Queseda:

In all honesty I think the SW really shot themselves in the foot with their performance in this election. For me, the battle for 2023 should be between the SS(they really turned up) and SW.
You Yorubas are still yet to understand that Nigerian politics is all about personal interest because it's a winner-takes-all. Your brothers across the Niger understand this very well and you can see that in the way they gave block votes to GEJ in 2015 despite his poor performance in office, I have said it many times, you guys run the risk of taking the backseat as far as politics is concerned if you don't learn to put your money where your mouth is. The same okoros who call you all sorts of names for your alliance with the north are secretly negotiating behind you but will come here to gloat and grunt about not giving a Bleep about political positions, the recently concluded elections have shown that but the entire SW just dodged a bullet, thanks to the huge votes from the North.
The problem with SW in my opinion is that you people take too much significance into what others think about you, because I really can't explain why PDP got such huge numbers despite their very poor records in the region. Make I no talk much as una be my inlaws grin
Reference my post many months ago. The SW does not deserve the APC ticket! Next time, they will learn to put their money where their mouth is

Politics / Re: Reno Omokri: Jonathan’s Reaction To Sowore’s Detention By Buhari Government by Queseda: 9:52am On Sep 23, 2019
All these futile attempts to launder GEJ's image at every given opportunity, speaks volume about how insecure Jonathanians feel. No matter what Reno and his gullible swines feel, those of us who don't suffer selective amnesia knows the truth.
GEJ is democratic but sent soldiers to seize newspapers because of unfavorable headlines, used soldiers to attack protesters during the 'occupy Nigeria' protests, his wife molested a seating governor(Amaechi), used soldiers to rig elections in Ekiti.....and so on grin
No amount of image laundering can remove all these atrocities, as a matter of fact, there's nothing Buhari has done that GEJ didn't do(if not worse)
Power intoxicates, and I'm yet to see any President who didn't misuse power since 1999, the only exception being the late Yaradua
Reno should stop insulting our intelligence with his unending attempts at rewriting history, GEJ was a failure!

And when has demanding a change for better leadership become a crime, this Reno is just one bitter soul who will never recover from the loss of GEJ. Anyone who felt Jonathan should have been left to continue despite his woeful performance is either a tribalist or one political jobber like Reno. Sowore demanded for better leadership than Jonathan has to offer by supporting Buhari, and it's the same better leadership he's demanding by organizing a protest against the same Buhari he supported in 2015. Is there a law that forbids anyone from protesting against someone you once supported if you feel the person isn't living to your expectations? Reno will die a bitter man

State001:
A former Minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, has alleged that Fulanis pose a danger to Nigeria's stability, peace and unity, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that Fani-Kayode made the claims on his verified Twitter handle, @realFFK, on Saturday (yesterday).

He accused the group of having insatiable lust for power, alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari has Islamisation agenda for the country.

“The greatest danger to Nigeria's stability, peace and unity is the insolent and rappacious disposition and insatiable lust for power of the Fulani hegemonists coupled with the Fulanisation and Islamisation agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari”, he said.

For the last 59 years as a nation we have been swimming in one big massive soakaway and the stench is unbearable”, Fani-Kayode added.

After going through most comments above, one really begins to wonder how a country has such a huge number of ignorant folks and unemployable graduates. For heaven's sake, should INEC bend the law because PDP candidates are leading in a neck-to-neck contest where the number of cancelled votes is greater than the margin of lead? I've not seen any of you attack INEC for declaring the elections in which an APC candidate is leading as inconclusive, as in the case of Plateau. Funny how these same set of ignorant folks will be shouting rule of law when it suits them but would want INEC to go against the law when it doesn't favour them. You're all victims of the damage PDP did to this country by looting the money for your proper education and enlightenment, I'm sorry for you all grin

sarrki:
I recall Tinubu as governor. He appointed Igbos to his cabinet. Ben Akabueze who does national planing for Buhari, once did same for Lagos.

Tinubu had a spelling competition for young lads. Whoever won, was made governor for Lagos for a day. As in Tinubu literally vacated Alausa for the champ. He or she would travel with DSS escorts in Tinubus armoured jeep and wear his trademark cap, and seat on his seat. I recall, a certain Ebuka was the first beneficiary of this gesture. You need to see how Tinubu and his wife feted that boy. I was jealous.

Say what you like about Tinubu and Lagos, I've never witnessed large scale discrimination against Igbos.

Go to Lagos inland revenue service, you'd see Igbos working there. Are there no better educated Yorubas? Yet, Igbos are given some consideration.

I witnessed same in Ogun state.

Maybe, it's all these things that will make someone begin to imagine that Lagos is no man's land.

Lagos must Be protected
Yorubas are the architects of whatever rubbish the Igbos in Lagos say about them. Imagine, how can you employ foreigners to work in your civil service when you have thousands of unemployed SWners? How many non-Igbos will u find in SE state civil service? Zero! You keep playing the big brother role to ingrates at the detriment of your own people. To the extent of even granting them representation in the House of Assembly. Una mumu never do!

Most, if not all Yorubas in PDP are bastards. They are the ones selling out the region for their selfish gains. The Igbos deserve any sort of treatment meted out to them for poking their noses into what certainly isn't any of their business. Yorubas should be glad to have politicians in the mould of Tinubu who puts their interest first.

While this is a good thing, you need to evolve politically and start putting your interests first before any other considerations or forever take the backseat as far as politics in Nigeria is concerned. Check the numbers across the country, it is only the SW and NC that gives almost 50:50 votes to the two parties, the NC can be excused for its diversity, same can't be said of Yorubas. The North will always be winners and will only look for a reliable partner (that can help further their cause with Bloc votes) downsouth which the SW has unfortunately failed to show they're capable of. The SW either evolves politically or take the backseat

O to ge is good for Bukola Saraki but O to ge is not good for Tinubu, keep deceiving yourselves cry

For those saying that Lagos is developed by Tinubu, please let me educate you just small:

Lagos has been the capital city of Nigeria since 1914 after it was moved from Calabar. This means Lagos enjoyed federal government development just like Abuja today. Can any Abuja Mayor claim he built or developed Abuja to what it is today 90% of developments in Abuja is built by Federal Government, and mind you, Abuja became Nigeria's capital from 1991 december, now compare it with Lagos that became the capital city of Nigeria from 1914 january till December 1991.

In fact Lagos is going backward compared to other top city centers in Africa like Lagos and its all because of Tinubu's greed and grip on Lagos.

Lagos seaport enjoyed colonial master and federal government's immunity and favor, making it the most functional seaport in the whole of Nigeria where 80 - 95% of Nigeria's importation and exportation businesses take place, thereby bringing a concentration of multinational and indigenous businesses (both small, medium and large scale) to Lagos for ease of business transaction since most Nigerian businesses depend solely on importation from outside Nigeria.

What does this mean It means Lagos Internally Generated Revenue alone is almost same with that of Nigeria as a whole since 90% of most businesses are done through Lagos seaport making every business to move to Lagos to cut down cost of logistics, now tell me how this is Tinubu's making

A mad man will perform in Lagos due to the enormous IGR and concentration of companies, industries, businesses, entrepreneurs, etc in Lagos.

It is Federal government of Nigeria that built all the magnificent structures you see in Lagos today, quote me anywhere any day any time.

Name the structures Tinubu built in Lagos, name one if not planting flowers, building roundabouts and brt lanes, what else can Tinubu + Fashola + Ambode boast of as their developmental achievement in Lagos since democracy kicked off in 1999

3rd Mainland bridge and most bridges linking Lagos cities were built by federal government of Nigeria under the military government, and most of these structures are dilapidated before your own eyes without Lagos government being able to even maintain them.

Go round Lagos, most inter city, estate and street roads built by military governments are gone and local governments can't even maintain them simply because the LGA Chairmen remit large percentage of LGA development project funds to Tinubu and political allies, so LGAs are left with no money to maintain roads and infrastructures in their local government areas....

Travel round Lagos, you will spend hours in traffic on a journey of 20 minutes just because no good road networks in Lagos, the few good ones are filled with potholes, Lagos as we speak have no smooth roads again, its even Ambode that tried to build some new roads around Abule-egba, Epe, etc, before now, those areas are unmotorable, so what is Tinubu's developmental contribution to Lagos if not stealing and killing political opponents angry

The only laudable project started by Lagos is the Badagry railway to west africa which has been lingering since 2007...

The developments you see in Lagos are built by private organizations and individuals who reside in Lagos and have their investments in Lagos...Lagos is dying and going back due to Tinubu's grip and greed, kiss the truth

Yoruba have allowed iboes to exploit their religious differences to divide them. Shame! After all PMB did for them. If PMB wins, it is because of the bloc votes he is getting from the north, simple. Yoruba have let themselves down and will no longer be seen as a reliable partner. I am disappointed. Yoruba are taking their privileged position for granted. By the time they swap positions with the iboes that is when they will value what they have. The north will always lord it over the country because they have the population. It is who sticks with them that will partake in the sharing of the national cake.
God bless you. The Yoruba Christian vs Yoruba Muslim thing is gradually having its desired effect and I'm ashamed a tribe with so much native intelligence like Yorubas can easily fall for it. By the time the dust settles and Buhari wins, the West should just hide their face in shame because they didn't contribute nothing despite being the biggest gainers in this administration.
