I can relate to the prayer part... I always tell God to take me where i would be fulfilled in my career,and he answered my prayers.As at last year,i was depressed about not getting a job despite several applications and good grades. Today,i am an associate with the firm of a renowned lawyer in Nigeria,and i feel fulfilled.In the meantime,i advice job seekers not to stay idle..Get anything legal to do,to avoid being depressed and overly dependent on people for your basic needs.Previously,I was working in a small firm without salary,I was just getting transport fare and small change from court appearances.My point is,try to start from somewhere no matter how small,God that sees your hustle would uplift you.If you have the time,read books to refresh your memory and sharpen your work skills and knowledge. Also,dont just sit in front of your laptop and apply for jobs,try coldcalling companies you would like to work with.My firm never advertised for an opening,i got an info that he wants to hire more hands,and i called him to inform him of my desire to work with him.I was given a date for interview,which i attended.I got called this year after like 5 months.I have already resigned myself to fate that i would never work there,when i got a call from the principal partner.So never give up,do your part and leave the rest to God.The water when you go drink,no go pass you by.I trust God to answer the prayers of those who diligently seek him in their daily endeavors.

First of all,is ur dad represented by counsel?So far,from the information furnished by you,a good lawyer can get bail for your father,and even apply for enforcement of his fundamental rights that are being breached.There are questions i would have asked;but i doubt if you have been actively involved, as to knowing the fruits of the police investigation.Bottomline is,your family has to start looking for money and get a good criminal defence firm,else your dad may remain there for years. My boss is very good with these kinds of cases,but his fees are quite pricey. Anyways, all the best!

Thank u for enlightening them...Its very fundamental that a woman knows the financial stand of a man she is involved with.That way it helps them to plan their future together especially where both are of marriageable age.Besides, i see nothing wrong in answering the question, honesty is key except you don't see yourself being with the person for the long haul.Its even better for the man,so she knows whats up early and decide if she can cope or not.

no,i first of all parboiled d rice,den washed it.Next was putting it in a pot,adding d left over stew, curry,thyme,seasoning and salt.After that,i added water to the level of the rice so it doesn't over cook.Before then i had already sliced the carrots,green pepper,green peas and beans.When the rice was cooked,like normal jollof.I fried half of the veggies and added half of the rice to it,stirred and transferred to a cold pot like it was fried rice. I did same for the remaining batch,and food was ready.This method is tastier than adding d veggies to cook, when the rice is almost done.

i used the leftover stew made with tinned and fresh tomatoes i had already stored in my fridge.If you use certain tin tomatoes,u can get that color,esp derica.Just make sure the rice is proportionate to the tomatoes to prevent it from being whitish.

Yea,attorney and client communications are privileged, so far i don't recall revealing the merits of the case. Besides,the professional relationship is over, because after the supreme Court, he can only appeal to God.As for your statement on lawyers being liars,that is a general misconception founded on lack of knowledge on the duties and obligations of an attorney.We are to put up a defence,no matter how feeble,based on the constitutional provision of presumption of innocence and fair hearing of an accused.We owe him a duty as lawyers to follow his instructions and abide by what he wants as his defence.Our job is merely to present his case before the court and argue the elements.Its not our job to ask whether he did it or not(that's left for his priest to find out during confession).

jeez i love you..I dont get the outcry.Is he the first to be given a death sentence? His sentence should be commuted,who is going to speak for d church members already dead due to incineration,can their death be commuted to life?My firm handled his case from trial to appeal,i read his file exhaustively.. Trust me,the judgement of the supreme court is well deserved even though it wasn't in our favour as his defence attorneys...Everyone in my office knows what actually went down..#nosympathy.

While serving, i was able to save abt 10k monthly from my 19800.I plan to save 60 percent of my salary from this month end,when i get paid at my new place of work.Some confuse good money management with being miserly. Wheras it can be achieved by proper planning and prioritization of ones's needs.Here are some tips that has helped me over the years.
1.Buy foodstuffs in bulk..Its relatively cheaper.I restock on foodstuffs every 3 months. I spend 15-20k on that.Its better than buying 3 maggi 20 naira,when you can get the whole pack with 100 cubes for 250-300.By so doing,you save time spent touring the market,since you have most ingredients at home.
2.Learn to avoid impulse buying..I plan my major purchases like 2 months ahead of time.Dont fall for advertising gimmicks that makes people buy what they really dont need e.g expensive smartphones and other luxury items.Be very sure its something you cant do without before paying for it.
3.Be your own person.Learn to enjoy spending time all by yourself.If you keep very outgoing friends,who club and turn up at expensive lounges,you wont be able to save at all ,as you would have to foot the bill at one time or the other.If you get bored on weekends read books,watch movies or just basically relax at home.There is always sth to do on weekends around the house in terms of cleaning and preparation for the next week.
4.Try to cook your own meals.This is not easy for me now because i just switched jobs and it requires me to work 8-6,Monday through saturday..My work leaves me mentally exhausted that i just want to sleep when i get home.I still try to cook break fast and dinner.For lunch i eat out sometimes,on some days i take food to work when i can.This would reduce your living expenses.
5.Its advisable to move to an apartment close to work to reduce transportation costs.
6.Make family and friends understand that you may not be able to assist them financially at all times,else you would go bankrupt being a father Christmas.
7.Do well to leave your atm at home,very far from where it can be easily reached. Thats to reduce the temptation to withdraw money frequently.What i do is to withdraw say 15k,and it sustains me till month end in terms of Feeding lunch and transportation. If i am not with my atm card,i don't feel pressured to make impulse purchases,because the cash on me would be just a little above what i need to have lunch and pay fare to and from work for that day.
Those are few tips that has helped me develop good saving culture over the years..Occasionally, its nice to give yourself a treat;go to the movies or get yourself a Luxury item you have been craving..You only live once so you have to pamper yourself occasionally.However, it shouldn't put a dent on your savings.

I must admit, I always have quite a number of apps running on the background (sometimes up to 15). My Samsung phone only allows about six apps running at the same time, with this phone, I forget that all the previously opened apps are still running. I'll bear in mind to close apps I don't need from now on.

You may hv to revisit that link i posted earlier by android pit,so u can know how to maximize your battery life.The phone on its own has good battery life,but if u over labor it,u cant get much out of the battery.Try to put ur phone on airplane mode when u r not using internet connectivity for some time.

MODIFIED-I have noticed the battery is better where there is good network, because poor network drains battery since the phone is constantly searching for Gsm signal.I got about 12 hrs heavy usage from it, 6 am till 5.30pm today,i still have 16 percent left.

Honestly the battery is not impressive one bit. Queenfave assured that the battery performance will improve with time. I hope she's right o, this battery hardly carries me for six hours. Another thing is that messages don't drop in my bbm unless I select the bbm icon. What can be done to rectify this? Hope I don't have to exit power saving mode o.

uhm my battery lasts o..maybe cos i dont hv battery draining apps installed, and i close my apps that i dont need in d background.

except you want to join forces with someone else and rent a 2 or 3 bedroom flat. that's a cheaper option. the more affordable apartments are farther away from ui area. I heard the places around the polytechnic are very affordable.

Just got mine, 22k at microstation. Still trying to get used to it. Its really slick and cute (not as wide as my former phone, my eyes are still yet to get used to the tiny fonts on Nl). I was told to charge it for at least four hours but I ended up charging it for just over 3 hours . I couldn't wait for the power to be restored so I switched on and started navigating it. In less than 30 minutes, almost 10% had drained . This is not what I signed up for, a brand new phone should at least have good battery duration. Can you imagine how fast the battery will be draining by the time it is 3 months and above? Even the battery monitor says I have around 6 hours of usage left as at 93% now at 73% I don't know how much hours it has left. @ queenfave and olayinkajnr, is that how yours is like? How do I salvage the situation? Should i switch it off and charge it very well again? power saver will restrict my app usage but I am considering switching to it now.

it has a far better battery optimization.it was 100 percent by 6am,by 2 pm i still had 20 percent.Note that i am a heavy user,infact i am happy when my battery is low,cos then i can rest and face my work well...I am always surfing the net when i am not busy,listening to music or chatting.On d average, i get 10 hrs non stop heavy usage from it..So imagine if i were not a heavy user.. Face it,gionee makes better phones.

what i did was to move stuff around to put thwm where i want.Then sorted out d tools folder and dragged apps i didnt want on full diaplay into it.onve u swipe up with a finger, d launcher settings will show in case you want widgets.
