spyder880: Please, can you tell me which of these strips of roofing sheets is NOT aluminium?

This question is the opening statement on this page, and 3 days later, nobody has tried to identify the non aluminium? Does it mean we all agree that we cannot identify when you will be cheated and sold zinc instead of aluminium, even when the price variance is up to 500 naira per sq. meter? A dishonest roofer can make a huge killing, more than 400k from this variance and we cannot identify the fake by looking at it? Nuff said grin before some roofers will shut me up cheesy
Answer:
4. Holy bush green
4. Sovereign blue
3. Ocean blue

spyder880: I prefare the first option because it will take less portion of land to build and there are more flat renters than bungalow renters. Some people cannot agree to live downstairs in a bungalow.

Please dont bet on the second option being cheaper to build, I have good reasons to believe it will be more expensive to build 6 flats on the ground than on a single 2 storey block.
ok thanks.
I guess part of your reasons could be the bungalows' roofing and the valuable land space they will occup

Hi Spyder,
I need your advice. which is more economical if have 3 plots of land (300ft by 100ft) in Port Harcourt.
It is for basic residential renting purpose. No fancy finishing. I have two options:
1. A 2-story building of 6 two-bedroom flats in only one plot (6 flats)(Probably requires more money and time to complete)
2. 3 bungalows of two-bedroom twin flats each.(6 flats) (probably requires less money and time to complete).

Which do you think is more profitable?
BusinessRe: Walmart Nigeria: Good Or Bad Idea? (Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala) by question(m): 1:24pm On May 22, 2012
On second thoughts, if the Nigerians are smart, they can be the next potential china. The government can tell Walmart: Why import from China when cheap labor and raw materials are available in Nigeria . And sooner or later the factories will start springing up here and there.

Basic economics:
If the foreign investor cannot increase exportation of NIGERIAN good and services...or reduce importation of FOREIGN goods and services, then it is a just another fiasco.

FamilyRe: How Do I Collect My Money?? by question(m): 5:03pm On Mar 30, 2012
Meanwhile, the bereaved husband is now a single parent with all the financial/emotional stress of a new born baby.

Wish you luck in getting your money back.
FamilyRe: How Do I Collect My Money?? by question(m): 4:59pm On Mar 30, 2012
^^^ So assuming (god forbid)that you are robbed or swindled of 700k. You mean you will stick to getting your money back at all cost?
FamilyRe: How Do I Collect My Money?? by question(m): 4:39pm On Mar 30, 2012
May she RIP.
Did you attended the burial? at least a show concern (not only for the money).
Did her baby survive?

Anyway, Lesson #1 Never lend money you cannot afford to lose.

My advice is to inform the husband. If he pays, good.
If he does not want to pay or cannot pay, just forget the money and move on.

Who says you cannot give away more than N700k to charity.

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Horror: by question(m): 11:09am On Oct 25, 2011
Stock brokers will always advice you to re-strategise and buy more stocks even when the thing is falling into abyss.

Most of the stocks prices as at 2006 - 2009 were based on inflated speculations.

But you should shine your eye well well before you invest again.

As they say "once bitten twice shy".
