He is saying that wayward teens and kids can be held responsible as a part of sex between kids and adults. That part of the problem is that the kids were not trained well.

Don't you think any pedophile will come up with this excuse? That it was the girls and how ill trained they were that led him to sleeping with them? We cannot blame this on how parents are training their kids! That is like saying a rape victim is responsible for being raped cuz she wore short clothes.

No matter what, is a man supposed to see a teen or young girl and lay into her? Lets stop giving these men excuses , if we are before God, can any man born of woman open his mouth to say 'I used girls because they were greedy, because they were not well trained'......do you think such an excuse will stand for any man?

Responsibility, like i said, is applicable as early as possible. Responsibility should be taught and children will definitely be guided. But not in the case of a pedophile and a child or teen.

I see that you want a situation where the child will be blamed as well in an adult/child sex scandal. I will never put responsibility on the child for that, IN THAT PARTICULAR CASE.

We TEACH children to have a sense of responsibility from a very young age.

In the case of victim and predator, i cannot start calling the victim of 16, 17, and start scolding them about responsibility. You cannot call a victim for anything in the case of a crime.

That is the difference. You can punish kids for other things. You can teach them to live right. You can show them that actions have consequences.

However, you cannot blame a child for being preyed upon by an adult.

My point still stands, no matter how naughty a girl or boy is, i will put all blame on any adult that goes sexual with them. Training is necessary but that will not come into play when I see an adult with a child. Its not an excuse, the child is still developing into maturity, its very hard for a child to handle situations with an adult. I can say train a child, but I will never blame the child.

On a serious note, I understand where you are coming from and I agree 100% with you about condemning and prosecuting pedophiles.

However, we owe it a responsibility to train/orientate our young girls too. A lot of them wouldn't fall prey of these scums if not for ojukokoro, untamed curiousity, peer pressure and some effects of the media. If more parents and the society at large will educate and protect our young girls from these dangers, the world would be a much better place for them.

The same should also be obtainable for the young boys. Teach them that pedophilia is wrong and as I have mentioned before, punish those caught severely.

We are talking about PEDOPHILES and YOUNG GIRL CHILDREN or TEENAGERS.

If we are talking about equal ages of the opposite sex, then both sides carry responsibility. However, I CANNOT see a child and an adult doing something bad, and blame the child. If i walked in on a man and a girl having sex, i will blame the man and not the underage girl. We carry the responsibility of guiding our younger ones, not doing bad stuff with them and scolding them too.

I remember some months ago, I was walking one early morning and a young man came to me. I know that boy will not be more than 15/16, but with a mature, built, good looking physique and looks, everything. He was very bold, and started trying to chat me up, crossing the road to meet me. I was shocked! And wondered if he didn't see that i was by far his senior. He was looking for what little girls of that age are looking for too.....but guess what, i respected myself, i was mature, I dismissed him and laughed to myself about it.

You can have a business or job that allows you to work from home. Or some kind of business that allows you to be your own boss. Then you work from home, which allows you to also spend time with your kids.

You have the job, you have full time with the kids and taking care of the home. Problem solved.
