I'm a South African, I know my people well. I'm sure there're things you consider "Typically Nigerian" as well. South Africans in general are shameless about sex. They're not shy to talk about it, hence I know. The typical South African girl's mentality regarding sex could be considered "manly" by many because we're not emotional about it (like expecting a guy to marry us just because we had sex with him ), unlike Nigerian girls for instance. Hence your guys often call us cheap because if we wanna sleep with you on the 1st date, we will. No shakara.

Not necessarily but maybe the girl you met was into Astrology, like I am.

It may sound like rubbish to some, but Astrology fans take that kind of stuff seriously. We just know who we click or don't click with, Astrologically speaking.

In the Indian culture they do that too. Before a couple weds, their astro charts are drawn by an astrologer to determine compatibility, etc. Indians usually marry for life, so maybe there's something to it.

Personally, I don't date by zodiac signs, but there're those few that I've written off because I think their natives suck & are totally incompatible with me as an individual eg. Scorpio & Libra. Funny because I'm supposed to be highly compatible with both signs, but I find them insufferable in a relationship.

I think a lot plays into it though. Being astrologically compatible or incompatible doesn't matter, if both people are willing to put their differences aside & make the relationship work.

I've told this story here before. Anyway, we were at a house warming party thrown by my cousin's friend. I was part of the crowd that was seated in the lounge area & next to me was the guy. He was friends with the husband of the lady we were visiting. I don't even remember how we started having a conversation but we did & maybe I even flirted with him or whatever I don't remember everything because it happened so long ago but at one point he started buying drinks. I'm not much of a drinker so I didn't drink alcohol that night, only soda. I stood up to go to the toilet & next thing I know, he was behind me. He wouldn't let me out of his sight for one moment. When I came out they were playing this other song I can't remember now & he said, "that's my jam!" & went to dance at the make-shift dancefloor. The weird thing is he was gyrating to the beat & staring right straight at me. Probably to show me what I'd be getting that night, a loose waist LMAO.

Shìt hit the fan when he heard we were leaving. He went absolutely crazy & told me I wasn't going to leave Huh? That's when he started dragging me & at one point he had me over his shoulder. LMAO.
