Na the unpaid salary workers I just dey pity because I'm sure they can't be part of the "I don't care" miscreants in Abia. how many states manned by APC didn't owe salary? PDP is not perfect, but they are nowhere near as worse as APC. In fact, I say APC is PDP 2.0 cos the mayhem that APC is unleashing on the entire country is a foundation laid by PDP... But majority of Nigerians now know that PDP is far better than APC. |

dyydxx1: I get your point though I disagree.
Firstly I'm shocked just a tweet from an unknown northerner suddenly explains how the powerful most influential northerners will behave in 2023 even more shocked that you have taken this tweets beliefs hook line and sinker. We can't even predict what will happen in the next second talkless of 2023. And you are quoting FFK a known crack user as people you rely on for well informed and credible info
It really doesn't matter what PDP does? APC will pick a Northern VP and play for votes in NC, NE and NW. And that's the game Bros, it is not just that. On that day that I got the FFK report, I didn't take it serious but things I read online that same day( the day of the collation of results for president) made me believe it is likely true, including here on nairaland. If we must be realistic to ourselves, we need to start playing the game just as they have been doing. We have to prevent a scenario wherein the South will be in total disarray before when 2023 comes... Right now it is already happening.. Even before 2023 see the election. The killing in the South but nothing in the North. This will affect 2023 whether you admit it or not. I am a realist. There has to be a round table discussion in the South before 2023. But I know that will never happen. It is well. |

mandarin: I know a lot of guys from some parts of the country feel that not getting what they desire is tantamount to betrayal etc etc. All these talk of another northern presidency in 2023 is their wishful thinking. What they fails to know is that there is always power moving from North to South and even northerners know that the stability they enjoy is hinged on that fact. Party politics is irrelevant in this case and people go check up the history.
2023 is in the hand of the South whichever Geopolitical zone it goes. Those agitating for northern take are just those looking at the political equation and already seeing how they are loosing out. They should wake up and strategize. You are wrong. You are missing the point lol. The problem with you guys is that it is not about who wins elections but one who is right about who does a better job at it. If you recall, Igbos warned about the disaster of Buhari should he win the election. You called them hater and all that. What happened in the end? You may wish to deny but you conscience will tell you the obvious. Stop telling igbos that they always lose... Cos to them that is not important. What is the benefit of winning an election that makes everyone cry? How many people celebrated the just concluded Buhari's win, how many compared to when he won in 2015? Again, you can deny that as well. Now coming to your assertion: by permutations APC will want to field in a Southerner abi? They are the ruling party abi? Lol You think PDP that is fighting to win back their earlier crown will field in a Southerner? You think they will be foolish to do that? Who taught them(pdp) this trick? Na dia una eyes go clear. You see, with the way things are now, Power may remain in the North for a long time... I am for any southerner cos I know South always move the country forward... There was a screenshot from a Northerner immediately the results showed Buhari was winning that hinted on what we are currently debating here. I can't find it but I will look for it. There is also an article from. FFK address this and you all called conspiracy theory... The problem is you guys think winning makes u right.. But it is often not. It is like marrying a man wherein the woman start celebrating that she was right to have married him only for the man to turn abusive... |

Some time ago, I posted pictures from various sources, specifically by Northerners showing the trend of what is likely to be the birth of 2023 even before it is here, but some Yorubas, majority of whom hope Osibanjo becomes the next president, called it fake accounts.
They called me igbos, ipob, Igbo...
I would want Osibanjo to be the next president because he is a good man at heart and he has proven to have what it can take to lead this country with unity within the short span of opportunity he had to prove himself .
That dream might remain nothing but a dream if the South doesn't do anything about what transpired prior to 2015 election.
Today I have another snippet for you... If you( specifically the South West) like call it fake account again. You will have yourself to blame by 2023 if you don't do anything to solidify your base.

1. Seun Kuti 2. Wizkid 3. DBanj 4. Davido I never said Davido is the biggest na. Show me where I said that. You can't compare Davido to wizkid na. See, Davido knows he has no talent, he knows his weakness and he appreciates that and doing everything to smartly to cover or make up for that Just few days ago, I was watching on WhatsApp status where he was doing some freestyle. Moneywomen17: this write up makes no sense. First of all before we talk about Lagos state let’s talk about the city Lagos first. Lagos was the city the British came to and capital of Nigeria then. Lagos state was then form when places like ikeja, ikorodu, agege, epe and so on were extracted from the western region to form Lagos state. There is no dispute Yoruba of awori and ijebu own Lagos along with the egun. A lot of tribes especially ibos just wants to be deliberately mischievous. Meanwhile apart from places also named idu in Lagos what about Oshodi naned after oshodi tapa a nupe man who help fought in Lagos. Does that mean nupe own Lagos. Even Lagos is a Portuguese name ooh I guess Portuguese owns it too. All the traditional kings in Lagos are Yoruba except the egun king that should be thing to tell u who owns the land. Lol... Before the coming of the British, that is what this post was meant to address. I intend to reach out to the Benin man in the first pic and see what he can share. the Aworis also have link to Benin. I read somewhere that their dialect has a mix of Benin in it. Igbos are not being mischievous but Tinubu found it is comforting to play the card. I hope you are aware of the DailyPost article from one of the Obas who said Yoruba can't claim to own Lagos? What can you say about the other guy in second pic who said Badagry people are not Yoruba? One thing is obvious, there is a lot of things we do not know about this Lagos. You are saying Lagos is Portuguese, that is right but who gave it Eko? Tinubu by birth or Origin, from what I heard, is not from Lagos. I am almost compelled to conclude that the history of Lagos is similar to what happened to America where the Europeans stole the land from Aborigines of American Indians... Yes, it is almost looking so. The American Indians who are in minority today can barely speak or claim they own the land... They have been relegated to the back. |

SolutionMee:

One thing I know is that the Igbo people are synonymous to development.
Any place that you can't find an Igbo man is still a village and it's still very far from development. My village, your village and our village all became cities today due to the massive influx of Igbo businessmen.
Lagos without Igbos in it is a commercial nonsense.
Most banks and companies all came to our respective towns because of the awareness that the Igbo businessmen create for the town. Their presence signifies business. Banks now exist in your town not because they love or care about you and your king but because they are interested in partnering with Igbo businessmen in your town.
Lagos is a glorified village without Igbos in it.
They don't just own Lagos state. In my own humble opinion, I think they own Nigeria. If they call you Chest Beater now... I no go settle fight o. My own is to unravel the real owners of Lagos. If God blesses me in the future, I do not mind spending money to sponsor a documentary. We must find the truth.... |
