I have a land in Isheri north from Opic, I need a good suggestions on who to award the building contractor to, I have already contacted one of my favorite builders here but it seems he is busy with another project right now. I need to start this project ASAP since I have some funds to go all the way to carcass right now.

Below is a picture of something similar to what I have in mind. A 4 bedrooms duplex in front and a pair of 2 bedrooms flat in the backitchen.

I've narrowed those builders mentioned above to two and I've contacted both of them. I believe I can't go wrong with either of them. I'm going to continue to update you as this progresses, why? In Trump voice..."This is not just any build, this is a movement!"

When I was in my 20s I though I was done with 9ja. As I moved into late 30s and early 40s I learnt to appreciate having a fatherland and having roots there.

I don't know isheri north very well. But I have been inside the lagos state scheme 6 years ago or so.
This was when a nearby river used to overflow.

Is yours lagos side or ogun side.
I wonder what the soil condition is there. I was told raft was a definite 6 years back.

First, I don't live in naija (so, this might not be your best option) but I'm relocating to Ikorodu very soon.

IMO, if you drive and want to live in Fashola Housing estate near Bayeku town, then it will take 5 minutes drive to Bayeku + another 5 minutes on the ferry to Langbasa (Ajah) + another 10 minutes to VI = 20 minutes to work . I believe you will spend less than your budget for 2 bedroom.

Although my parents are both Lagosian from Ikorodu, this news would have been a very welcome one if the writer in the article was referring to "Lagidi" but unfortunately he/she was talking about Lagos, Portugal and NOT Lagos, Nigeria. I still believe Lagos Nigeria will be on this list comes 2020 due to ongoing projects and infrastructures like Eko Atlantic, Eko light rail metro, 4th mainland bridge, Oshodi BRT hub etc.

For those haters with negatives comments..... go ahead! Lagos story will be like Balak and Balam in the bible, you can't stop Lagos getting to her glory.
