They say relationships are a learning curve & each one of them reveals hidden parts of ourselves to us. Please, don't let some fool dictate your future for you. You're giving him power over your life by letting what he did to you dictate your future interactions with people. Just learn from this horrible experience & be more careful next time. It's not all in vain. They say everything happens for a reason & that with one loser out of your life, you're one step closer to finding the right one. Maybe all you need at the moment is a break from relationships & when the time is right, you can search again. I've had your mentality many times, thinking doing it all by myself was better than risking another heart break. But sometimes it hits me that forever is a very long time to spend it alone & that sometimes you'll never find until you seek. Give love a try, in the future though because it sounds like you're still speaking from the pain & not from what you genuinely mean.
