Romance / Re: Is Age A Barrier In A Relationship by qkman: 1:10pm On Jun 05, 2009 |
In the case where the woman is older, it most not be more than two to three years because a lady seem to grow faster than the man, as they grow, the woman will not look like the man's mother because she has to go through child bearing. With the man, any age is cool but not as old as the lady's father. |
Sports / Re: France(0) Vs Nigeria(1) On Tuesday 2nd June by qkman: 12:58pm On Jun 05, 2009 |
I want to be of the belief that the french team has not played together in a long time, because their performance looked as if all went wrong, Nigeria needs to improve on their performance as beating France a goal to nill will not yield the same result with other teams, amd if Mikel is playing ,He should play his defensive mid-field role. |

Politics / Re: Pdp Alleges Anti-yar’adua Meeting With Obama In Ghana by qkman: 9:55am On Jun 05, 2009 |
If our president is willing to see the 44th american president in his country, what will be the basis of their discussion?Yar'adua, since inception has only addressed the country just once, he virtually understands the needs of his people, good for him, he has a new CBN governor that has white-washed his ideas of the seven point agenda. A popular quote says' charity begins at home' I pray, That our president re-orientates his cabinets and put a reform on his governance as his impact is not yet felt in any sector of our economy and all he wants his meeting Obama. |

Politics / Will Amended Constitution Usher A New Pdp? by qkman: 12:58pm On Apr 22, 2009 |
The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held its special convention on Monday at the Eagle Square in Abuja. The exercise witnessed the amendment of the party’s constitution in a manner presumably to reposition it. Nosike Ogbuenyi, Chuks Okocha and Onwuka Nzeshi, who covered the event, report that it was epoch making and could possibly take the party to another level despite witnessing some unsavoury moments The Peoples Democratic Party’s Special National Convention 2009 which took place last Monday at the Eagle Square in the heart of Abuja, the nation’s capital, was indeed special in many respects. First, the ruling party, loud as ever, embarked on a bold deviation from the norm by conducting such an internal party activity on the beginning of a new week. And the event turned out a delight. What Manner of Convention Past conventions were normally staged on weekends to avoid a situation where normal business and social activities especially government official business would be disrupted or the event marred by poor attendance. But the PDP is not the type to witness poor turn out. An estimated 50,000 persons gathered in Abuja for the event. Less than 20 percent of that number wre the actual delegates who amended the party’s constitution. It was not just a bold statement in re-branding and showcasing of a party many Nigerians seem to love to hate, it undoubtedly had that ‘we are in power” body language and colour. Although, the event was scheduled to kick off at 8.00am, all roads leading to the Eagle Square were jammed tight even as early as 7.00am. All manner of exotic cars in the fleet of the powerful and mighty in the land headed for the Three Arms Zone, almost at the same time, blaring deafening sirens and driving rather dangerously. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=141446 |

It actually depends on your unit and how much and effective you are with the job but in the case your home is a travelling distance to your work then u r in for it,people actually slow down because they believe when its late the road is usually free and they et home almost the same time with someone who left during the rush hours. all the same relate with your employers to fix u in a branch close to your house and u will see the magic. |

Politics / 'i Inherited N2bn Not N48bn' by qkman: 4:26pm On Apr 08, 2009 |
For the first time since February 17 that he came on board, Acting Governor of Ekiti State, Honourable Tunji Odeyemi, yesterday declared that his administration inherited N2 billion cash, as well as a debt of about N5 billion from former Governor Segun Oni. Odeyemi, who was Speaker of the State House of Assembly, before he became the Acting Governor, following the Appeal Court ruling, which nullified the 2007 election that produced Oni as governor. Since then, there had been controversy over the true financial position of the state, especially in respect of incessant claims by Oni that he left N48 billion in the treasury. While briefing the press at the New Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, Odeyemi's Special Adviser on Information and Civic Orientation, Mr Patrick Ajigbolamu, said the need to put the record straight became imperative, so as to correct the signal that the initial claim had sent to the public about the present administration. Ajigbolamu's statement corroborated that of Chairman, Committee on Information and Sports, Honourable Adebayo Morakinyo, that Oni left N4 billion in the coffer, out of which N2 billion was meant for the ecological funds, which according to him, cannot be spent by anybody. Ajigbolamu said it was impossible for a government which left in a hurry to know accurately how much it left in the coffer. While reacting to the allegation that government spent over N200 million on President Yar'Adua's visit to the state, Ajigbloamu said the allegation was false and baseless, but did not state how much was spent. |
