Are you listening to yourself at all? Do you think PMB gave them the budget so they'll sleep on it? The fact that he pass the budget on to them shows clearly there's work they have to do on it - which they've done - yes the adding & subtracting,,

If he noticed any 'deviation', he should have clearly stated them as the reason for not appending his signature before 'running' away to far China. Now we have to await his arrival before anything else..

A vision statement just like we have in companies is needed in relationships. Companies vision statement articulate their values, define their goals and give employees and shareholders direction.

If in a relationship, partners visions are similar, there's hope for the future. However, if partners have separate plans for the future, they are on different pathways and this may pull them apart from each other. And if care is not taken, and the differences become so magnified, there's the possibility to start thinking of divorce.


Lovers dreams for today and their plans for the future should have a major meeting point so that they can build a relationship that will last. If their visions are totally different, what they have is a "DI-Vision" and DI-Vision always produces division.


Take for instance, if a man have a strong desire to be an international business man, traveling to at least ten different countries every year and his partner's vision and desire is to be a home maker who stays at home to care for her husband and her children. They both have relatively different plans but their plans have a very strong binding center.


To travel all over the world, he needs someone to help him run the home and raise the children. He also need someone who loves her home, who would not grumble about spending all her time at home doing nothing but who rather believe that being a wife and a mother is the greatest job on earth. They both cannot be international business persons, traveling for twenty days a month except they plan to work in the same company and do not plan to have any children.


A story was told of a man who was constantly under financial pressure, considering how he and his wife will have enough money to send their two kids to the university. Even though his wife loves children, and would not mind having one or two more, she wondered if her husband would ever agree to have more because he sometimes said that the two kids they have is more than what he bargained for.

One day, they sat down together to watch a documentary on baby births, and she said to him "wouldn't it be so wonderful if we can have just one more?", he immediately got up and said "if you dare get pregnant again, our marriage is over!" and he walked out of the room slamming the door behind him.

Conclusively, to find unity in diversity in a marriage relationship, it is important for the wife to adapt her own vision to her husband's vision because he is the head of the union. However, a man must look for ways that his wife can find expression to her own vision within his own. When a man assumes that his own vision will and should completely replace his wife's vision, they may have a lopsided relationship.
