Career › Re: Non-pension Remittance By An Employer by QuinModah(f): 3:39pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
There two methods Method 1 1. Get a statement of account from your PFA 2. Write a letter to your employer asking them to remit all your pension deducted from your monthly salary. 2(a). Attach a copy of the statement of account as evidence that your employer is not up to date in it's remittance of your pension. 2(b). If possible attach all your pay slip as evidence that your pension are constantly deducted. 2(c). Quote a section of the Pension Reform Act where there is penalty for non remittance of deducted pension from employee salary. 2(d) CC the following in your letter: PENCOM YOUR PFA EFCC. 3. Ensure you send a copy of the letter to your PFA and PENCOM. 4. Ensure you have a copy of your letter duly stamped " RECEIVED " 5. Do all above also by E-mail to your HR, Finance Dept, and MD, especially if you are not getting positive feedback from the hardcopy of your letter. Method 2 Write a letter to the Head, Surveillance Department, the address in Lagos is 88A oduduwa crescent Ikeja GRA, Lagos Watch the magic that would unfolds. Method 2 works faster than the speed of light Copied holyman44: Due to high rate of unemployment in the country, some employers are maltreating their employees. Even some will deduct your pension contributions and will not remit it together with their own contributions for as long as the employee is still in that employment and long after they left the job. How can one report this kind of an employer to the Nigerian pension authorities!? |

NE states are paying N570 per litre. NW states are paying 550 per litre. and SW states are paying N500 per litre.
If I had money I would invest in bicycle business now. So many people are going to stop driving cars or will reduce the amount of cars they own. |
Jobs/Vacancies › My Job Hunting In The City Of Abuja by QuinModah(op): 3:26pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
Written by Ngozi Uloka
The year 2023 started on a tumultuous note for me, as I found myself resigning from my job without a replacement. The toxicity of the workplace had taken a toll on my well-being, and I knew I had to make a change. Little did I know that this decision would lead me on a rollercoaster ride through the streets of Abuja, in search of new opportunities. This is the story of how I faced adversity head-on, battled through joblessness, and ultimately discovered the power of faith, hope, and unexpected blessings.
Struggles and Survival: As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, I found myself in a constant state of uncertainty. March was a particularly challenging month, as my savings dwindled and I struggled to make ends meet. Basic necessities like getting a hairdo or buying skincare products became distant luxuries. I lived from hand to mouth, relying on the support of friends and family. It was a humbling experience, where every day felt like a battle against hunger, frustration, and despair.
A Beacon of Light: During my self-imposed exile from the corporate world, I chanced upon the TIIDELab prefellowship and with a mix of excitement and apprehension, I applied and was granted admission TIIDELab became my guiding light in the midst of joblessness. Each day brought new knowledge, challenges, and the motivation to push beyond my limits. Depression and frustration, which had once consumed me, began to dissipate as I embraced the endless possibilities of the tech world.
Blessings and Breakthroughs: In the darkest moments, when all hope seemed lost, I discovered the unwavering faithfulness of God. He began to orchestrate divine connections and send helpers my way, individuals who believed in my potential and offered assistance without me even asking. It was nothing short of miraculous. And then came the life-altering moments — a first-time airplane journey. It may seem insignificant to some, but for me, it symbolized breaking free from limitations and defying the odds. Moreover, I became the first in my nuclear family, and one of the few in my extended family, to experience air travel — a groundbreaking achievement that shattered generational barriers.
A Testament to God’s Faithfulness: As my tech journey progressed, I constantly battled laptop issues. But in a beautiful twist of fate, I can proudly proclaim that I am now the owner of a MacBook, a gift bestowed upon me through the grace of God. It serves as a reminder that even in the face of challenges, God’s provision surpasses our expectations. It’s a testimony to the mantra I hold dear, “What God cannot do, does not exist!”
My journey through the rough terrains of joblessness and uncertainty has taught me invaluable lessons. It has shown me the resilience of the human spirit, the power of faith, and the blessings that await us on the other side of our struggles. Life may not always unfold as we anticipate, but if we persevere and trust in a higher power, miracles can happen. |

The minimum qualification for the non-commission officers is SSCE while the maximum is diploma certificate. The maximum rank for this is Master warrant officer. If you are able to further and get a BSc or HND, you will then apply for presidential commission to the rank of lieutenant as the case may be.
NOTE Nobody should deceive you that without godfather you cannot further your education. Its a BIG lie.. I know a lot of other ranks who are BSc and MSc holders. Note that your salary as SSCE holder in the military is a level 8 basic salary of x amount or there about.
We have tradesmen and non tradesmen. If you join as a tradesman, that's, if you have the skills needed in the military like technicians, plumbers etc, you might be given the rank of LCPL or CPL on passing out. If you join as non tradesman, you will pass out as a Private.
Furthering your school while in service depends on many factors. Your unit can release you to study and you can as well do it on your own. If your unit is to release you, you must have worked for some number of years and attain a certain rank. If you are to study on your own, it depends on your unit Commander, CO etc. If you are attached to work with a very senior officer, he can use his position to release you to study. Promotion in the service has nothing to do with your civil certificate. When you join the military, you will start attending military courses and promotion exams. You must be disciplined to the core to avoid having a regimental entries in your file to affect your promotions. COs and Commander's good recommendations are what qualifies you to be promoted. The highest rank attainable for soldiers is AWO. Army Warrant Officer. Master Warrant Officer is majorly the rank soldiers retires on. AWO rank is very few in the Army. Its for those who exceptionally distinguishes themselves in the service. Promotion is every four years if you qualified. At same time, you cannot rule out man know man. If you want to enjoy promotion to your next rank as when due, join the Air Force. For the Army, it will only take the grace of God for you to reach your desired rank because, you strives to be distinguished in the Army.
Pick the form Register online Wait for screening (Before it use to be state screening before zonal screening, but now I think it's only zonal screening that you will undergo) Screening? Running, Medical Examination, Screening of Certificates, that may not be the order though.
Tribe does not affect, since each state has its own quota.
When you join with SSCE, you're a recruit. After POP, you'll become a Private.
They will check your BP, Check your anus (for pile) check your balls/breasts ( to make sure it's two) Check if you have been operated before. Attitude test, x-ray test, oral test and physical test (running). What drops most people is fear of not been picked, which will make there BP to rise, and once you have high BP you will be disqualified. If you qualify for the training, the training is in Zaria (depot Nigeria army) you will be welcomed with frog jump from the first gate to the parade ground.
After three months you will be paid 3months allowance (arrears) and then you will be recieving monthly allowance every month for three more months. The first two weeks will be hard and painful for you, but if you persevere and endure the pains without running away from training for a month, the rest will be easy, the more the months, the less the stress. You will be a private soldier (rank) with a salary of xk.
Your tribe doesn't stop you from joining, just that it is more competitive, out of 1000 potential recruits, only 90 or less will be taken. As for getting commissioned later, you need to have Bsc or its equivalents, serve the army for 15 years (I heard it have been reduced to 12) with the rank of a Sgt before you can apply for Executive commission, the training will take 3months after which you will become a full lieutenant. Your rank won't exceed major before retirement. But if you don't go for the commissioning, your highest rank will be Army warrant officer (AWO) which is hard to get, but you can become a master warrant officer, that will be after many years in the army.
In those days it was possible, if you're determined and are lucky to have a good boss. But you'll pass through a lot of challenges. Now, with the insurgency, Fulani herdsmen, and other internal security challenges, it has become even more difficult.
No promotion for additional qualifications acquired on the job, but after earning your degree or HND, you can go for DSSC. No special consideration will be given to you though.
With SSCE, its Army Warrant Officer (AWO). Only a few people attain such. The probability of you reaching that is very low. 4 or maybe 5 per intake.
if you join with your ssce, you will start as a private, that is the lowest servile rank in the army. It's also possible to pursue a degree while in the army if you are fortunate to have a commissioned officer that can lobby you through. After you have obtained your degree you can convert to commisioned officer rank through DSSC or SSC; you start with the rank of a second lieutenant
The question is, are you ready to die for Nigeria? If No, please consider an alternative career. Do not join the military as a last resort or as a means to escape unemployment. if your crave to join the Nigerian army is driven by a burning passion for adventure and military regimental life, then I say to you go for it; but if you are driven just by the need to get a job and escape frustration, then I suggest you have a rethink because you won't like the job at all and you will consequently under perform.
Follow your mind. |

What are Weak Hands or Paper Hands?
"Weak hand" or "Paper Hand" is a term commonly used in #trading and #investing to refer to individuals who are easily influenced by short-term market fluctuations and tend to sell their assets quickly, often at the first sign of price #decline or volatility. These individuals lack conviction and are more prone to making impulsive decisions based on fear or panic rather than a #long-term investment strategy.
A weak hand #investor is typically driven by emotions and reacts to market movements without considering the underlying #fundamentals or #potential for future growth. They may lack patience and the ability to withstand temporary price fluctuations, leading them to sell their #positions prematurely and potentially miss out on potential gains. |
Romance › Re: How Do You Cope Knowing A Woman Past? by QuinModah(f): 3:00pm On Jun 22, 2023 |
Here I think by saying past you mean to say the relationships or anything related to it in her past. And obviously those past was not fruitful as I think.
Well, in that case just accept her past. And also make sure that her past never happens again. And finally, it should be done by every real man.
But still one can become her past even after accepting and helping her to overcome her past. Doing the right does not necessarily guarantees to give the right results. Sometimes fate has the last laugh.
Currently I am not in any types of relationship so I am not perfect to answer this question but I had written many loves poetry so on the basis of that I will try to write this answer.
There may be two situation :-
1. If she hides the truth and later on I came to know that. 2. If she will speak the truth by herself.
If the first situation will appear then she hadn't told you the truth before, maybe she will give the reason behind it. Try & be understanding with her reason. Then ask her that whether she is happy with you.
And if the second situation will be appear then, be much happier for her royalty. And then also I ask her that whether now if she's happy with you.
Remember one thing that before taking any decision you need to see the both faces of coin |
Politics › Re: Lagos Rice Value Chain Created 2,620 Jobs – Sanwo-olu by QuinModah(f): 2:59pm On Jun 22, 2023 |
You dead smart. Tenses: Just less than a million bags of 50kg rice for a population that is over 20 million the governor is saying 80 percent population.
15,000 metric tonnes every 4 months equate to 60,000 metric tonnes per annual.
60,000 X 1000 = 60,000,000Kg. During processing you loose 20% which equal to 48,000,000kg. Go ahead and divide by 50kg 48,000,000/ 50 = 960,000 bags of 50kg
Is just 4% 0f the population of Lagos. And the government is claiming a whooping 80%.
Modified : "We’ve scaled up local paddy production by 63.5 per cent, creating over 2,620 jobs and improving livelihoods in rice-producing communities."
If he is sincere he should start how many hactares of land was cultivated with rice to get the increment in paddy rice.
Governance in Nigeria is about talk and churning out bloated figures that reek of lies. |

bukatyne: Going through the thread, you realise a lot of the posters' moms had horrible marriages so they become pseudo-husbands to compensate.
Which boy who saw love between his parents grow up into a man who thinks his wife is a stranger to him?
Which mother who enjoyed her husband's love compete with her son's wife for his attention? Even if the husband is dead, she wants to preserve their memories and gingering her son to be good to his wife like her husband was good to her.
If you do not understand that you & your wife are one and tasked with building a new branch out of your extended family, don’t bother with marriage or marry your perfect mom. |
