angry angry As a faithful Obidient, I don't care whether he attended CSU or not. Our aim is to distract Tinubu and make his administration ungovernable. This will help His excellency Peter Obi remain relevant till 2027 so that he can deputise Atiku Abubaker in 4-yrs time.
I doubt if you are a true OBIdient. Because genuine Obidients hardly take this position. They belive Obi's mandate has been stolen by Tinubu and must be returned. I am begining to suspect you.

I saw this somewhere so i decided to share here.

The guy saw his missing rib and they have been dating for a while. So it was time to go to the family of his fiancee to pluck his beautiful flower(as they say) but he got the biggest shock as he was met with what he didn't expect.

He was given a list of items to provide for the traditional marriage as is customary but he instead ran away and never came back.

What are your views on this?

See list below..
Some families are ready to transfer their economic woes instituted by the Fed govt. on innocent grooms. Guys be careful this season.

I am not divorcing to remarry, I want to be alone and be free. Thank you
So that you can flirt around? My brother take life easy so you dont get to where you can no longer come back. Sex outside marriage comes with grave consequences. If after divorce you dont marry then you want to live anyhow sexually, that can cut your life short. please think twice. I guess you need to convince your wife that both of you see a therapist or psychologist. Your wife maybe having some emotional or psychological issues.
An average woman should also enjoy sex. You are a bit selfish thinking of pleasure from your own side alone. calm down and help her and you will enjoy your home again. Bro nothing out there o. They look wonderful because you feel you are tied down, break out and give yourself 6 months , you will get tired and wish you never divorced. Dont allow your erection determine your direction and decision. Its not worth it.
Celebrities › Re: Lionel Messi Buys $10.8M Mansion In South Florida by qtx(m): 6:07pm On Sep 12, 2023
AImiron:
Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, just plunked down $10.8 million for a waterfront Fort Lauderdale, Florida property in an off-market deal.

The 10,486-square-foot residence, at 91 Compass Lane, is in the Bay Colony gated community. It boasts eight bedrooms, 9½ baths and a three-car garage — along with a pool and two docks.

It’s also near the Inter Miami soccer stadium. Messi — who won the World Cup for his native Argentina in December — joined Inter Miami in July. The team is owned by David Beckham, Jorge and José Mas, and other investors.

Built in 1988, the home sits on 0.44 acres on a cul-de-sac, with 170 feet of waterfront. It was created by designer Lori Morris and featured in Florida Design magazine.

The home opens with a 27-foot-high domed ceiling, and also features a chef’s kitchen, a home gym and spa, an entertaining lounge, a home office and a massive 1,600-square-foot main bedroom suite.

Samuel and Donna Simpkin, of Compass, repped Messi. The sellers, John and Stacy Dickerson, paid $9 million for it in May 2022.

Messi also owns three luxury condos in Sunny Isles Beach, The Real Deal reported.

Messi is currently with the Argentina squad in Bolivia for a South American World Cup qualifier. It’s not clear whether or not the superstar will be too “tired” to play, according to reports.

Get the man's number on your mother's phone, and call him man to man for a meeting with one of your father's relatives

Tell him you have no issue with his relationship with your mother but you don't support her bringing any man to your father's house or property

Tell him you are willing to go to any length on the property belonging to your father, if it means involving your father's family or the lawyers

Am very sorry to say this but some women are just not emotionally intelligent to manage inheritance and family asset that's why many are skeptical in having them administer an estate

Sir Luis Ojuckwu was a billionaire

He married Ojuckwu's mother and Ojuckwu inherited his wealth

Ojuckwu wasted the wealth on Civil War and married a new young wife Bianca

Upon death, Bianca didn't let any of Ojuckwu's Old son or Brothers, not even cousins to access any of Sir Ojuckwu's Asset

Properties › Re: My Landlord And His Dad Just Beat Up My Co-tenant by qtx(m): 11:09am On Sep 09, 2023
Mustiboy:
Hi, everyone,

I'm in dire need of advice.

We had prepaid issues in the house where I'm a tenant. There are accumulated bills on the prepaid, which the landlord has failed to sort out for months. This caused some sort of altercation between he and another tenant over the phone(Mr X).

The landlord told him to move out and refunded his remaining rent.

Now the Landlord and his father came for a meeting with the rest of us today and accused Mr X, who has already moved out last week, of taking things from the house, things such as breaker box and some minor things.

It happened to be the time when Mr X himself came to pick up one of his properties left in the house – a cupboard.

He overhead everything and tried to clarify that he didn't. Just then, the landlord's father started insulting Mr X, who didn't even retaliate or say anything.

The landlord jumped on board and said Mr X must pay for everything. He ordered a guy that came with him to lock the gate of the compound, saying Mr X is not leaving.

Mr X has myopia and is always wearing glasses. The landlord seized Mr X's clothes and threatened to beat him up, even dragging him around and tearing his clothes in the process. He literally rough-handled him like a kid.

His father also charged forward and punched Mr X in the eye, kicking and wanting to beat him even more. Mr X fell on the floor in tears. All this while, I was recording. The landlord even took up a piece of wood at some point, threatening to deal with Mr X with it.

They seized his glasses, denying him proper eyesight and even tried to seize his phone as well.

Mr X was not allowed to go out until external intervention, which came as a plea from neighbors, further massaging the landlord's ego. The Landlord and his dad literally beat Mr X up and shamed him out of the compound and the area at large, hurling insults at him and also cursing his dead father.

I really feel bad for Mr X. I've sent videos of everything that transpired to him. He doesn't know what to do and feels the landlord used his power and position to beat him when he has done no wrong.

The landlord has also boasted that he'll use his power to ensure Mr X is sacked from his place of work.

I'm also bereft of ideas on what to do. How do we press charges going forward?

This matter must not be swept under the carpet.

The landlord is in his 50s, while his father looks 80. I'm not sure of Mr X's age, but he should he in his mid – late 30s

I don't know if this is the right section for this. Mods please move to frontpage

Photo used for illustration
Let Mr. X approach human rights commission with the video evidence. Alternatively let him share that video on social media and attract attension of the security agents and other human rights bodies appealing for help. Once the case is on social media, the police is mindful of bribe. Or let him contact me to give him 6 soldiers that just returned from maiduguri to invade the landlord and his dad. grin
Travel › Re: After JAPA - How Long It Took To Make Your First 100 Million by qtx(m): 10:36am On Sep 09, 2023
etrange:
I've lived in 4 countries, so let me offer my two cents.

First, if you're looking at it from a financial standpoint, those who live in Nigeria and work for organizations in Europe or the Americas are far more gainfully employed than those living in these places (even though those living abroad are more paid than thier offshore counterparts). Even if you spend mindlessly, you'd still likely be very rich cause of exchange rate. If you're single, you'd probably be spending between 5% to 10% of your salary (depending on your level) and the remaining part (which could be more than a million depending on your level) could go to savings and investment. Meanwhile, your counterparts in the Western world will be spending in the currency of the resident countries. Some of them might even be struggling to save after paying monthly house rent of about $2,300 in NY and bills like electricity, water, gas, internet, phone, cable etc. as well as other expenses like transportation, groceries, wears, haircut and entertainment. There's simply no comparison here.

That said, like someone has already mentioned, living abroad isn't all about money for some people. Other factors like amenities, safety, passport (freedom of movement), exposure to diversity and, most importantly, the future of your offspring all come into play. Now, to your question, it all depends on the individual's field, level, the country where they are and the exchange rare at the time. Some countries pay more than others. Some fields pay more than others and advanced/senior professionals earn more than mid level and entry level professionals. So it's not very practical to give a figure. Moreover, people aren't dumb enough to keep compounding money in the bank like that. That's a poor man's mindset. Buying assets that appreciate with time or investing in financial instruments that counters inflation is the only way to secure the value of your money. Finally, whether you move or not is up to you. You might save less (even though you get paid more when you're there), live in a much smaller apartment and deal with the cold weather and racism, but there are benefits like thes ones I mentioned above. It's an individual thing. So take a moment to understand your priorities. And if you're still not so sure, secure a visitors' visa and go see for yourself first (bearing in mind visiting/vacationing in a place is far more fun than actually living there).

Good luck!
You nailed it bro!
Family › Re: As a Christian, Is This Not Enough Reason To Divorce Him? by qtx(m): 10:29am On Sep 09, 2023
Prettycute90:
Since we got married, everything about the upkeep, rents, bills, feeding, general upkeep. I mean everything is on me and he has refused to provide for us as he always claimed he doesn't have. I have always be an understanding person who believe, I should be doing while I can, pending when things gets better for him.
I never knew he was getting little little, but was gambling away with it.

We really do not date for a long time before we got married. Because I knew him back then in school from a far distance. And we liked each other but didn't date. So, meeting again after graduation and in a different environment, made me believe I already knew and the fact that we already liked each other.

He was struggling with a little job when we got married. My foresight then was to grow with him. I supported him in all ways. Infact, during our wedding, most support came from friends and relatives.
Because I'm not the type of a wife that pressurized, It took me a very long time to know the nature of habit he had that has kept him low even before I married him.

He is a chronic gambler.
No money stays with him. He wouldn't even care about himself so long as he can afford little money to gamble.
Now, I don't have a job and too much burden has crippled my business.

To be honest, I'm losing myself. Sometimes I feel I need a therapy myself.
My husband has refused to change or make effort to make this marriage work.
Before I had my second child, he was pretending as if he has changed. But immediately I took in, he continues this lifestyle. I almost died due to emotional breakdown and responsibilities shouldered by myself.

I have done everything, (both family members have adviced him severally, I have prayed, fasted, cried, shouted, talked with a calm voice, all my efforts. but non is working.

Presently, since two weeks ago now, I don't cook for him. I source for food for just myself and my children. We barely have decent conversation in this house. I can't even remember the last time we had intimacy.
I always avoid him, each time he tries to get close. Because of the situation of things in this house.
We had two children and I don't intend having any other.
The cost of taking care of myself and the children all by myself is emotional hurting me so much.
School has resume and I can't even afford all the expenses of taking my first son to start a new school and I know, he would watch our son stay back at home. He wouldn't care.

We're in the house, but he's only concern is how to get little money to gambles.

Are these not enough reasons to divorce him?
During one qurrel we had recently, I told him I want us to separate for now, so we can work on ourselves, and he said he will be with our children not me.
I see that as way to make my children suffers.

What can you advise please?

I just want peace of mind.

I don't want to waste my youthful life in a loveless marriage. Where myself and my husband can not support each other to grow in Love. Rather, stressing me.
Really disturbing.
And your topic says as christians?
1. True christians dont gamble.
2. The mistake was you assumed he was a good person by seeing him from a distant while in school so you took no time to know him more.
3. Have you spoken to him about this as in, wake him up in the middle of the night in a friendly and sensible way to talk about it? If you have , maybe you allowed anger to control your words. He is gambling because he believes he can make big money and take care of you and the family(my guess).
4. Gambling is actually a habit which makes it dangerous. As a christian, approach your pastor or priest to assist in talking to him.
5. Alternatively speak to someone he respects so much to help in engaging with him.
6. Have you also prayed about it? As a true christian, prayer is indeed a master key. Also, assuming you hear he has hit a jackpot of about 30M naira, will you still contemplate divorce?
First try to find solution through all the above suggesstions, if all fails then we can start another conversation on divorce.

Besides, are the affected Africans not even better of with the military in such instance?

From DM
Do you know you are a man with good conscience? Its good you are losing your peace and that is God warning you.

Dont ignore that warning else i see danger coming ahead and very near.

No one continues to steal forever, one day there will be an error that will expose everything and by that time, the shame and complications that will come, even the so-called big boys you are chilling with with not care about what happens to you.

First, repent and stop the act (you wont die).
Secondly, invest some of the money you have saved like setting up something for your wife to do and support you.
Threaten management that if they do not hire an auditor , you may leave.
Seek forgiveness from God and ask Him genuinly to help you. Everything will be fine thereafter.
But like i said, do not ignore this warning and lose of peace you are getting from God. It may be your last chance to do the right thing.

How To Identify And Differentiate A Yoruba Name Or A Yoruba Person From Other Nigerians.

This guide will help non-Nigerian to different Yoruba from other Nigerian.

Quick one:
A. A Yoruba name does not have 'Ch', 'Kw' written in it.
B. You rarely will find two (non nasal) consonant written together except for 'Gb' which is very common.
C. A Yoruba name or word does not begin with the letter 'U'
D. There are no Q, C, Z, X, and V alphabets in Yoruba words so you will not see them in a Yoruba name.

## On Nigeria Passport, ''Place of birth" of most Yoruba people are located in these state: Oyo state, Lagos State, Ogun state, Ondo State, Kwara state, Osun state, Ekiti state, Kogi state and Edo state (All south west state). If you search on google. e.g Ibadan (my place of birth) is located in Oyo state.
## Most Yoruba persons are respectful.
## Most Yoruba people are civil. Their engagement are mostly intellectually.
## Although, Yoruba people are very spiritual, you will rarely see a Yoruba person as religion extremist.
## Most young Yoruba are Hardworking, Tech savvy, honest and trust worthy. They are Omoluabi.
## A Yoruba person is not boastful.
## Most Yoruba person are contented.

Tori bi omo o ba daran la se n fun l'oruko. Those non-Yoruba people who are well determined to spoil Nigeria name both within and outside the country (in the name name of being a Nigerian) should be easily differentiated from Yoruba.
Good. But wait o, who ask you self? grin
