Congratulations do you use New Portal Or OLD One Omiinii: Good day guys, I had to settle to write this because I started my journey here and will finally end it here as well. I recently received my passport request on 21/04/2022.
This journey has started since 2019. My first ever application I used an agent to which was recommended to me by a family friend. My mother was the one in direct contact with the agent all i did was drop documents and go for biometrics. I wasn't really ecstatic about leaving Nigeria then. It wasn't in my plans at all. my application was already 6 months old. Luckily, I withdrew the application as I needed my passport for certain things which I'll not go into the Intricacies. I didn't even bother if my application was going fine or not I just desperately needed my passport at that point not caring what was done or if my application was submitted correctly. Sha I withdrew.
Fast forward to 2020. A friend of mine sparked my interest in traveling to Canada. Especially with the way the country don be. Mhen, then I remembered I had applied for this before. I asked for her advice and she directed me to Nairaland instantly I started reading the thread sometimes I could go as far as 2016 to see what was discussed and how things has changed found that Frankrobbn1, Lekiboboe, Justmellow, Fgmp12, shupy, dommakavelli, just wise where top contributors. So I took my time and read their timelines. Every answers they gave/answered.
However, due to what I already learnt here I knew I had to get in contact with the agent of 2019 again to tell me what he filled in my IMM forms. I also planned to order my gcms files to see myself but I needed the details from the last application and hear what he has to say. I was in shock to what was submitted. The fallacies in my application and knew instantly that I was in deep shit. I can't drastically change any information as that will be considered misrepresentation. IRCC no send if na agent apply for you. So one way or another I maneuvered. I was able to dilute some information. While some i just left it like that. There was no way I could change them.
With what I already knew I applied on July 23 2021. I was then refused November 29 2021. I was devastated. Upon everything whey I don Sabi. Haba na. I ordered my notes the same day I got refused.
I took my time got closer to God, bought some course from Mark holte. Paid for study permit webinars organized by immigration lawyers. Looked for other resources to gather information, felt nairaland wasn't enough. I would always direct message immigration lawyers on twitter i.e Andrew kolton, Raj sharma, Mikal, Mario Bellissimo. I got some information about the Intricacies, learnt alot about chinook e.t.c Information choke sha.
With that in mind. I addressed my refusal reasons as accentuated by my GCMS notes. Which were sources of funds in 3 words. Packaged my application and applied on the 11th April of 2022. I received my passport request on 21st of April 2022.
Docs submitted in no particular order 1.) Evidence of post secondary education 2.) LOE (1 Page) 3.) SOP (4 Pages) 4.) NIN Slip(Me and my sponsor) 5.) Birth certificate 6.) IELTS 7.) 12 months bank statements for sponsor 8.) My bank statement (4 months) 9.) Business Invoices and receipts 10.) Tuition payment receipts 11.) Recommendation letters 12.) Financial statements of business 13.) Family pictures 14.) Business related pictures 15.) CAC registration docs 16.) Tenancy agreement and evidence of it's proceeds 17.) Sponsorship letter 18.) Bank reference Letter.
It'll end in praise for each and every one of us. |

why are they keeping passport than 3 month this is very obvious na if they dont want to issue they should have talk out not every one which there passport to be there we needed it for other things feelgoodstuffs: You shouldn’t have said you’re pregnant, when you’re not. This might affect other ladies they call for interview. They would have returned your passport without you using pregnancy as excuse, it is your property and right. |

cool verocharles: Update Registered and appointment request date on 23rd March 2022 Scheduled for capturing today 21st April 2022 at 2pm. I went straight to servicom office. They assisted me in arranging my file. They signed on top of my file. Captured at 1:30pm. They asked me to give my file back to servicom.
I didn't pay anybody. They didn't collect money for file. I only spent N100 for small envelope and photocopying of reissue form. FESTAC Passport office. The crowd wasn't much. Very organised.
I was given enrolment slip. Date of collection is 26th April. |

NAwa oo Why wont people will not japa when the situation keep getting worst last thing on our mind will become JAPA lol HRprof: Of course Japa is now nigeria National anthem and you think embassies are not aware about the Japa syndrome in Nigerians now. After filling did you take it bck to the bank KazikageSama: You have to apply online through the TRMS platform then you'd pick your desired bank to collect it (https://www.tradesystem.gov.ng/index.html) but please note that this is subject to the availability of USD or ZAR in the branch you chose else you may have to try another branch. I had to liase with like 5branches in my own case to get some. |

Congratulations Ayotola2020: Hello all,
At last I got my PPR today after 5 months and 3 weeks , almost 6 months and 26 days after bvl The waiting was excruciating.
Special thanks to the rear gem on this platform @makano. He is truly competent in visa processing. I almost gave up but he gave me some advices yesterday on how to mail IRCC which I followed through and my PPR came within 24 hrs
Infact my application was part of those he posted yesterday with bvl and no PPR for 26 days.
This is my timeline:
Application date: 10th Nov,2021
Biometrics: 12th Nov,2021
Medical request: 15th March, 2022
BVL: 24th March,2022
PPR: 20th April, 2022
Like I said earlier, special thanks to Makano. I am a silent member on this group but I got a lot of information here that helped me. Makano kept reassuring me when I was down.He is vast in the visa processing and also very compassionate. God bless you greatly sir.
God bless everyone here taking their time to share their timelines. I would be an ingrate not to share mine.
For all other waiting, it shall all end in praise |

wow am so happy to hear this can you shaire document submitted lawali: My people, I got my passport today with 3-months visa from France. Thank God that phase is over.
I have an issue that I need clarification on. I called KLM to confirm if I can use this short stay visa to connect flight to UK (I have UK visa already) instead of transit visa but was surprised to be informed I have to get transit visa if am just connecting but not entering France.
I don’t know if this statement is correct because the lady that responded has to talk to someone b4 giving me feedback.
I am actually tight on time for this journey and don’t have luxury of spending some days in France b4 jetting out to UK. More so, I am trying to avoid stress of collecting my bags and rechecking them in later.
I can’t book my flight yet as am confused on this.
Kindly substantiate/debunk this KLM statement or advise. Thanks |

How much did you pay for this event you’re forcing them for invitation? |
