I feel sorry for the lady. She felt embarrassed. Grown ass man throwing tantrums in public. Just pathetic and infuriating. The man was just trying to be manipulative. That man had high hopes with the lady in question, but she dashed them due to some reasons. Respect her feelings. She is human. It is not by force and I doubt if they signed a formal Contract stating that the lady would marry him after taking care of her and her needs.

He played himself. I am not a fan of public Marriage proposals. Some men do this in public knowing fully well most ladies would find it hard to say NO out of embarrassment. Private proposals is BAE for me. Family and friends at max.

He should pick himself up. It's not the end of the world, plus, rejection is a natural phenomenon. You win some you lose some. He should try a gain. He shouldn't give up on finding true love but change the he goes about searching for LOVE. You can't buy unconditional Love. There will always be Someone out there for everyone. Everyone wants to love and be loved in return. I respect his feelings but once again, he should pick himself up and move on. He should forgive "Amaka" for disappointing him.

Thirded, but just like fb, Instagram, twitter and other social media platforms, some ppl actually use nairaland for business. To grow and connect with people mainly for their business, therefore, they spend much time here.

Active users in Auto, Properties and Technology sections are great examples.
So, as much as some of us are on this table, some are not.
I think it's better as Op opened a thread like this anyway, some other people might be curious too, curiosity is normal, the thread wud help other with same curiosity.

Now you totally miss the point. This is the reason I barely create any topic here, too much misconceptions.

Like I replied someone earlier, it's not that the time spent here is relevant or have any crucial value to me. After all, spending 10 years on nairaland won't add 10 naira to my account. So this is just a sheer observation.

The intent of this post is "if someone who registered and has been active since 2018 sees 2 hours as his time spent online then those that see years/months must have have been ULTRA active on this forum".

About you seeing your activity here as act of joblessness, I think it's depends on what each person look out for on nairaland. This forum is so complex and vast that it serves any purpose you intend it to. My time here has been greatly used that I barely have any regret about its usage. If I have to pay for what I've gained/learned here on this forum, believe me it'll be a huge sum at that.

Oh my bad i thought he was talking about when a child should have sense of responsibility but if that is his point then i disagree wayward or not as long as the child is below 18 the adults should be held responsible as they can't have consensual sex at that age but sadly Nigeria law do nothing to protect this young ones.

Any girl that has finished puberty is already an adult and these days get end puberty before 18.
