Here's an advise to y'all start your business while working for someone, unfortunately the labor law of Nigeria is non-existent. Start no matter how small, Rome was not built in a day.
Go to Sango Ota, Nassarawa & Ondo and see the modern day slave trade and the government of these states boast of being the industrial state of Nigeria.
Indians, Lebanese, Chinese and some Nigerian have turned Nigerians to semi machine, you need to see these factory workers and you would weep.
Some of the chemicals used are hazardous, no protective gears, some factory workers work with bare foot and hands, a few with slip as a result of the slippery floor and break a leg, an arm or even have internal bleeding as a result of the fall. It's disheartening to see many at them at gate of these factories as early as 7:00am hoping to be picked for a job so as to fend for their family.
Daily pay is less than a $1 and any mistake or latenesses you will never get your full pay, at the end of the day most factory workers resort to stealing from their employers.
I recall few years ago, a member of armed force begging a Chinese man that once he opens his factory he would appreciate if he could talk to his superior to allow him work with the man as an escort.
The truth is, these Chinese, indians and Lebanese understand our system and how corrupt our system is. Explain to me how an Indian man would slap a police officer |

There is a saying in the local parlance, if you are not wise in Lagos, you cannot be wise anywhere in the world them don talk am say If u no wise
Part of the places in Lagos that you will learn lesson, Alaba International is one of them. I mean learning the hard way.
If you never learn from Alaba, then have it at the back of your mind that you are still not a Lagosian and you can easily fall for cheap game play.

A bear lived over a mountain.
He would feast on honey, berries, or fishes from the river flowing through the mountain.
One morning, he went to the river to hunt fishes.
He stepped in the shallow water and carefully looked down.
Minutes and hours went by; he couldn't find a single fish.
Huge appetite and hunger made him frustrated.
Suddenly a fish arrived from some distance.
Before the bear saw her, she saw him.
She came near, and before he would attack her, she changed her path.
She came back and started irritating and poking the bear.
The bear got angry and decided to chase her.
As he started chasing her, she took him towards the waterfall, falling hundreds of feet in the valley.
Although aware about the existence of waterfall, the bear, in anger, kept chasing her.
A monkey, sitting on a tall tree, was noticing everything, especially how the fish was trying to make the bear fall down the hill and die.
Out of courtesy, the monkey shouted and tried to warn bear about the fall.
The bear stopped and realised his mistake.
The fish came back towards the bear and poked him.
Seeing her close, the bear couldn't control his anger and went a little ahead to attack her.
A few steps ahead bear couldn't control his movement and fell down the hill on a rock.
As he shouted for his life while falling, the fish laughed safely falling along him and swam away.
The bear died a painful death.
Despite being warned by the monkey, the bear, out of anger, made a huge mistake and died.
This is how anger works, it makes you dumb, deaf and blind to the simplest of facts and common sense, and you end up losing some way or the other. Zooposki: The husband should stop watching football and help her with the household chores. |

Foodqueen: I will make this as brief as possible.
There is a man living with 3 children, a teenage daughter and two sons. His wife is late. He's about 45yrs old. He does all kinds of menial job.. I mean anything, from riding okada to clearing grass or labourer for bricklayer..... anything at all to put food on the table for him and his children.
He's someone that usually come to me sometimes for advice. Last year I advised him to put his children in public school and he did.
Most times when you see him, he is always thinking and talking to himself now and he wasn't like this before.
Everyone have noticed that he's depressed.
The last few weeks have become worse, u see him walking up and down asking everyone if there is anything he can do to get paid.
Saw me yesterday and he just said " kini mo leshe oti su mi".
I looked at his teary eyes and I told him, I will get back to him.
I don't even know what to tell him anymore, cos I know almost all his struggles.
What advise can I give. Was this one-off? Does he have a church he attends? What about his siblings? Does he have friends? |

Prostitution exist in Dubai, I will not deny with this fact. Every women sex worker visit Dubai meet anyone it’s with her own consent. I have been to many cities in the world where prostitutes / sex workers are escorting like Europe, USA and Asia believe me Every where you will find human trafficking, gangs, Stupid Agents dealing this industry. Thanks to the authorities in Dubai here no gang is operating who’s involved in trafficking. Dubai one of the safest place on earth for tourist and residents. Still i am not defending prostitute should exist yes it’s 100% illegal in Dubai but if a women meet with any men with her own consent what ever happens in between that time it’s depend on both individual either they do sex or just a discussion or a coffee date and there is no harm if one is paying to other for the time. Again big thanks to UAE news laws like living together without marriage, Couple can hotel check-in together if even not married and gradually the laws are getting easier when it comes to meeting a men with women. jaeyking:
Sports betting is a thing of choice just like alcohol and patronising prostitutes
The government should establish places where all this can take place well Just like las Vegas
Generate taxes and build the economy
If Saudi, UAE and Qatar was really upholding shariah laws do you think they would develop
You have to create places for people to do their nonsense and generate income Abu Dhabi does not have prostitutes working the streets and the few there are in bars are usually fairly unobtrusive. Prostitution, although prohibited, is prevalent and easily accessible in Dubai. Women engaged in this business operate in brothels or massage establishments situated in the city's red-light areas. However, it is not only women, but also men who offer their services in the city. |
