Boko Haram: FG uncovers 96 sponsors

THE Federal Government says it has uncovered 96 companies and individuals sponsoring Boko Haram and other terrorists in the country.

Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed who disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja, said the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) has compiled a list of 96 financiers of terrorism, as well as 424 associates and supporters of the financiers.

The NFIU also unmasked 123 companies and 33 bureaux de change linked with terrorism in the country.

As of March 2021, DPR published the number of valid refinery project licences that stood at 23 and some childry of hate and perdition will come to social media crying monopoly when in reality GEJ gave them licences and access to CBN loans in billions of naira but ended up importing oil instead of building the refineries but when others who aren't among them building they cry monopoly, always crying on others progress. Dangote and BUA Cement companies are popular because of their quality, especially Dangote Cement which is currently the only company producing 52.5 grade cement in the country, which it sells at the same price as its 42.5 grade cement. Most other manufacturers in Nigeria were manufacturing to the 32.5 grade.

BREAKING: Security Forces have arrested 4 Notorious Commanders of IPOB’s ESN over alleged involvement in a recent attack by Gunmen on a convoy of United States (US) embassy officials in Ogbaru, Anambra State.

US convoy attack: Couple, two others held in Anambra community

Four persons, including a couple have been arrested over alleged involvement in recent attack by gunmen on a convoy of United States’ (US) Mission, Nigeria, officials in Ogbaru, Anambra State.

The suspects were reportedly arrested during a raid of several criminal camps in the area by security operatives on a Joint-Task-Force operation led by the Commander of Naval base, Onitsha.

A source privy to the JTF operation disclosed that the Navy Commander was accompanied in the operation by the Commissioner of Police in the state, Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The source said: “Several camps of the unknown gunmen were raided by security operatives in Anambra state during a joint task force operation conducted in Ogbaru LGA of the state.

“During the operation which was led by the Commander of Naval Base Onitsha in company of the CP, Commandant of NSCDC and Commander NDLEA Anambra State, four notorious leaders/commanders of the IPOB/ESN in Ogbaru LGA were arrested.

“It was revealed that three of the arrested persons were reportedly part of the attack on US convoy in Ogbaru three weeks ago.

“The communities expressed satisfaction at the efforts of the operatives towards security of their lives and property.”

At least seven persons were killed in the ambush on US Consulate vehicles who were going to the riverine community for humanitarian service early last month.
