I have never stated that any part of Nigeria is less or more developed than the other because of the same reason I stated in the post you quoted.

I don't measure development based on prices of real estate because to me, the entire country is a shithole.

If you look at the East, virtually everything they have accomplished has been by internal efforts, reason why they developed the one of the world's greatest venture capitalist model revered by a renowned TedX speaker in the form of apprenticeship... Not even your Ibadan or Southwest comes close to that in terms of uplifting their fellow Yorubas... And you know it.

Buyers of these luxury residences are mainly expatriates and non-residents operating businesses in Nigeria, the report said. Most residents cannot afford properties in these areas.


Nigeria’s capital city, Lagos has four of the 10 most-expensive locations. Abuja has three. Why did I say this? Because lands in the East is pretty expensive, including on villages. No jokes... In a village in the SW, you can find land for 200-300k but in the east, you won't get for 1M.

The ones you mentioned as having businesses in the SE WILL never say the East is undeveloped because they have traveled, they are exposed beyond the SW, they are not broke.
