. If you opt in for pre-degree, take the programme very serious because it's your banker(surest bet) to get admitted to FUNAAB.

5. Try to contact your family members and friends if they know someone that has influence(Like a professor, HOD, etc) in FUNAAB. Try doing this immediately you choose FUNAAB in Jamb

6. Direct Entry is like the Kingdom of Heaven in all Federal Universities... It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a direct entry applicant to get admitted to UNAAB

7. Pray for Luck.

phemmyjohnson: Yet, there is still no news update in Funaab portal on the list that was just released. This is absurd and Unusual for funaab to release admission list and not officially declare the basis of the list uploaded..

Even one time or the other, when more names are added to first batch list, Its always updated on the news feed - "MORE NAMES HAVE BEEN ADDED"





Though DE and more jambites were admitted but for all I care "THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE 2ND BATCH YOU'VE BEEN WAITING TO SEE" ...




Don't get me wrong, names of jambites admitted was pulled from the reserved names for 2nd batch but it "might" have been uploaded online to make a complete 1st batch list... #NobodyKnows




When the final update on 2nd batch list shows, Its still certain more people "might" be admitted to make it 2nd batch list....




So until the 2nd batch list info and another acceptance fee deadline is updated,

It shows that though Pastor Anita didn't use the word 'adultery', she says her husband keeps 'inappropriate relationships with female members of the church' and that his husband also humiliates her whenever these females are around- 'She feels humiliated by the way he treats her in the presence of his close female staff members'. Facts have emerged at the weekend that the ground on which Pastor Anita Oyakhilome is seeking to divorce her husband, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the President of Believers’ Love World Inc., popularly known as Christ Embassy, is not adultery but on behaviours that suggest that she cannot ‘reasonably be expected’ to live with him.


There had been media reports that Anita decided to divorce Pastor Chris based on allegations of ‘adultery’ and ‘unreasonable behaviours’ but a copy of the court papers for the divorce process filed at the Principal Registry of the Family Division (PRFD) of the High Court of Justice in possession of THISDAY, revealed that she applied for “divorce on the ground that the marriage has broken down irretrievably.”
In her statement of case in support of petition at PRFD with number FD14001650, Pastor Anita however, accused her husband of having inappropriate relationship with some of his female staff members.


According to the statement, “the wife has discussed with the husband his appropriate relationship with some of his female staff members. She has explained that this has given her cause for concern. The husband has minimised her worries and taken no step to alleviate her grievances.”


In fact, the statement indicated no allegation of adultery as there was no co-respondent to the petition and no names were mentioned.

Please note that fellowship is a constant thing in life and it cuts accross all religion divides be it islam as in mosque prayer or jumat service, Christianity as in church worship and the Occultic or cultism gathering .

If you've schooled in UI, Ife or Unilag, you'll know FUNAAB social life is nothing to write about...but things are improving gradually.

It also depends on you, you can choose to have a zero social life, you can also decide decides to be very social.

I have a moderate social life in FUNAAB, Parties, Clubs, Hang outs, Bars, I play football every Saturday Morning, there are so many activities. You just need to be very careful, as not to let your social life gets into your study. If you are not mature enough to control things, I'll advise a Class-Library-Fellowship-Hostel routine.

If you're in COLNAS and COLMAS, especially COLNAS you need to study a lot. Unless you are happily praying for extra years.

*Never Compare yourself with an Agric Student. Their social life is extreme and their grades are better because their Exam is beans i.e multiple choice questions(obj).
