Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Never Initiates Sex But Still Complains She's Not Getting Enough by qtx(m): 1:37pm On Aug 22, 2023
Brokeandnolove:
Hi fellas, I will go straight to the point. My girlfriend of over a year hardly ever initiates sex, so sex between us strictly depends on when I make a move. Sometimes it might coincide with when she's Hot and everything goes well. Again I don't like going for more than one round of sex because I hardly cum during the second round till it eventually turns to hard work. She will still be the one that will complain that she's tired. I believe that sex is meant to be enjoyed and not stressful.

Now I am not a freak for sex, and can comfortably go for a week without sex depending on the situation of things between us even though we stay together for now. I don't initiate sex if we are having issues and sometimes she complains that other men come crawling to their women for sex at night after an argument with most times leads to reconciliation but I always lock up as if I am staying with a man thereby making some of our issues linger longer than necessary.

She gets moody each time she's Hot and I don't make a move, I simply told her to initiate sex anytime she wants because with the economic situation on ground sometimes sex is the last thing on my mind.

We had sex yesterday afternoon and later that evening we were gisting and we talked about early morning sex, she pointed out that I hardly initiate early morning sex and I told her it was because she hates being disturbed when sleeping. I proceeded to tell her we will have early morning sex today. Unfortunately I worked all night and slept around 4 am so I couldn't initiate any sex. She woke up moody and angry which made led to an argument that culminated in her leaving the house.

While chatting on WhatsApp she told me not to carry my boring sex life into marriage. So guys is there anything wrong with a lady initiating sex when she wants ithuh I am pretty sure if she initiated sex this morning I wouldn't have refused.
must you people involve in immoralities? Cant there just be relationship without it? Just one year you are saying all these. Na wa for this gen sef. Jesue is coming soon o.

Education › Re: Stop Sending Your Children For Holiday Lessons by qtx(m): 6:20pm On Aug 21, 2023
Oduok:
Sending kids to holiday lessons makes no sense.

Most of you will make your kids go to school till they become useless. You took them to school at age 3 and abandon them there. During long vacation you still send them to school. To do what?

Can't you spend time to bond with your kids? What exactly are they going to achieve in school during vacation? Vacation lesson only favour school owners, not you. Allow kids rest for God's sake.

If you should engage kids during long vacation then teach them skills. Enrol your kids in centres that they can learn practical computer usage, coding, programming, painting and decoration, catering, musical instruments. Let them learn martial art, how to shot guns , how to wrestle . Teach them something beyond pure academics.

If a school should organize long vacation class then it should gear towards extra curricula activities - debate, modelling, music concert, science fair, mini project. How would you call kids back to school during holiday to learn Math, English, Chemistry, Social studies, accounting, by same teachers that taught them during school period. What is the difference? If these teachers knew what to teach why didn't they do it during normal school session.

Education is beyond memorizing facts. Give your kids opportunity to develop and be better prepare for life.
But for the bold part, you would have made 100/100% in this post. Else you want me to teach them how to shoot gun and practice wrestling right? in which house o? Okay, teach that to your own kids. i will teach mine the rest of the things you mentioned. Thank you. You are welcome.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Actually Flopped In My Micro Teaching Interview by qtx(m): 11:55am On Aug 21, 2023
dboY1123:
My previous post about a big school that called me for an Interview, Well I actually went there, did my test and when I was asked to come in for Micro Teaching where I was faced with Staff of the school and maybe the principal, I flopped and panicked heavily.

The fear was well written all over my face and I was just saying rubbish despite choosing to teach "Matter" as my topic. Immediately I came in and they asked for my name and few other questions before the micro teaching, my voice was already shaking as if I have never taught before in my life(they noticed and told me to calm down).

Although I am an introvert, I hardly face audience talk more of strangers and the quest to ensure that I performed, those things enveloped/swallowed me completely. I have never taught in such a big school before, I think my qualification was what made them approach me in the first place.

One of the staff kept throwing questions at me, I mean confusing questions just to know my depth of knowledge in the particular topic, and guess what? I flopped totally and became disorganized. But luckily, there was a man among the panel who gave me the option of coming back and prove myself that I am a qualified teacher as stated in my CV or I should take another topic I'm more comfortable with. So, I opted to leave and come back so I can regain my confidence.

Now, I have been given enough time to go and make research and convince them on Monday.
How do I conquer that fear and what are the things they look so I can prepare hard.
Thank you.
simple trick:
1. research and refresh your knowledge on a topic you trust yourself to be able to handle without quaking.
2. Just know that most of those teachers know less of what you are about to teach but just want to intimidate you.
3. Know that lossing this job opportunity is not the end of your life.
4. While talking ,do not look at any one's face rather look above their heards.(Avoid eye contact with any of them.)
5. Talk within what you know and can remember, do nto stray into danger areas in your talk.
Goodluck.

BAT's pride and ego will never allow him see any reason to retreat in this decison. Well, my worry is the ordinary people of Niger and some part of Nigeria that will suffer it.

The northen Nigeria is against the war as well. If BAT continues with the war he will soon loose northen support and their reason will be that if the western part of Nigeria had boundaries with Niger, the president would not have executed that war.

And what about the rubber stamp senate that denied approval for the war? Will they be able to do anything like impeaching the BAT? only time shall tell.

Philosophy isn't useless, it's just no longer relevant in today's world. Now tell me would you be happy if you're child comes home one day and tells you he got admitted into the university to study philosophy? No you won't. Just be honest and admit you're on the side of philosophy today because your presidential candidate studied it.
If it is no longer relevant, what is it still doing in universities?

I dont quite agree with you that it's no longer relevant. In fact, it is even now that social media is taking over the brains of young people not allowing them to have quality critical thinking that the study of philosophy is encouraged.

A leader who lacks ability to think critically and deeply before taking decisions, is a disaster waiting to happen. And that is why we are suffering in this two months old administration. taking decisions out of pride and arrogance or just to show people you are in charge without first studying and understaing the situation is laughable even though painful at the same time. In any case, studying any course does not guaranty that you will be a good leader. There are a lot of things that make a good leader.

Or are you saying over the world are people no longer read philosophy?

It's is only in africa that we push children to read what they do not have passion in thinking we want them to study a course that will make them rich.

In the western world children are allowed to make their choices and study what their passion lies in.
If my child prefers to study philosophy, i will not stop him if that is where he finds happiness and strenght.

Success in life does not come from studying a particular course. By the way, how many medical doctors , accountants, engineers are billioniairas in Nigeria bros?

Remember, this man you are trying to run down because he read philosophy is a multi- billionaire and no one has come out to accuse him of any corruption or fraud. Yet the one you are happy read accounting has bagges of allegations of stealing hanging on his neck.

Everyone you mentioned above has been dead for hundreds of years. In today's philosophy is an obscure discipline and by the way you forgot to mention Immanuel Kant. He was a greater philosopher than most of the guys on your list
Are you saying today we do not have great leaders across the world that studied Philosophy that are still living? That is the reason i said let me mention but a few. If you like i can give 100 names of great philosophers that are great leaders and are still living.

I have never heard where someone who read accounting is expected to be a better leader than someone who studied philosophy. Do you even know what philisophy is all about?
Oxford Dictionary - Philosophy : "the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline".

Wikipedia - Accounting "Accounting, also known as accountancy, is the processing of information about economic entities, such as businesses and corporations"

Who among the two people that read those courses above is supposed to be a good leader? be very honest.

Properties › Re: How Can I Avoid Being Scammed, I'm About To Buy A House by qtx(m): 1:49pm On Aug 16, 2023
Brainbox0806:
Good day to you all, I'm on the verge of buying a house for a close family, I bare the responsibility of making payment and verifying that the property is genuine because I'm the one that introduced him to the agent.

I'm trying to be careful because of some clauses that involves the originality of the seller. Mr. A built the house from the ground, lived in it for like seven months then relocated abroad, he appointed a representative ( I think his brother) to sell the property, Mr. B ( also from abroad ) contacted a company to buy the property on his behalf, the property was inspected buy consultant C ( A company ), payment was made and the house was taken over by consultant C but Mr B never occupied the said house since Inception of the purchase, after 15 months of procurement Mr B decided to sell the property through same consultant C.

The neighbour can't ascertain the relationship between Mr A and consultant C , but Mr A has been informed by a neighbour about the presence of consultant C in the house and he confirmed that the house has been sold off . Consultant C do visit the house periodically but the house remains under lock.

The problem now is that consultant C want me to pay directly to him, refusing to give me Mr B. phone number for verification, sighting that the consent letter given to him by Mr B is enough proof. I suspect he's hiding the real price from the owner but I don't want to go ahead without verifying the identity of Mr B ( the current seller). The intending buyer is so in love with the house and cant wait to make payment but I'm hellbent of hearing from Mr B

Kindly advise.
Is that the only house in the country for sale? Anything that has a corner corner story has some risk. get another house with straightforward story

Family › Re: Can You Marry Someone Your Family Members Arranged For You? by qtx(m):
IamKizzbrown10:
Approximately 95%of marriages in India are arranged, with the divorce rate at 1%. I come from a big family, with 25 first cousins
and many more second and third cousins.

Out of these 28, 24 are now married and 2 are engaged. All arranged marriages, with no divorce to date.

I am the black sheep of the family, with the first love marriage in the history of my family. I believe that I am the custodian of my own
happiness. I believe that God gave me free will.

So, I cannot marry someone my parents choose for me because even if they trained me from birth, they have limited knowledge of what
gives me fulfillment, especially in the area of choosing a life partner.

What are your thoughts about these
It is not a straight jacket answer. It depends. The truth really is that when it comes to perfect union, it does not matter how you got connected to your partner, be it through your parents or other family memembers, friend, school, church, shrine, mosque, bus, market, what really matters is if you are both compatible and truly love each other. Therefore, if you insist that family members must not offer you a partner, what if that partner happens to be someone with the qualities you wish to have in a wife? Am not insisting it must be your family that should provide you a partner, but will you say although she meets your specification therefore you wont accept her unless you meet the person yourself? I think one should have open mind towards considering how to get a partner.

Family › Re: My Husband Is Not The Same Man I Married. by qtx(m): 2:28pm On Aug 14, 2023
Jewessgratitud3:
*From a concerned lady*👇‼️

My husband is not the same man I fell in love with.

My husband changed totally after wedding day, in fact, it started on the wedding night and its giving me a lot of concern.

It's not that he is not talking to me or we are fighting, but he is not the cheerful happy person anymore.

After months of trying to get what the problem is, he finally opened up to me and I don't know what my fault is, I think he is overreacting.

My husband works in an insurance company and he is just a junior staff, he earns 150k per month, so he is not doing that bad.

When we wanted to get married, my dad wrote the wedding list and everything he would bring, when he saw them, he fumed that they were too much and they should reduce it but my dad insisted that he won't collect it twice, I also told him if he really loves me, he would provide them, he could get help from his family too, it is called bride price and other things, and it is once.

We had little issue then but he later resolved it.

He brought everything they asked for.

During the wedding, my parents told him to buy a cow, rent a hall and decorate it then they'll take care of other things. He said he didn't have money for a big hall and he would prefer a field ground but my dad insisted that rain could disrupt things and he has many people coming.

That almost cause issues too, I had to support him with 50k to get the hall because I know who my dad is, he won't back out.

I didn't know how he did it, he took the hall and designed it, he bought cow too.

His family brought food and everything went fine and that was it.

I don't know what was keeping him moody until he spoke up.

He said I couldn't fight for him, I was there supporting my parents and watch them extorting him, did I even know he had to collect loan to pay for those things?

I got angry because he used the word 'extorting'.

He was the one that wanted to have my hand in marriage and if he cherish me, he should do all they wanted since he is not paying twice.

After I said this, he stopped talking in the house, he comes home, eat and go to bed.

I tried talking to him but he would listen but not talk, he is cold to himself and prefer his privacy.

Have I said something wrong?

I don't like whats happening. My marriage is too young to be going through all these.

I am tired, I don't know what to do.

Advise this lady
I blame you to some extent. I have seen a lady that told the parents, Daddy and Mummy, i dont want a situation where u will collect everything later my husband and i will go and start drinking garri, please reduce the list if possible let my husband pay for some and balance up later. If you also want me happy, please consider this.

You should have made efforts to speak with your parents to understand and shift ground and soften the grounds for your husband, Saying if he loves you he should provide suggests that you didnt care about him as much as you care about your family's welfare. To that extent i blame you.

On the other hand, he should not have used the word extorting afterall he made the decisoon to go into marriage.
Marriage is not for kids, he needs to control the words he use despite how angry he would be.

Solution:
Wake him up in the middle of the night, go on your kneels and explain that you understand you didnt show much concern when that issue of list came up, that indeed you made a mistake, but he should please find a place in his heart to forgive you. And that going forward you will never repeat such if any similar issue surfaces and that you sincerely appreciate all his efforts and love he showers on you. come back and thank me.
