What you have demonstrated here is the same cognitive dissonance one gets from some of the more virulent TANoids.
It amounts to an unwillingness to conduct a fact based debate.
what on earth are you talking about?? What fact? From where?

Ok lets start again

What time in the video did Shehu make mention of the All eyes on Africa TV programme

Obiagelli:
Now this is more like it, a direct quote with evidence, with this the Apc and Garba shehu can be held responsible.
I will be sending this link out.
I found myself having to read alot more into this situation that I would have liked.

The statement was issued to Thisday - the only mention of the tv programme was made by FFK in the THisday article reporting on it. .

This is exactly where other newspapers will have gotten quotes from the statement - anything further to what was posted in Thisday is clearly speculation.

Why haven't we even seen an exact copy of the email and statement sent to Thisday self? This would have cleared the issue up immediately.

Who else but Garba Shehu himself?

Did you actually watch that youtube video?
I told you already I watched the video he said he General visited a local TV station.
PoliticsRe: I Was Conned By APC, Lai Mohammed And Shehu Garba - Guardian Editor by queensmith: 11:59am On Mar 01, 2015
The press release didn't mention the all eyes on Africa show or Kemi Fadojuti that was speculation from the newspapers as were the photographs. All a result of the shoddy state of journalism in Nigeria.

What will be the purpose of lying about something so trivial when he did indeed have a meeting with Tony Blair and spoke at Chatham house. Activities we can all now confirm happened as we were able to witness ourselves the fact that he's not in hospital?

When are they going to quit flogging his dead horse?

Was the Transcorp interview anywhere in this press release? I have checked all the known channels for buhari campaign information and i am yet to see the Transcorp interview in any of them.
What is the source of this picture? Where did the guardian editor get those pictures from?
Let him post an email confirmation or something. Certainly the pics were not sent to him in a phone call.
They didn't make those claims, it came from Linda Ikejis blog. I don't know when we began to take her posts as truths.

I even listened to the interview by Shehu. He said he General visited a local TV station how people have now made these assumptions are beyond me.
PoliticsRe: FG Approves $403m Loan For 4 APC Governors (lagos, Rivers, Ogun & Osun) by queensmith: 11:42am On Mar 01, 2015
I'm totally ignorant on this subject.

Is the loan a domestic one or to foreign institutions?

If the latter isn't there some sort of responsible lending policy that ensures states outline exactly what the money will be used for before the loan payments are made?

Especially if made to corrupt governments??

Amefrica:
Really bad mehn... It seriously has some negative effects on me. The money my dad sends that I change for like $1000 before, I now get less than $800 for it.

Nigeria making lives of citizens stressful since 20AD undecided
Another terrific example - now your dad will need to send more money, this is money that is going to exit the economy as opposed to remaining in circulation. Less demand for labour and services in the borders those that are poor will be thrown into poorer times and those better off will start to suffer. Nobody wins in this dangerous game theyre playing.

989900:
Personally, I don't want us to see this from a partisan point of view, rather from an economic/'cumulative-bad-governance' point of view; dating from way back (it's hard to argue against it's amplification by the present administration though).
This will be difficult, because it's hard to see what the continuous motivation if for the government to rubbish the naira to this extent. They're doing it to enrich themselves when they plunder the foreign reserve.

When NOI was asked what happened to the FR she said the money was distributed to the governments, since when was this standard practice? She has indirectly told us that the government simply plundered the reserve.
BusinessRe: The Danger That Come With Naira Devaluation by queensmith:
Not to worry, soon Nigerians themselves will abandon naira all together in the market and it'll turn into Somalia, where you'll be using dollars to purchase meat and potatoes. Who wants to hold on to the naira knowing it will be worth less? And if you think that will encourage spending think again. It will only encourage people to store savings offshore taking away much needed capital from the country.

It's only a matter of time.

adetwin:
Will APC now change dollar back to #100 if they will the presidential ticket? OR WHAT
If APC plan on being a good government - and not one that simply plans on appeasing people they're going to have to make some very tough choices. The presidential seat isn't going to be an easy one to occupy right now, because the looters have done well and finally destroyed the economy.

They will have to assume oil prices won't rise and make the much needed cuts to our current overheads, which is ridiculous. This means laying off workers and slashing the salaries and expenditures of the polity. It's going to be difficult but it needs to be done, they can then use the funds to stimulate production, we need to grow our export market and finally take the steps towards diversification.

They also need to stall all this borrowing, it's not helping and its causing inflation. NNPC needs a complete overhaul, they shouldn't be allowed to manage their own money because they do such a poor job of it. We also need to look at privatising some sectors - removal of legislative barriers that seem to prevent power companies from distributing electricity.

I'm afraid if Buhari does win this tenure will be compared to his last one which was said to be difficult. Even if he is able to recover money from the looters it ill be an arduous and expensive process and the proceeds probably won't be enough to buffer.

The current Boko Haram problem doesn't even help, but I think we should take assistance from foreign governments if they're willing to help. There is no reason why we should spend all our money towards it.

Nigeria can be made right if we have the right people with the right intentions working at it. They just have to be willing instead of only being interested in their own pockets. The naira can make a comeback if we are producing enough to stimulate demand.

PoliticsRe: A 72 Year Old Man Has Nothing To Offer Nigerians – Dame Jonathan by queensmith: 8:16pm On Feb 27, 2015
bushdoc9919:
Oh well....meanwhile PDP has no plans for the drop in oil price.

Buhari may be a 72 year old gent....and BTW I think he should retire....but 16 years of PDP rule....including five years of high oil prices.....and suddenly we are left helpless with a sudden drop in oil prices.

Right now oil is at $60. Nigeria needs it at $123 to meet our needs. We do not have enough saved. Meanwhile....we have several projects completed....that we may not be able to maintain in the long run because of low revenues from low oil prices.

PDP has failed in getting us off oil. OBJ, Yaradua and Jonathan failed between them to fix our light. Right now...we are celebrating producing at half the daily national need. There is scarcity of fuel in the street right now. Our universities are poorly funded...and instead of improving the funding...we are bnuilding more of them. Well....at low oil prices them new universities will get dillapidated in a few years.

I am sorry....but the sad thing about Nigeria is that we are between a rock and a hard place. APC too has no plans to help us. All APC wants to do is spend money they do not have. And bringing back an old relic.

Still....the issue for PDP is not Buhari's age or certificate....but the fact that in 16 years.....there have been a lot of missed opportunities. And the annoying thing is that when you complain......you are called a Hausa slave, or a Mallam, or a terrorist. Well....this Hausa slave is saying that PDP better improve....and they should stop pretending all is well....and start actually telling us their answers to the problems Nigeria faces.Instead of running after ambulances.
The university statement! Thank you! and people keep regurgitating, jonathan is building schools! yet with all the schools theyve built people are flocking abroad for education? rubbish!!

APC have better plans and ideas than pdp imo - pdp are comfortable, 16 years and nothing? Soon Ghana will be in a better position! I say Ghana as if people aren't already flocking there for school and services!
PoliticsRe: APC Formed To Install A Northerner As President - EDWIN CLARK by queensmith: 5:49pm On Feb 27, 2015
The fear of Buhari is the beginning of wisdom. PDP and co will print, do or say just about anything, not to win the elections but to prevent Buhari from winning.

We should all be curious as to why. . . . .

This is what happens when you become an investigator watching criminal minds on tv

Those people you've called plants were the crux of the lousy and rowdy demonstration of those apparently supporting GEJ (as opposed to being vehemently against buhari)

You could even tell that most of the protesters were unwilling to speak to her and even avoided her alltogether

I didnt see her claim shes trying to be unbiased, she was clearly with the group of supporters and was curious about the band of randoms that decided to protest in a ghetto way in front of a highly regarded institution hosting an academic event.

Turns out they are hired 'entertainers' from Manchester, which explains alot.

The only thing you have now revealed to us is the extent of your own foolishness. kmt

mugu, there was never a party officially recognized as new PDP in Nigeria.

i ask again, how many jobs did fashola create for lagosians. GEJ's own is many and still counting.

how many schools did he build or refurbish in Lagos, GEJ gave us brand new universities and over 100 amajiri schools
It will behoove you to learn where exactly the funding for projects come from.

If jonathan told you he built those schools (imagining they exist) he is a liar

Mr toll fee abeg shut up.

compare the rail when you no fit complete to the one GEJ constructed from Abuja to Kaduna.

tell us how people you created employment for in lagos state. Amaechi did 12,000 in education sector alone when he was in PDP and has not done even 100 since he joined APC.
why will you do that? If you are left comparing a brand new project to a mere renovation of an exiting one (with used materials I might add) don't you see there is a problem?

all these little little groups, where were they and what were they doing when the chibok girls were kidnapped? when corrupt leaders were gunning for political seats? when 1.7million were displaced in the north? when subsidy was removed petrol prices hiked? when the federal government refused to deliver electricity as promised? when civil servants salaries were being held months on end?

what exactly is the purpose of these groups?

With that being said, where are the 1600 Diesel buses we were told will transport 170million nigerians?
PoliticsRe: Elechi Served Impeachment Notice By Ebonyi House Of Assembly by queensmith: 1:17pm On Feb 27, 2015
Political cross carpeting is a problem that should be curbed, if you want to leave your party you should also relinquish the seat you won on their behalf. If this isn't changed soon this issue will be ongoing.

Now if this is true - where is the evidence let us see it.

Of what importance is this Chatham House bla bla to us Nigerians and our economy.
Apc known with wrong priorities since 1850AD.
People keep saying this, why do Nigerians insist on being so ignorant.

Presidency and leadership is not just about votes, the president of Nigeria is not only influencing the lives of those in Nigeria, he needs to provide reassurance to the international community and Nigerians abroad also.

A festering insurgency in Nigeria is a festering problem for the world, a failure of democracy in Nigeria is a failing democracy for the world, a country with a high number of unemployed youths is a problem for the world. He is there to tell the world what his plans are if elected so the international community can work with him. This is the duty of a sensible president unlike the one currently at Aso rock who cowers whenever being addressed by an oyibo! kmt
